"Oh? Then why are you refusing a member of the Xiao Clan as a host?" Mo Yu responded indifferently. 

Yun Leng's brows furrowed deeply at Mo Yu's insistence, and just as he was preparing to forcefully reject the matter, Nalan Yanran interjected, "Grand Elder, allow Mo Yu to co-host with you. Since both sides are involved in this match, the Xiao Clan's presence is quite reasonable." 

Hearing Nalan Yanran's response, Yun Leng's brows creased slightly. Mo Yu's demand left this respected Grand Elder of the Yun Lan Sect somewhat displeased.

Seeing Mo Yu reclaim respect for the Xiao Clan and himself, Xiao Yan nodded solemnly and replied, "Thank you, Cousin Mo Yu. I'll handle the rest." 

With that, his expression returned to its calm indifference. Xiao Yan tightened his grip on his ruler, and after a moment, his foot stomped forward. The solid stone beneath his feet cracked with fissures radiating outward. Swirling green Dou Qi, interwoven with faint green flames, surged from Xiao Yan's body. 

"Let's begin," he said, his face calm and cold as he looked at Nalan Yanran. 

At this sight, Mo Yu cast a glance at Yun Leng, who wore a mocking smile, and returned a subtle smile of his own. He, too, took a step back, giving way for the two combatants in the upcoming match. 

Would Xiao Yan emerge victorious, or would Nalan Yanran claim victory? The coming battle was certain to astonish everyone…
