Chapter 470: When the Bro Code Gets Weird
Razorkai and Zephyrahn stood side by side, both panting heavily, their bodies marked with battle scars.
L-Snake stood tall in front of them, his arms crossed casually.
Zephyrahn's wings twitched as he turned to Razorkai.
"Razorkai," he said, his voice calm but strained.
"We… we have no choice."
Razorkai frowned, his jaws splitting slightly.
"What are you talking about?"
Zephyrahn's eyes glowed faintly.
"We… we have to fuse," he said.
"Vernyx—no, L-Snake—he's too strong."
"I don't know what that Lord L did to him, but now… we're losing."
Razorkai's face twisted with anger.
"Damn it," he growled.
"Fuse with me? That's disgusting."
Zephyrahn's feathers rustled, his eyes hard.
"It's the only way," he insisted.
"We either fight together or we lose to him."
Razorkai's claws dug into the ground.
"I don't want to lose to that smug snake," he muttered.
He glared at Zephyrahn. "Fine. Let's do it."
L-Snake smirked, his forked tongue flicking in the mist.
"Oh? Trying something new?" he mocked.
"Interesting. Let's see what you can do."
Razorkai and Zephyrahn roared at the same time.
Their bodies glowed, a sickly mix of red and black energy.
Feathers merged with scales, claws fused with talons, and their bodies twisted in on themselves.
A monstrous, grotesque fusion formed.
A new creature with Razorkai's bulk and Zephyrahn's wings.
Its face was a jagged mix of shark teeth and razor feathers.
Its arms ended in massive, shifting claws that glowed with unstable energy.
The new beast let out a deep, broken growl.
"We… are… RAZEP," it hissed, voice rumbling with two voices combined.
L-Snake raised an eyebrow, his smile widening.
"Now that's a face only a mother could love," he sneered.
"Let's see if you're worth my time."
---
Nebelis watched the battle unfold.
It still sipped on its tea vapor and munched on its cookie smoke.
Its tail flicked with interest as it saw the new fusion form of Razep.
"Well, well," Nebelis murmured, its eyes glowing faintly.
"They can even fuse. That's… interesting."
It sipped its tea vapor again, the steam drifting lazily.
It tilted its head slightly, watching the battle below.
"But still," it added, voice slow and curious, "why does it look like that?"
Its gaze lingered on Razep's jagged face.
Part shark teeth, part feathered mask, with too many eyes glowing at once.
Nebelis let out a low hum, amused.
"L-Snake was right," it said, its lips curling in a small smirk.
"A face only a mother could love."
It took another bite of its cookie smoke and crumbs floating away like mist.
It shifted its gaze back to the fight.
L-Snake stood his ground, arms folded, eyes unblinking.
Razep roared, its claws shifting and glowing with unstable power.
"We… will… win!" it shouted, voice a mix of Razorkai's growl and Zephyrahn's cold tone.
Nebelis's tail curled with curiosity.
"Let's see how strong you are, Razep," it said, eyes glinting.
"This might actually be fun."
It leaned back, tea vapor in hand, waiting for the clash to continue.
---
Razep roared, its voice vibrating through the mist.
"We… are… unstoppable!" it hissed, wings flaring wide.
It lunged forward, claws shifting and twisting.
"[Bloodstorm Raze]!" it screamed.
Its claws split into dozens of blood-forged spikes, each one spinning like a drill.
L-Snake narrowed his eyes, smirking as he raised his arms.
His hands shifted into shields, deflecting the first wave of spikes.
Sparks flew as metal clashed.
"Cute," L-Snake taunted, his voice smooth.
"But are you done yet?"
Razep's wings glowed, feathers turning into blade feathers that slashed through the air.
"[Razorwind Cyclone]!" it shouted.
A storm of blades flew at L-Snake from every angle.
L-Snake's smirk faded as he crossed his arms, his body forming armor plating.
The blades hit hard, sparks flying, cracks forming.
"Hmph," L-Snake muttered, his voice strained for the first time.
"That's better. Finally showing some teeth."
He shoved forward, metal grinding as he stepped back.
Razep's eyes gleamed.
"Bleed!" it roared, lunging with its claws again, combining [Bloodstorm Raze] and [Razorwind Cyclone].
Claws and feathers flew together, each strike aimed at L-Snake's chest.
L-Snake's arms shifted into swords, slashing at the claws.
He deflected three, four, but the fifth cut deep into his shoulder, sparks flying.
He staggered back, his smirk returning.
"Not bad," L-Snake admitted, his tongue flicking.
"Looks like this fusion is worth something after all."
Razep roared again, its claws dripping with red energy.
"We… are Razep! And we will not lose to you!"
L-Snake laughed, though a faint trickle of silver blood leaked from his shoulder.
"Big words from a big mess," he mocked.
"But let's see you handle this."
His tail whipped around, shifting into a Luxorite scythe.
"[Luxorite Reaper Slash]!" he roared, swinging the scythe in a wide arc.
Razep blocked with its claws, the scythe grinding against the blood-forged metal.
Sparks and blood sprayed everywhere.
"Too slow!" Razep snarled, wings slamming down.
"[Bloodwind Fury]!" it shrieked.
A tornado of red wind and blood blades erupted, slamming into L-Snake's chest and knocking him back several steps.
L-Snake skidded, his armor cracked in places. He let out a low hiss.
"Well now," he said, voice low and dangerous, "that actually stung."
Razep lunged forward, claws raised. "Die!" it roared.
L-Snake's arms shifted again, forming a spear and a shield.
He braced himself, smirk returning.
"Bring it," he growled.
Razep's claws slammed into the shield, but L-Snake's spear thrust forward, piercing Razep's shoulder.
Blood sprayed, but Razep didn't slow.
Its claws glowed red as it roared and lunged again.
"We… will never stop!"
L-Snake's eyes glowed brighter.
He deflected Razep's slash with his shield.
"Persistent," L-Snake muttered.
He shifted his stance, arms tensing.
Razep roared, its wings spreading wide as it leapt high, claws forming a spinning saw.
"[Blood Saw Fury]!"
It screamed, descending on L-Snake like a storm.
L-Snake raised his arms in defense.
But the claws cut deep this time, leaving a glowing gash on his chest.
He hissed, eyes narrowing.
"So… you're stronger than I thought," he murmured.
Razep landed hard, claws dripping with red energy, wings spread wide.
L-Snake's smirk returned.
"It seems," he said slowly, his eyes shining cold and sharp.
"I need to be a bit more serious."
