Blood disaster

Chapter 3: blood disaster episode 3 The letter

The Letter

My dearest husband,

There are many things that have been weighing heavily on my heart since the day we got married. For a long time, I felt it was naïve to speak to you about them. But now, these thoughts have followed me persistently—especially since I became pregnant.

What troubles me is not about us, but about our unborn children.

You're probably wondering what any of this has to do with them. It concerns inheritance. I am writing to plead with you: when the time comes to divide what we have, please ensure that everything is shared equally among them.

At one point, I couldn't bring myself to say this aloud. I feared you'd dismiss it as overthinking, or tell me I simply needed rest. But this is my earnest request—a favor I ask with all my heart—so that our children will grow up cherishing what we leave behind, rather than falling into conflict over it.

I am not trying to instill fear, but I speak from painful experience. There is something I never told you before—among my own family, the men killed each other when the inheritance was not divided fairly.

And so, I beg you, my dear husband: when your time comes, please do as I've asked. Don't measure who is better or more deserving. Don't compare. Just be fair.

I know my time may be short, but promise me—when you read this letter—you will honor this wish.

With all my love,Your loving wife
