Chapter 28: The Era Of Strength!

Xiaoya's inquiry resonated with everyone, as they all shared the same curiosity. Killing the entire herd of beasts by himself and then effortlessly defeating two level 4 white wolf kings was an achievement beyond that of typical level 4 beast kings.

"Little girl, how come this emperor is stronger than these two white wolf kings? Okay, hurry up and collect all the crystals! I have other important matters to attend to!" Noah urged. His priority was to return to the bottom of the sea to evolve, then focus on resting, eating, and playing Doudou.

"Yes, Emperor! We'll do it now!" Chief No. 1 replied. Everyone immediately returned to the fortress and began to handle the corpses of the beasts. Yet, Xiaoya stayed with Noah. Seeing she hadn't left, Noah didn't bother talking to her, and he closed his three eyes to fall asleep. Xiaoya kept observing his huge body, even wanting to touch it. However, due to the terrifying strength Noah had just demonstrated, Xiaoya was a little frightened!

"Ahem, Great Emperor! Are all the creatures in the ocean as strong as you?" Zhang Xiaoya suddenly asked. Noah opened his eyes and looked at her. This Xiaoya was stunning, tall, and highly intellectual! She was the ultimate royal sister from the past!

"It's different. Strength depends on species, bloodline level, and actual combat experience!" Noah replied.

"What exactly is the bloodline level you are talking about?"

"You know the Giant Turtle King! Its bloodline level is lower than legendary, while the two white wolf kings just now are only medium rare level! The difference between the two is as vast as clouds and mud!" Noah explained to the beautiful woman before him.

"Rare level? Legendary level?" Zhang Xiaoya looked puzzled.

Noah went on to explain some information about bloodline levels up to the legendary level. As for anything beyond, Noah couldn't just talk nonsense.

"I see. This means that creatures with strong bloodlines will be much stronger than atavistic and mutated creatures later on!" Zhang Xiaoya thought deeply.

Noah glared at her and said angrily, "Children, don't ask too much about adult matters!"

Noah sensed it for a moment and realized the number was indeed that large. He then put the entire box into his backpack. "Very good! I'll leave then! Let's talk if you need anything!" After Noah finished speaking, he flew into the sky with a swoosh. Soon, his figure disappeared into the horizon, leaving the humans in the fortress with tens of thousands of evolved beasts, enabling them to give birth to a large number of evolved beasts rapidly.

"No, I want to go home; my mother is still waiting for me!" 

"Why won't you give us face? Do you know that we are from the Black Tiger Gang? You and your mother will get nothing if you offend us!" Another gangster added, "Brother Fox, why are you talking so much? Just grab her!"

This girl was none other than Noah's classmate and crush, Miao Suning! She and her parents had come south to this fortress base. On the way, her father was bitten to death by a ferocious beast. Now only she and her mother depend on each other. 

Incidents like today's are all too common. Many people die in this fortress every day. 

Just then, a young policewoman intervened: "Are you causing trouble here again, bullying men and dominating women?" The gangsters were immediately intimidated. Brother Fox blurted, "No way, we're just asking this girl something. Girl, you agree, right?"

The officer, named Chen, is the security police of the fortress. Her father is a high-level executive in the fortress, and her brother is a Level 2 evolver. With such a formidable family, Brother Fox and his gang are terrified of her. 

"Girl, are you okay?" Officer Chen asked. 

"Thank you, officer. I'm fine! I almost...!" 

"Well, it's okay now. Be careful when you're out in the future!" sighed Officer Chen. 

Miao Suning quickly returned home, and Officer Chen could only feel helpless. Now, this fortress base is in chaos; people refuse to obey government control and do as they please. She realizes that the world has shifted from an era of rule of law to one that respects strength. Meanwhile, Noah is in the depths of the East China Sea, selecting the next level of evolutionary species.
