Building A Business Empire From Scratch In Another World

Chapter 154 : Moonlit Mirage

"Big bro, they're already waiting! Let's go!" Nixie exclaimed, standing in front of Felix with a huff of annoyance.

Felix nodded, shaking his head with a bittersweet smile. "Come on, are you still mad? It's been over a month! Besides, you extorted 1 billion gold coins from me, that was just two hours of hard-earned money!"

Nixie glared at him. "You have the nerve to say that? You literally turned me into a practice dummy! Do you know how many bolts of lightning I had to endure? Look at my hair! My once soft and fluffy pink locks have lost all their luster because of you. I've had to hide back at the estate just to avoid embarrassment!" She snorted angrily.

Felix scratched his nose, guilt flashing across his face as he glanced at her pale pink hair. "Well, at least you got 1 billion gold coins out of it, so that makes us even."

"Even? That's barely enough! I want 5% equity in your bicycle business for fixing my hair and mending my heart; otherwise, we're not done here," Nixie declared defiantly.

Felix stood up from his chair and playfully tapped her on the head with an amused grin.

"Don't talk nonsense. Come on; let's go meet them." With that, he strolled out of the office, hands clasped behind his back.

Nixie pouted and hurried after him. "Big bro, we're not finished discussing this!"

---

Inside a grand building resembling a winery, machines for wine production were meticulously arranged throughout the space.

The intoxicating aroma of wine wafted through the air, it was almost enough to make one tipsy just from breathing it in!

"President Felix! This is the wine we crafted based on your recipes; please give it a taste," said an elderly man named Mr. Stuart, around sixty years old with long gray hair and spirited eyes framed by an ordinary face.

Felix smiled as he surveyed the ten bottles of wine lined up on the table next to elegant glasses.

"Mr. Stuart, great to see you again! Could you help me out here? I'm no expert when it comes to wine," he replied sheepishly.

"Of course!" Mr. Stuart beamed as he pointed to the first bottle, a striking piece with a wide base tapering elegantly towards the top and adorned with white vein-like patterns that gave it an elegant appearance.

"President Felix, allow me to introduce you to the exquisite Moonlit Mirage," Mr. Stuart began, his voice smooth and inviting. "This wine is crafted from the rarest of ingredients, most notably the legendary Moonbloom Grapes, an enchanting treasure of Heaven and Earth that only flourishes under the gentle caress of moonlight and starlight.

Alongside these grapes, we have the ethereal Moonstone Dust, which imparts a dreamy quality to the wine, and the delicate essence of Lunaria Rose Petals.

The ingredients used in creating the Moonlit Mirage are so precious that they result in an incredibly dense concentration of Mana within the wine. In fact, I estimate that only Tier 5 Mana Cultivators and above can safely indulge in this elixir; those below this tier risk serious injury or worse if they attempt to drink it."

Felix's eyes sparkled with excitement as he gazed at the Moonlit Mirage, this wine was nothing short of a treasure for any Mana Cultivator, especially those who appreciated fine wine.

Beside him, Nixie's eyes gleamed with dollar signs; she saw this wine as a golden opportunity.

"We're going to get rich again!" Nixie whispered dreamily, a small drool escaping her lips.

Felix chuckled softly as he gently knocked her on the head playfully. "Wake up! You're drooling, what an embarrassment!"

Nixie snapped out of her reverie and wiped her mouth while pouting at him.

Felix shook his head before turning back to Mr. Stuart. "Could you pour me a glass?"

"Me too! Me too!" Nixie chimed in eagerly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation after Mr. Stuart's enticing description.

Felix glanced at her disapprovingly. "Children shouldn't drink; you're not having any."

"Come on, big bro! Who says I'm a child? I'm already a Tier 5 Wind Elemental Mage! I can handle it!" Nixie puffed out her small chest defiantly.

Felix gave her chest a quick glance before muttering under his breath, "You're still too small."

"Humph! Bad brother!" Nixie turned away with a blush creeping onto her cheeks.

Mr. Stuart chuckled from the side, "It wouldn't hurt for her to try just a sip."

"Okay," Felix relented with a smile.

"Grandpa Stuart is the best!" Nixie cheered as she hurriedly grabbed a wine glass from Mr. Stuart's hand.

With an elegant flourish, Mr. Stuart uncorked the bottle of Moonlit Mirage and poured its shimmering silver-pink liquid into Nixie's glass.

As soon as it was poured, an intoxicating aroma filled the air, a delightful blend of rose petals and ripe Moonbloom Grapes that seemed almost magical.

Felix's eyes glazed over, as if he'd stepped into a dreamscape.

He inhaled deeply, a blissful smile spreading across his face. Moments later, he snapped back to reality, his gaze landing on the glass of wine in Mr. Stuart's hand. With eager anticipation, he took a small sip.

The flavors danced on his palate, mellow and delicate notes of grapes, fragrant rose petals, and a whisper of honey cascaded down his throat.

In that instant, Felix felt as though he were lying on a soft bed of roses beneath an enchanting moonlit sky. Warmth enveloped him like the gentle caress of a maiden's hands.

As the wine worked its magic, Felix sensed his Mana Veins expanding; the energy within him stirred as intense Mana flowed in from outside, swirling through his body before he expertly calmed it down.

He opened his eyes and exhaled with satisfaction a dreamy sigh escaped him.

"This wine is simply divine! System, I never expected your recipes to be this extraordinary." He transmitted his voice to the system.

[ Of course! All my products are of the highest quality ]the system replied proudly.

"Mr. Stuart, this Moonlit Mirage is simply..." Felix trailed off, searching for words but finding none that could capture its essence.

Mr. Stuart merely smiled knowingly while stroking his beard with an air of elegance.

Suddenly, a dreamy voice interrupted their moment: "Bi... big... bro!"

Felix turned to see Nixie wobbling toward him with flushed cheeks, her face was so red it looked like it might drip blood!

She wore a dazed expression as if she were lost in her own fantasy; drool hung at the corner of her mouth as if she were dreaming about something delicious.

Felix was momentarily speechless at her state; he didn't need to ask what was occupying her thoughts, the dreamy look on her face and the drool suggested she was likely envisioning piles of gold coins or some other treasure.

He noticed her Mana fluctuating wildly; she seemed close to making a breakthrough.

"I should mention that the alcohol content in Moonlit Mirage is quite high," Mr. Stuart added with a grin.

Shaking his head gently, Felix placed a hand on Nixie's back and channeled some Mana into her body.

Instantly calming her turbulent energy brought her back to reality as the drunken haze faded away.

Startled awake, Nixie pouted at Felix. "Big bro! You ruined my dream! I was swimming happily on a mountain of gold coins!"

"Gold again? Is that all you think about? One day money might land you in serious trouble," Felix replied with an amused shake of his head.

Nixie simply pouted further but couldn't tear her eyes away from the remaining Moonlit Mirage in the bottle, her yearning gaze spoke volumes about what she truly desired.

Felix turned to Mr. Stuart with a curious glint in his eye and asked, "How many bottles of Moonlit Mirage can you produce?"

Mr. Stuart paused for a moment, seemingly lost in thought. Finally, he replied, "President Felix, the ingredients for crafting Moonlit Mirage are incredibly rare and quite costly. Take the Moonbloom Grapes, for instance, they only flourish after absorbing the energy of the moon and stars! The entire process is intricate and requires meticulous attention; even a minor error could spoil everything."

He took a breath before continuing, "Considering all these factors, my estimate is that we can produce only 10,000 bottles of Moonlit Mirage per year."

Felix pondered this information deeply. After a few moments of reflection, he looked back at Mr. Stuart and said with conviction, "Ten thousand bottles sounds perfect! After all, we're creating a high-quality wine that's meant to be exclusive, so rare that it becomes a treasure to find. Let's keep it special!"

"Hey big bro, why do we only produce such a small amount of wine? I really think we could make a ton and rake in some serious cash!" Nixie asked, her curiosity piqued.

Felix shook his head with a knowing smile. "Nixie, think about it: the rarer something is, the more people want it. Imagine if we only released 1,000 bottles of Moonlit Mirage each month

. You already know how incredible it tastes and the effects it has, so just picture how much others would crave it! With limited availability, everyone will be scrambling to get their hands on a bottle, but not everyone will succeed."

He paused for emphasis before continuing. "We need to keep it exclusive and rare. Our goal is to attract only the wealthiest customers, those who might even find that having money doesn't guarantee them a bottle!

By creating an aura of scarcity around Moonlit Mirage, we can position it as something so coveted that even money can't easily buy it. We have to build a high-end brand that screams exclusivity!"

As Felix spoke, Nixie's eyes lit up with understanding.
