POV Rio

I knew once I sent the clones away that I needed to reserve my energy. Which is why I was going to use the Omnitrix. From research, I have found that due to my species and DNA Lock, I can stay transformed for a very long time with no side effects or timeout. Another nice boon is it drains my stamina and only my stamina.

It only took seconds for Nightmare Moon to teleport to me and I started by transforming into an Olympian as it was one of my strongest transformations. I called it Thalius.

Rio: "Let's dance Nightmare!"

In this form, I had control over the weather and the sun. I started by making dozens of lightning bolts and launching them at her.

NM: "You debase yourself by hiding your true form! Fine then let me show you what a real Alicorn can do."

The lighting bolts hit but only a shield but I didn't hesitate and kept throwing every kind of elemental attack I could. I blinked and she was right in front of me.

'I didn't even sense her!'

I tried to back away but I got a blast of magic strait to the chest. It automatically activated the Ring I had on me. I switched forms to Bloodwynd the Green Martian transformation. It seemed to throw her off when I phased through her attacks.

NM: "If you think this is enough you are sorely mistaken."

She cast a spell and her hooves glowed. My instincts told me to dodge and get away. I dodge but not without losing my left arm. I switched to a massive psychic attack. Which staggered her allowing me to get some space as I healed from the damage. I switched to XLR8 to outspeed her and stall for more time.

NM: "A speedster huh?"

She cast a freezing spell on the ground and I immediately switched to Frozone my Royal Jotun form. I used the ice as fuel to restore some of my stamina. Right as I knew she was coming for me I swapped to Ghostfreak and sunk into the ground. I felt the ground shake violently as she crashed into the ground. I reappeared and transformed into Pesky Dust. I hoped to put her to sleep. I regretted trying as my Totem of Undying was activated when she kicked me so hard that I flew 300 miles before stopping. I ate a Senzu Bean and transformed it into Brainstorm to calculate a proper strategy.

NM: "I am growing bored of this pointless battle."

A trap was triggered that detonated a massive bomb but she seemed to ignore it. The next thing that was activated was a squadron of Trifighters started attacking her. She vaporized them but it gave me time to think of a plan and transform into my Gardevoir transformation. I ran the calculation I just needed to stall.

NM: "Look at all the technology they have all just to mimic a fraction of our power. It's all meaningless. Now you are in that disgusting form. Turn back into your real form right now or I will make you."

Rio: "Why are you doing this? This is pointless. You can't kill me. I can just heal again and keep fighting."

NM: "Pointless? You are the one who is fighting me. For what! This insignificant planet is full of savages who kill each other for pointless endeavors. You will outlive this entire solar system. You will live to see this entire planet turn to ashes as the sun devours it. Everyone you have met in this life is a fragile mortal. One little accident away from oblivion. What difference does it make if they die now or in 500 years? At least if they die now they will serve a purpose for their betters."

Rio: "You don't see the futility of this. What will you have after killing everyone who opposes you? You will be left with a dead planet. You will be all alone."

NM: "No, I will have you and our future children. Even if you resist now after a few millennia of slavery you will come to see things my way. Or you can surrender now and I will reduce your punishment to only a century. I will even let most of you playthings alive. What do you say?"

Rio: "I say. Black Hole!"

I use all the gathered Psychic energy to make a black hole to contain Nightmare Moon. It seemed to be working but I was an idiot to think that.

BOOM

I was punched and my head was snapped completely off. My body was disintegrated as my head ate a Senzu Bean restoring me. I realized I had just used my last revival item. I switched to Swampfire and pulled out Auriel's Shield with an Nth Metal Sword. I checked the time and saw I still had to stall for quite some time.

NM: "You are going to regret spitting on my offer of mercy."

Rio: "Is that so?"

Suddenly a small beam of light crashed into Nightmare Moon. I pierced her defenses. Along with it came some allies.

Paarthunax: "Combine our Thu'ums Dovakiin!"

Everyone: "YOL TOOR SHUL!"

Gormlaith Golden-Hilt: "For Sovangarde!"

Harkon: "For Sovangarde!"

Felldir: "Die foul creature of the night!"

I saw the 3 heroes charge Nightmare Moon. What came next was a massive blast of magic. What shocked me was she destroyed the Dragoon.

Lex: "In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night, No Evil Shall Escape My Sight, Let Those Who Worship Evil's Might, Beware My Power, GREEN LANTERNS LIGHT!"

Lex tried to create an unbreakable cage but it was broken fairly quickly. Next to fall was the dragons as they had their wings ripped off and they were then thrown away. Last to fall were Krypto and Sebas who were blasted into a nearby mountain. Then she looked at me.

NM: "Is that all you have?"

Rio: "We will stop you!"

NM: "I'm waiting."

She punched me and while the Shield blocked some of the damage I was still launched at several times the speed of sound into a mountain. I ate another Senzu Bean and as she landed in front of me I blocked with the shield as she started wailing at me. I had to eat nearly a dozen Senzu Beans to survive but eventually, I was launched through the mountain and into another. As I landed I ate yet another Senzu Bean and as she landed I unleashed the energy that was gathered from her attacks.

BOOM

It worked and a massive energy beam was released and hit her point blank. Which seemed to actually injure her but unfortunately she learned and the Shield was taken from me and tossed away. What came next was me switching to Chromastone and trying desperately to survive the onslaught of attacks. Eventually, the Omnitrix couldn't handle it and it had to recharge. I was returned to my Alicorn form.

NM: "Ah too bad I was enjoying smashing that previous form to pieces. Now that you are in your true form I can start really disciplining you."

As she tried to hit me again I activated my trap card.

NM: "Hmm, what is this?"

Rio: "That is the Spell Binding Circle. It makes it so you are unable to move or attack and I can't attack you either."

NM: "You are only stalling the inevitable."

Rio: "Maybe but you stay there."

I flew away as far as I could and went to a specific spot. I felt the trap fade and heard Nightmare Moon approaching. I tried to block but it didn't work out so well.

BOOM

She cocked her front hoof and smashed it into my face. My skull was shattered and the system alerted me I was critically low on HP. I collapsed on the ground and ate my last Senzu Bean. I tried to fight back with my skills but it was quickly clear I was fighting a master of combat. It didn't take long for me to be reduced to a pile of blood and feathers. I was managing to live but only because she wasn't trying to kill me.

NM: "Look at what you made me do! You think I wanted to hurt you! All of this fighting was pointless. You are fighting so you can watch everything you ever knew die. Think Rio! You are wasting your potential defending these insignificant lifeforms that will destroy themselves without our guidance. All this resisting is pointless. I never wanted to harm you but you forced me to. Now I will take you with me and we can start our rule. Remember this anytime you think of having divergent thoughts."

Rio: "Cough. hahahaha."

NM: "What do you find so amusing? You lost."

Rio: "Yes and no. I am laughing because I won."

Nightmare Moon was confused until she heard it.

???: "EVIL CONTAINMENT WAVE!"

A massive green vortex appeared and started pulling Nightmare Moon. She tried resisting but our fight had drained much of her mana and stamina meaning she was not able to easily resist the attack.

NM: "This won't be enough to stop me!"

I realized she was right so I moved on to my backup plan.

Rio: "True but that's why I have a backup plan."

I raised my hooves up to the sky and called out.

Rio: "Friends lend me your energy! This is our only chance to defeat her!"

I started gathering energy, which is why I didn't use Mana during our entire fight. I felt everyone sending me their energy, and I refined it as best I could. I saw Nightmare Moon starting to resist the wave, so I threw the Spirit Bomb at her.

NM: "AHHHHH! I refuse to be stopped again! RAAAAAAGH!"

I realized I was running out of energy and fast. All my bones were broken and I was only alive because I was using the Force to move and keep myself alive. When it seemed like she was going to break free someone came to help. It was freaking Nyan Cat! I ran right at Nightmare Moon and she fell into the vortex completely but not before vaporizing everything nearby. She clearly could tell she was doomed so she used a spell. I wasn't certain what the spell was but I didn't care she could not stop the seal and I fell to the ground.

Rio: "Hahahahaha! We did it! We actually did it!"

I couldn't fall asleep as I knew if I did I would die. Then the Force warned me and I looked up.

Rio: "You got to be kidding me. You are really that petty!"

That last spell Nightmare Moon used was to control the moon to crash into the planet. I couldn't move fast enough to escape and I just sighed.

'Well looks like I will experience what death outside a trial will feel.'

Suddenly I felt a familiar presence.

Lucario: "Father don't you dare give up. We are going to make it out of here."

Rio: "How did you get here? Never mind get out of here now before you die here as well."

Lucario: "No I am not leaving without you."

He grabs me and starts to run. Suddenly, he starts glowing. When the glowing fades, I see Lucario has Mega Evolved. I am shocked, but I see a Gate up ahead, and in it, I see Simon straining to keep it open.

Simon: "Hurry I can't keep it open much longer!"

We sped up and we made it through the Gate just as it closed.

Tsunade: "Get him to the Med Bay now!"

Authors Note:

If you are curious the battle was somewhat inspired by Omniman vs Invincible. No one died but many are in critical condition. Rio knew from the beginning that he couldn't defeat Nightmare Moon so he chose to seal her away instead. But in order for that to work she needed to be weakened. One clone went to let everyone know what the plan was while the other made the seal. As Evil Containment Wave wasn't enough to contain her. The next chapter will be the aftermath and then Gacha again as this chapter happened on the 21st of February. Until next time Ciao.
