Becoming a Deity from Planting the Bodhi Tree

The connection to the Great Universe...

Previously, Qingyang Ancestor had specifically instructed him that the breakthrough of the Spirit Realm and the Heavenly Person checkpoint must be completed within the Great Universe.

The two should be consistent.

The woman in black looked at him and said, "You still have untapped potential, you can go to the Ancient Road and compete with the talents of the Ten Thousand Clans to carve out your own path, but remember, the Great Universe is where you belong."

Ji Jingqiu acknowledged the wisdom imparted.

"Your predecessor indeed left you some heritage, but whether you can inherit it depends on yourself."

The woman in black suddenly smiled, a charm bursting forth, with the vicissitudes of time etched in her eyes, yet it didn't age her beauty, she remained exquisitely captivating, her appearance dreamlike and illusory, the most beautiful woman Ji Jingqiu had ever seen in his life.

That smile had a unique allure; Ji Jingqiu's spirit was inevitably stirred, but he quickly suppressed it with his Pan Realm mindset.

"This place is where Mu Shitian once enlightened himself; he borrowed the Divine Temple to witness the embryonic form of past Infinite Tribulations, from which he comprehended the embryonic form of his own Dao Foundation."

The woman in black's sleeves fluttered, and she casually stepped aside, her voice cool and distant.

Behind her, an old and worn meditation cushion quietly lay there.

"If you wish to follow the footsteps of the predecessors, you may sit upon it, but don't say I didn't warn you, sitting on this cushion will allow you to observe the grandeur of a realm's annihilation. During the process, if your spirit cultivation is not enough, a single glance can lead you to spirit annihilation."

Ji Jingqiu turned his gaze towards the cushion, which seemed to have an ethereal figure sitting atop it, motionless as if it was a God having existed since ancient times, emanating an ancient and mysterious charm.

This was the ethereal shadow left by a supreme being who had once sat on the cushion, unintentionally revealing their Dao and merging with the cushion, engraved in time, and guiding successors to see the scenes witnessed by predecessors.

In an instant, he saw a murky and collapsing realm.

Mountains and rivers ultimately capsized.

Sun, Moon, Star too had their dimming.

It was the downfall of All Worlds Suffering Sea, Descent of Great Tribulation, pathways misaligned, no one in the world could hide, all had to sink within it, facing decay and twilight.

It was just a moment.

Ji Jingqiu was forced to close his eyes, his head throbbing, cold sweat breaking out on his back, almost "swallowed" by the scene he had just witnessed.

That glance contained the entire process of decay and annihilation of a whole universe.

This was the prelude to the Infinite Destruction, also the Infinite Space Tribulation!

He had only persisted for an instant, the vast flow of information contained within nearly overwhelmed him, in other words, in a glance, all he could see was silence, decay, and rot among many Dharma principles.

If it weren't for him already attaining the Spirit Plate Realm, that glance would have been enough to force him into "Dao transformation"!

Ji Jingqiu took a deep breath, entered Spirit Meditation, sat under the Bodhi Tree, and with the help of the Bodhi Tree, recovered the depleted Heart Power, then tried again to peer into the scenes depicted.

This exceedingly dangerous task for others was a tremendous opportunity for him who had verified the Pan Realm!

Beneath the Bad Tribulation, heaven and earth toppled, the universe collapsed, the Dharma principles and Dao rules manifested in the world, walking on the path of destruction, yet it also provided the best opportunity for contact, being able to "see" directly without needing to sense through the obscurity.

Ji Jingqiu released his thoughts, fully driving the Wisdom Light, capturing the inexplicable Dao trails in the images, probing the Dharma order within, and deducing his own path.

When his spirit grew fatigued, he would rest briefly, relying on the Bodhi Tree to restore Heart Power.

Once recovered, he continued to engage in contemplation.

This was not an increase in realm, but an insight into the Dharma Dao rules, and also a sorting out of his own path; he was trying to use this as a base to carve out the second Essential Sword Skill, laying the foundation for his own Martial Arts.

Ji Jingqiu sat cross-legged here, gradually emitting a long Zen charm, subtly triggering certain wonderful Dao rhythmic rules in this place.

Brahma Flowers bloomed one by one from the Void, like gathering mounds of snow, surrounding him within.

A Bodhi Tree also manifested behind him, in terms of height and lushness, it was significantly taller than the World Tree sapling in the center of the Pure Land.

After the manifestation of this Heart Image Bodhi Tree, the World Tree sapling rooted in this place swayed its branches and leaves as if seeing a kin.

A strand of Glazed Glass Light fell from the Bodhi Tree, meeting with the hazy life light it emitted.

The woman in black was inwardly shocked; has this child already cultivated this Heart Image Bodhi Tree to such an extent?

At this moment, every inch of Ji Jingqiu's skin was faintly aglow.

Since the Innate marking, the Dharma runes imprinted therein resonated with the Dharma Dao rules between Heaven and Earth.

With each resonance, he was cleansing the not-so-abundant impurities in his body, entering a realm that was ethereal and divine.

Yet this bodily strengthening was only incidental.

What was more crucial was that during the contemplation, Ji Jingqiu gradually refined the Dao rhyme Dharma principle needed, sharpening the sword in his heart.

But as his insight deepened, his gaze grew increasingly profound, full of vicissitudes and weariness.

This was the side effect of Observing Dao.

If he hadn't verified the Pan Realm, he wouldn't have lasted until now.

During this process, he seemed to enter many worlds, witnessing too many apocalyptic scenes, seeing sentient beings struggling in vain, unable to Transcend.
