Jerry and Lu He arrived shortly after.

Seeing Huo Qing standing outside, Jerry asked, "Boss?"

Huo Qing opened the refrigerated box, which contained ten neatly arranged syringes filled with blue liquid.

"If you ask me, you should use these quickly, just to be safe," Sally said with an unusually solemn expression as she looked at the three of them.

"Exactly," Huo Qing immediately took one and said, "At least I won't have to use the suppressants anymore." With that, he skillfully injected himself in the arm.

Lu He didn't carry obvious beast-like genes, but if he had recessive beast-like genes in him, they would awaken with the injection.

Jerry bit his lip, "First I have to make sure I survive." He had some beast-like genes, though not many; a single suppressant could last him a year, nowhere near Huo Qing's need for one every seven days.

She put down the newspaper and walked to the balcony, looking down.

Quite a few soldiers had surrounded the Tianfeng Grand Hotel, among them, Half Beast Humans.

There were also many luxury cars lined up, trying to get in.

There was an auction taking place at the hotel tonight, and perhaps these luxury cars came for that.

But judging by the number of people getting out of the cars, there were quite a few... from five-seater cars, as many as ten people emerged, of all ages and both genders.

They must be seeking refuge.
