BEST FRIEND HUSBAND

"I've already said it. I will play behind Jasson's family's back. They will never know about this relationship. Even that stupid Lynn will be fooled. You know how sneaky I can be, not just you. Some men are still in touch with me." Adinda assured the man.

The man laughed at Adinda's cunning. It didn't matter to him if Adinda played with other men. According to him, Adinda was very good at balancing him game on the bed.

This afternoon Adinda invited the man to play with her. She didn't care about the time or the circumstances. Even though Lynn knew of her mischief, Adinda would find a way to trust her.

Lynn decided to leave the room. He quickly returned to him room. But Papa called out to him. Juan told him, to follow him to the back garden.

"Are you busy today?" Juan asked as he put his hands in his trouser pockets.

"No Pa. Just got here." Lynn replied while following him papa's style.

"Better come with me to the back garden. I have something to talk to you about." Juan walked first and Lynn followed.

Feli suddenly woke up from her sleep. She caught her breath with fear. For some reason her heart sensed danger. She felt that danger was all around her.

"Why is this again?" Feli immediately took her mobile phone and stood up.

Feli deliberately walked out of the room. As she walked, she rubbed her eyes and saw a waiter whose face was quite familiar. Feli was silent and pretended not to see her. But her heart seemed to lead her to follow the woman.

"Isn't that Nindy?" Feli asked silently. "Since when does Nindy work here?"

The waitress was indeed Nindy. Feli knew her well when she was an employee at Sudarmaji Group. Feli thought positively so as not to suspect Nindy.

Nindy deliberately made her way to the kitchen. As she passed Feli, she grasped something and it was clearly visible to Feli's eyes. Feli frowned and became suspicious.

Feli quietly followed Nindy. She saw Nindy with some other waiters. Nindy deliberately called them. Nindy told them to sit on the chairs.

"We have to do it tonight!" Nindy ordered firmly.

Feli was confused by Nindy's order. She deliberately pressed her body against the wall outside the kitchen. Her hand took an item from her trouser pocket. Her hand quickly stuck the item inside the wall.

Feli immediately left the place. She took her mobile phone and opened a secret application. Feli walked as if nothing had happened. With casual steps, Feli headed to her room.

Feli entered and threw her body on the bed. She immediately connected her mobile phone to the device. The device turned out to be a recording device deliberately made by Evan. The quality was very good and the sound was clear. Feli often carries the device everywhere. It saved her the trouble of eavesdropping on people's conversations.

"Let's hear what their plans are? I hope they don't have any bad plans for Jasson's family." Feli hoped that they did not have anything against the Jasson family.

"You're still getting married!" Juan made an important decision in Lynn's life.

Lynn was shocked to see Juan. How could Juan decide on this marriage without his future wife? Lynn tried to calm down and began to discuss.

"Papa. I don't want to get married. I don't even have a future wife. How can I get married if I don't have a future wife? My dream with Adinda has been shattered. I will not continue with this marriage," said a level-headed Lynn.

"Sorry Lynn. We have made this decision. You will still get married but not with Adinda. Papa has asked Andi's father to give his daughter to you. I hope you understand." Juan said honestly.

"You mean Papa Feli?" asked a confused Lynn.

"Yes," Juan replied calmly.

"Papa, we are both true friends. I do have feelings for her. But I have buried those feelings deep. I don't want to hurt her. I want her to be free and make decisions in her own life. But I always accompany her. I don't want to force her to live with me." Lynn said wisely.

Juan understood what Lynn was saying. Whether he wanted to or not, Juan had to force him. Juan felt that this marriage was based on pressure. Not because of company politics.

"Papa knows you will be disappointed. This marriage is not because of company politics. The company you hold is already very large. So is the Sudarmaji Group company. But this is because of circumstances. Do you want the invited guests to sneer at you? Plus, sooner or later the public will find out all the answers. People cannot be fooled. Papa recognises that they are very smart to find an answer. So you have to do it," Juan pleaded.
