With a flash, he appeared beside her, scooping her up into his arms in a bridal carry.

His wings unfurled, and in an instant, they shot across the sky, heading straight for the island in the royal garden's lake.

"Deadly Tyrant! Where are you taking me?!" Xiao Yi Xian flailed, kicking and punching in protest.

But then, she noticed the serene surroundings.

A beautiful lake.

A lush bamboo grove.

The scenery was breathtaking.

Wu Tian gazed at the newly constructed lake and bamboo forest. Looking over his shoulder, he softly said to Hua She'er and Yue Mei, "You two did well."

Then, turning to them, he instructed, "Take her over there to bathe. I want to be alone for a while."

"Deadly Tyrant, I " Xiao Yi Xian started to say, but Hua She'er shook her head, stopping her.

With a confused expression, she let them lead her toward the other side of the lake.

Soon, the gentle splashes of water and the soft giggles of three beautiful women filled the space.

But unexpectedly

Wu Tian didn't even glance in their direction.

Not even out of the corner of his eye.

Instead, he stood by the lake, staring into the water, lost in thought.

He was remembering.

Recalling the moments he had shared with Medusa here.
