Batman’s Son in Marvel

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Batman Was Shocked Again

Adam Wayne looked at Bruce Wayne's determined expression and couldn't help but sigh deeply.

"Bruce, you're seriously underestimating artificial intelligence."

"As long as there's an internet connection, no one in the world can escape the tracking capabilities of AI."

Bruce Wayne smiled faintly, though there was skepticism in his eyes.

"Adam, I know you're trying to help, and I appreciate it. But Gotham City isn't that simple."

While Bruce was happy that Adam cared about him, he still didn't believe artificial intelligence could find Joker.

Gotham was a twisted, chaotic place—where the most advanced technologies coexisted with some of the most outdated systems. Crime was rampant, and citizens were extremely protective of their privacy, making surveillance installations a nightmare.

Even the Wayne Group had encountered resistance when trying to install cameras across the city.

Many areas still lacked any kind of monitoring.

Bruce was convinced that while Adam's AI might track Joker if he was walking down the street, once Joker slipped into Gotham's underground sewage system, even God wouldn't be able to find him.

Adam glanced at Bruce's doubtful expression and silently cursed him for being so old-fashioned.

Before the arrival of true artificial intelligence, no one could truly grasp its power.

In the digital world, AI is God.

Every electronic device—phones, computers, smartwatches, and TVs—could become its eyes and ears.

Unless Joker was living in complete isolation, cut off from any electronics, he wouldn't stand a chance.

"Skynet, activate unrestricted search mode."

"Understood, Master. Unrestricted mode activated."

Skynet's voice rang out, calm and composed.

Suddenly, golden light flickered from the AI's core, pulsing like a living, breathing entity.

Within seconds, a translucent screen appeared before Adam.

"Target found. Unrestricted mode terminated."

Bruce, Fox, and Alfred stared at the screen, dumbfounded.

On the screen, Joker appeared in all his chaotic glory—wearing his purple suit and green hair, busy with something in a cluttered lab.

His lips were twisted into a sinister smile, and his wild eyes danced with madness.

"This… this is impossible!" Bruce Wayne shouted, completely forgetting his usual composure.

Moments ago, he had been convinced that Joker was untraceable, yet now the AI had found him in mere seconds.

Bruce's entire worldview was shaken.

"Adam, how did you do that?!"

Adam glanced at Bruce and said nonchalantly, "It's simple. Skynet hijacked all internet-connected devices in Gotham City—phones, cameras, computers—anything connected to the web."

"Using those devices, Skynet locked onto Joker's location."

Adam pointed to the screen.

"That footage? It's from a camera Joker installed himself."

Fox groaned in disbelief.

"Oh my God, how is this even possible?"

"Gotham has tens of millions of residents and billions of electronic devices! How can this AI hijack them all in seconds?"

Fox's voice trembled as he spoke, clearly struggling to comprehend the scale of what he had just witnessed.

Bruce was equally stunned.

Wayne Enterprises had its own AI projects, but even their best prototypes couldn't bypass the defenses at Wayne Manor.

Yet Adam's AI made it look effortless—something straight out of science fiction.

"How did you even build something like this?" Bruce asked, still struggling to process what he was seeing.

Adam smirked.

"There's no need to overthink it, Bruce. For AI, this is child's play."

"Now stop panicking and look at what Joker's up to."

Everyone turned their attention back to the screen.

Joker was in a messy lab, working on something at a cluttered workstation. The green liquid in the containers around him sent chills down their spines.

Bruce's eyes narrowed.

"Nitrous oxide…"

He recognized it immediately.

But this wasn't ordinary nitrous oxide—this was Joker's version, a lethal nerve gas that caused victims to laugh uncontrollably until they died.

Seeing the massive tanks in Joker's lab, Bruce's face turned pale.

"With that amount, he could contaminate all of Gotham!"

Bruce could no longer focus on the AI's capabilities—Joker had to be stopped immediately.

"Adam, where is Joker's location?"

Adam snapped his fingers, and an address popped up on the screen:

35 120th Street, Harlem.

Bruce memorized the address and turned to leave.

"Alfred, take Adam to rest. I'll handle this."

"Yes, sir."

Alfred replied immediately, then looked at Adam.

"Master Adam, it's time to rest."

Adam eyed Alfred skeptically.

Despite his old, frail appearance, Alfred had a past in MI6 and was far more capable than he looked.

Trying to defy him wasn't a smart move.

Reluctantly, Adam nodded.

But curiosity burned in his chest.

Batman versus Joker!

This was something you only saw in movies—and now it was happening right in front of him.

"Bruce, are you sure I can't help?" Adam tried one last time.

"Joker's too unpredictable. You've done enough already, Adam. Now get some rest."

Bruce gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder before walking out.

Adam opened his mouth to protest but stopped when he saw Alfred's stern face.

"Fine, Alfred. I'll go rest."

But in his mind, Adam was already hatching a plan to secretly monitor the showdown between Batman and Joker.
