Boom—Their palms clashed again, sending an even fiercer blast of wind rippling across the area, distorting the air like a sudden typhoon.

"How many months has it been already? Why is there still a damn typhoon messing up our date? My makeup's ruined! What the hell kind of place is this?!"

"Uh... I'm sorry, Miss Hashimoto, maybe we should go somewhere else—"

"Forget it! I'm not in the mood anymore…"

The dating hotspot emptied in seconds as couples scattered in panic, completely unaware of the true cause of the chaos—Su Li and Shihouin Yoruichi, locked in a ferocious battle under flickering streetlights, unleashing shockwaves that mimicked nature's wrath but were born entirely from fists, speed, and skill.

Yoruichi's sharp eyes narrowed as she realized Su Li had mirrored her move again with uncanny precision, something she had originally dismissed as coincidence, but now she knew for certain it wasn't just mimicry—each iteration came with subtle enhancements, adjustments in timing, force, and angle that made the techniques not only sharper but faster and far more efficient than her original forms. A master of Hakuda since childhood, Yoruichi recognized the deliberate craftsmanship immediately and felt a complex surge of shock and curiosity at this prodigy before her. "No wonder the intel flagged this kid as a White Hits prodigy… He definitely lives up to the title."

Their hands parted as Yoruichi leaned backward with fluid grace, lifting her knee into position for a move she had long perfected—Hakuda: Earth Dragon—but Su Li, calm and unreadable as ever, countered instantly by raising his elbow into a clean intercept.

"Hmph. Finally done copying me, huh?" she scoffed inwardly, assuming his change in technique stemmed from his seated posture, which created limitations that forced a different approach; but seeing his elbow rise so smoothly, she smirked, convinced she'd seen through him. Elbow Technique: Hanging Persimmon.

She twisted mid-air, shifting her trajectory and aiming her knee for Su Li's chin, chaining into an advanced transition of her own invention—Variation: Flying Ghost Point—a move known for its deceptive pathing and near-impossible-to-block velocity, capable of slipping past most defenses and ending fights in a single strike. Yet Su Li didn't flinch, didn't pivot, didn't raise a guard—his elbow continued on its original course until, at the precise moment of engagement, it curved unnaturally and struck toward Yoruichi's inner thigh in a motion so fluid and seamless it appeared premeditated from the very beginning.

Her eyes widened in genuine surprise as she was forced to twist her entire body midair, flipping backward with such precision that her hair grazed the ground, and redirected her aborted strike into a powerful downward smash.

Boom—A thunderous impact cracked the pavement, exploding into a crater as she landed with force and grace. Yoruichi rose slowly, never taking her eyes off Su Li, visibly rattled by the exchange. "Hey… What's with your moves? They're not what I remember."

With a faint smile, Su Li replied, "Miss Yoruichi, times have changed, and whether you believe it or not, your techniques have started to show their age."

Her brow furrowed, disbelief flashing across her face as she processed what that meant—seventy years of absence, and Hakuda had evolved this far? Why hadn't Urahara said anything? And more importantly—who the hell was this kid really?

"Hmph! You're full of it," she snapped, unwilling to accept that her fighting style was falling behind.

Su Li exhaled with a hint of weariness. "Miss Yoruichi, starting a fight without asking any questions makes this feel less like a duel and more like an interrogation." Holding up both hands in exaggerated surrender, he continued, "Honestly, I still don't even know why you're here."

"Don't act innocent!" she shot back without hesitation. "You defeated Sui-Feng, didn't you? You took her captain seat!"

A pause hung in the air.

"I wouldn't say I stole it…"

"You're that White Hits genius Soul Society's whispering about!"

"…Yes."

"Then it was you who beat up my apprentice!!"

Su Li rubbed his forehead with a dry chuckle, finally piecing it together—it was revenge for Sui-Feng, nothing more, nothing less.

Yoruichi's glare intensified, her voice filled with fury as she growled, "Laugh now, brat. I'm about to beat that smirk off your face!"

Without further warning, her leg swept toward him with enough force to stir a roaring whirlwind through the open plaza.

Boom—The force behind the kick could have shattered concrete, but Su Li merely raised his arm in response.

Bang—Her leg slammed against his wrist with a brutal clang, yet he didn't move—not even slightly. Then, with almost casual precision, his hand flicked outward and caught her ankle.

Yoruichi's expression shifted instantly as she tapped the ground with her free foot, launching herself upward in a twisting arc, using the momentum to bring her other leg slashing down with even more vicious speed and force.

Su Li tilted his head ever so slightly, letting the kick slice past his shoulder. But the moment he dodged—

Shnk! A blur of black shot toward him—kunai, several of them, flung in a sudden burst of midair precision.

Su Li's hand moved faster than thought.

Clang! Clang! Thud! Each blade was deflected with pinpoint accuracy, spinning away harmlessly into the pavement.

As Yoruichi yanked her leg free and retreated in a flash, leaping back over ten meters to reassess the situation, her narrowed eyes told the full story—he had countered everything, completely unfazed, and not even slightly serious. This guy… he's stronger than I thought.

Urahara's warning returned to her in chilling clarity: "Don't engage him directly. That boy's strength is beyond simple judgment."

Across from her, Su Li glanced at the kunai in his hand, lips curling into an amused smile as he let out a quiet laugh. "Hidden weapons… in a hand-to-hand fight?" he said softly, clearly entertained. "Seriously?"
