Becoming my enemy's ally

"You're the eldest daughter of the Zhu family. Your name Zhu Wenli. As you heard, your parents my master and mistress, left for the approval letter in order to let you enter the realm of cultivators. " Hualia explained.

"Them, why am I lying here and meeting you here?" She asked

Hualia looked at her young mistress, she thought, maybe my young lady really need to see the physician. Her condition is getting more complicated.

Wenli snapped her fingers in front of her countlessly. She knows her thoughts quite well and she knows what she was thinking too .

But, she couldn't think much of her thoughts. What's more important is that, she needs to know why she, who was in the modern world in one minute, but in the split of a second, she's in the traditional world, most confusing, the world she usually sees in movies

"Are you done thinking? What about my question? Are you really going to keep me hanging?"

Wenli stood up, hand on her chin, pacing up and down the little line that demarcates the little pavement and the floor.

"No, it's nothing" she waved her hands at her. "I'm just... When are they coming back? My parents.."she asked

"They should b back by tomorrow" Hualia replied.

"Tomorrow? I'm not ready to..." She thought

"Um... What's my image in front of them?"

"You're good not so strange like now?" Hualia explained.

"Ah, I need to do everything and get back to the modern world. I can't stay here, I really can't" She thought to herself "Hualia we need to welcome them, shouldn't we?"

The next day, the parents came back as expected. Wenli was napping...

"Miss Wenli, Miss Wenli..."Hualia woke her up.

"What did something happen?" Wenli asked

"You're parents are here, they are looking for you "

"Really? Ok, I'll head there now. Tell them that I'll come to them sooner " Wenli said. Hualia nodded and left swiftly.

The two were discussing, giggling happily when Wenli came in.

Wenli paused. She was still analyzing what she was seeing. Could it be a dream? How possible does it seem that her, her..

"Mom Dad!!!" She shouted.

How can her parents are here, were they also transmigrated to this ancient world? How possible?

"That's my daughter. She's at it again" her mother chuckled.

"How could you be here? When did you arrive? Do you know I've missed you two so dearly?" She hugged them tightly.

Her father was surprised at this sudden gesture. Though their daughter has been a good and obedient child, but she has never hugged or talked about her love for them with her mouth. She had always showed them through actions, not saying it out aloud.

"Zhu Wenli, are you ok?" Her father asked.

Hearing these, she was marvelled.

"Zhu? Why Zhu not Zhao? Are they my ancient parents, not modern parents? What's really going on here?"

"Pa, ma, don't you know anyone named Zhao? She asked curiously.

"Zhao? Who's that? Is it someone you want to marry? " She stayed puzzled by these.

Impossible! Why would her parents here, have the same face as her parents in her world? That's... Something was really wrong. She was sent here for something, but, she can't remember what.

After receiving the approval letter to enter the cultivation world, she stayed in her room, trying to understand what was really going on.

"My parents aren't my parents. They just have the same face and the same attitude. What's really going on?" She contemplated.

"Is there anything wrong miss Wenli? Hualia's calm voice was heard.

"No, I'm alright. It's just that I'm disappointed"

"Nothing,just everything" she said, holding firmly, her letter.

The day before the acceptance ceremony, Wenli was being doted on with lots of beauty garments expensive jewelries and many more things.

She was going there to be a pupil in one of the prestigious learning ground called the 'WANGSHOU ACADEMY " her father really fought for that position and got it. She was amongst the luckiest to be accepted into to the academy.

On the night before her departure, her father decided to host a farewell party for her.

Eating and dining with lots of chatters here and there, reminded her of her days in the modern world. But she felt sign of deja Vu. But she doesn't care about it.

Just a few hours to the party, war broke outside the Zhu 's residence.

"Master Zhu there's trouble, the evil overlord is here" someone whispered to his ear.

"What? They must've found out " he muttered fidgeting hard.

" What should we do?"

He seem to think for a while, before he looked up to him.

"Take Wenli out of here hurry!!!" He ordered trying to find his wife.

The man nodded and left to find his master's daughter.

Wenli and her maid Hualia was in her room chatting and enjoying quiet time together, when suddenly, her door banged open.

This insolence surged up an unknown anger in her but she managed to keep calm and hear his reasons before lashing out at him.

"May I know the meaning of this..."

"Mistress, you need to escape from here" he interrupted her

"Why?"

"No need to explain. We need to..." The sudden clashes and loud wails caught their attention

"Hurry! No time to waste "

Hualia looked at her troubled"

"Let's hurry... But what about my parents?"

" Let's go" they left hurriedly.

Just like grace would have it, they had been long gone before they came into their room.

Wenli didn't know what happened next, but what knows was that the man that helped them had long been dead while trying to save them with his life.

They went back home and saw the chaotic events. None was breathing, nor, was there anyone who was still surviving. It was hell bloody

Something really,... Was really familiar but she couldn't place it.

"Mom Dad" she murmured.

Looking for them like as if her life depends on it.

She found them in their pool of blood her brain went blank for the whole moment. Only Hualia's cries was heard.

"Mom Dad"she teared, coming close to them.

"You can't die. You can't... " Just then, flashes began to come to her mind it was the life of her modern life.

IN HER MODERN LIFE

Three days after her arrival, her father's closest friend came with the police with a search warrant.

"What? Embezzlement of funds, Selling of expired products" the police said

The whole family was surprised, that even the father's closest friend even supported it and falsey accused them of something they knew nothing about. They had been through thick and thin only to be accused just like that.

Though they defended themselves in the end,

"I'll make sure you never get away with this"

"Why are you doing this? " He managed to ask feeling betrayed.

"I never wanted you to succeed. I just needed you to work and become wealthy so I can come and steal your wealth like it should be . Thanks for being so devoted to your work and, made me so wealthy I'm so grateful" those words of betrayal shattered their heart.

They were about to get used it, when assassins came and slaughtered every living creature, living in the residence.

Wenli who managed to survive, with the help of her mother's maud, who she didn't know of her fate later on.

She came back to exact revenge on those who made her peaceful short life a mess, forgetting that she's now powerless and has nothing like fame and fortune.

"That daughter is here for you " a guard whispered.

"That incompetent daughter? Well, she's just in time for the grand welcome party of my proud son " he spoke so proudly.

Wenli entered with an aura of hatred surging through her.

"You okay?" He asked mockingly

"Are you really going to do this? He was your friend "

"Hah! " He let out an annoying smile he emphasize strongly on the"WAS"

"You said it, he was no longer and he's dead and nothing else" he stated.

"I'll make sure you pay for what you've done to my family " she threatened throwing a document at his face, then, stormed out.

He looked at the document and realized that this girl,might be a threat that needs to be wiped away, out of the world.

It was a rainy day,

It was pouring so heavily that day, when she was suddenly knocked down by car. She was deeply injured but can be saved.

"Dad, do we really need to do this?" A gentle resentful voice came in.

"In order to be a man, you need to have the heart of a tiger" his father advised, giving him the gun for him to shoot her.

He reluctantly took hesitating before firing.

Wenli, who received the gun shot crying vigorously, regretting her life.

"If I knew that this was going to happen, I'll never have come back, i would have been in London and love them fully inwardly " she thought shedding tears.

"For these heavens, I curse you!!!" She cursed, shedding her last tears and breathing her last.

SOMEWHERE BETWEEN YHE HEAVENS AND EARTH....

"Where am I?" She asked looking around.

"Your ungrateful lady!!!" Thoundered one of the elders rebuked

"How dare you curse us? You should be lucky for meeting your parents at the right time. You're so foolish to threaten them without being prepared yet, you blamed it on us" another said.

"Where in earth is this place?" She asked unbothered about what they just said.

"You're where it's called reconsideration hall"

"Reconsideration hall?" She repeated ad if she was told to.

"But why am I here?" She asked not understanding why a dead person like her needs to be in a place like this.

"We are here to give you a second chance. But you must act wisely or else, your real body dies"

"My real body? What do you mean?"

"You're currently in coma, we'll give you rules you must obey, else but you and your body perishes"

"What rules?" She asked disbelieving, yet hopeful.

"First: you must stay alive at all cost

Second: you'll get three friends. One will be a betrayal like your father's friend. While the rest, will be extremely royal to you. But if you lose them, you've lost them forever so, think carefully in this kind of decisions.

"The reason due you cursing us, will be your nightmare, either you live with it, or die, or change your ill fated destiny " they stated.

" If I refuse?" She asked wanting to give up.

"Then, be ready to lose your life forever. Including those who you love the most"

Wenli wasn't that stupid, she still loved living, and she'll live at all cost no matter how hard, she must try as hard as she could to survive.

"That's all right? No problem, I'll survive and boast to you later for surviving" they smiled at her, knowing what she's getting at. And knowing it'd be stupid to trust in your capacity not your capability.

BACK TO THE DEATH DAY, IN THE ANCIENT DAY...

In remembering these, she wept bitterly.

Seeing history repeating itself, she couldn't help but regret everything.

Trying to get up but couldn't, she felt her body sore and weak, and a little weight on top her, sobbing slightly.

She opened her eyes but could only see blurry images.

She had cried s lot and her eyes had become blurry. But she knows that the person sobbing was her maid and the scent of blood, still oozed making her nauseous.

"What are we going to do to them?" A man's voice asked.

"They probably won't make it by tomorrow, let's go" another calmer yet, demonic and intimidating voice said.

As he was about to leave, she involuntary held the hems of his long garment looking at her as if asking for help

" No, I must survive at all cost. I shouldn't make that same mistake as before"she thought removing her hand. Then, stole a glance at him, and remained dumbstruck.

That face, was unforgettable never in her wildest dream would she forget.

Hua Wudi the son of her father's murderer and her murderer stood in front of her, ruthlessly looking at her.

"Hua Wudi" she murmured suddenly collapsing from the shock....
