Blood disaster

Chapter 8: BLOOD DISASTER EPISODE EIGHT

CULMINATION (END)

Ten years have passed. The company has finally revived.

You're probably wondering why I begin with that. If you look back a decade, you'll recall a turning point—a critical moment when everything nearly collapsed. At the center of it all was a decision I made, influenced by someone I trusted.

My personal assistant, whom I had employed three years prior, once introduced a series of ideas. At the time, they seemed promising. But with time and clarity, I came to realize they were catastrophic—terrible, even.

The truth was darker than I imagined. This woman had carefully planned her sabotage from the moment she was hired. She envied everything I had built and desired to take it all for herself—but not through merit. She sought to dismantle what I had created and seize control through deception.

Though her scheme wasn't entirely successful, she did manage to escape with a staggering sum—$200 million. Despite the betrayal, most of my employees remained loyal. Their complaints were valid, but their faith in me never wavered.

Times were undeniably tough. But through the grace of God, and relentless perseverance, we survived—and eventually, we recovered.

Now, here I am—ten years later—standing at a new crossroads.

It is finally time to tell the children everything. They deserve the truth. But the weight of it is almost too much to bear, because what I must reveal will break their hearts.

How do I tell them that their mother died when they were only two years old?

They've lived without knowing the full truth, and I have carried that secret with me for so long. But now, the bigger burden looms—something far more painful.

I must also tell them that I, too, am preparing to leave them.

Not by choice.

But because my health is failing, and my time is running short.
