SWNOVELXO Chapter 8: Chaotic Meeting.
3rd POV:
Rimuru: (Hm. Hey Ciel, if life gave you lemon, what would you make?)
Ciel: (... Lemonade?)
Rimuru: (Right. So if life gave me spaghetti, I'd make noodles. Get it? )
Ciel: (....)
Rimuru: (Oh, come on. You could've at least said something. )
Ciel: (And you said Guy had a terrible sense of humour. *Sigh*)

*Somewhere in the Western nation*
There were demons rampaging all around. Some were greater demons, and others were arch-demons blasting the nearby vicinity with various types of nuclear strike magic.
The demons killed everybody they saw around, and they didn't even spare the children that were crying for their parents.
In the midst of all this, there was a green-haired lady dressed in a maid attire now dyed with the blood of the people that were unfortunate enough to cross paths with her.
Misery: To all the pathetic lifeforms in this nation. It is I the green primordial, Misery. I am here to lay a word from my master. A new group of demon lords have been formed. This council consists of four powerful individuals, ready to lay waste off those who dare to stand in their way.
Whilst all this went on, there was a woman dressed in a holy armament. She wore a golden necklace with a sword in hand.
Her face was also covered with a white mask that black markings and a red mark at the middle.
???: Tch. Why do they always have to attack a nation when they have an announcement. And is it just me, or did she just say "four powerful individuals "
With a swift hand motion, dozens of demons approaching her were killed. She precisely attacked the demons that cast nuclear strike magic behind her with a quick horizontal magicule infused slash that sliced through the attack and assaulted the demons, leading to their doom
Misery: They go by the name "The Four Great Calamities". Here are the names of the individuals that represent this group. "Lord of Darkness: Guy Crimson", "Spirit Ruler:Ramires", "Chaos Dragoniod: Milim Nava", "Chaos Creator: Rimuru Tempest".
When Misery released the news, she turned and teleported out of there. Meanwhile, the masked woman stood there frozen. To say she was shocked would be a huge understatement.
???: (H-hinata, t-this is some kind of sick joke r-right?)
Hinata: (No. She clearly said four individuals, it seems that she meant it especially with the fact that she mentioned his name. But how? Did we miss something? Hey Chloe! Can you hear me!?)
Chloe didn't respond and pretended as if she didn't hear anything. Her bangs hung in front of her eyes and she had a shadow that covered half of her face. Then she suddenly started to giggle weirdly which startled Hinata.
Hinata: U-um Chloe. Are you okay.
Chloe: Tehehehe~. I understand it now. So that's how you wanna play huh. Fine!!
Hinata: Hey! Where do you think you're going to!?
Chloe: That asshole decided to test my wrath!! I'll show him what happens when you use Rimuru-sensei to mess with me!!!
Hinata: Oi! You're not in your right mind! Stop before you do something that you'll regret later!
Chronoa: Hehehe~. Don't worry Rimuru-san it'll be over soon.
Hinata: Not you too Chronoa!!... Now there's no stopping her now huh. Damn you, Rimuru! You'll pay for this!!
Chloe: If you're thinking of doing something mean to Rimuru-sensei, then I'll seal your soul in the [Infinity Prison].
Chronoa: I'll also make sure to slowly torture your soul with anything usable hehehehehe~.
Hinata: Y-Yeah. Sorry about that.
(I can manage Chloe, but now that Chronoa has awoken, I'll just give up. She's like those yandere characters I don't wanna deal with.)
*Back at the Ice Palace*
Rimuru: (Oi Ciel-san! Look under there!
Ciel: (Hm. Under where?)
Rimuru: (Hahaha! You said underwear!)
Ciel: (....)
Rimuru: (Damn it! You're no fun.)
Ciel: (Does it please you when I suffer?)
Rimuru: (What! No way!)
Ciel: (That was a rhetorical question. (－＿－;) )
Rimuru was messing with Ciel when he suddenly felt a chill run through his non-existent spine.
Rimuru: Brrrh. What was that! Were you mad at me, Ciel-san?
Ciel: (I was mad at you, but I'm not the cause for that sudden sensation. This is a feeling you often experience when something bad is about to happen.)
Rimuru: (Oi! Don't raise a red flag here!)
[Three days later cause, why not]
Rimuru's POV:
It has been relatively boring after the fight with Milim. I kinda understand why Guy and the others are always longing for cool battles. Well, hopefully, things will get interesting from now on.
Misery came back a day ago after fulfilling her duty and is now standing behind Guy with a stoic expression. I always wonder how they manage to stand still without any movement for so long. I kinda pity them, I can't do that.
I am now sitting on the chair that Rain brought to me, and I am having a discussion with Ciel. All in all, everything is alright. I was about to ask Guy something when I heard a loud explosion at the entrance of the Ice Palace.
I thought it was Rudra coming to meet Guy, so I sat back and relaxed. But the voice I heard shook me to the core.
Chloe: DEMON LORD GUY CRIMSON!!!
COME OUT NOW BEFORE I BURN THIS PALACE TO ASHES!!!
Rimuru: W-Wah! That's not who I think it is, right!?
I was about to get up, but I was confronted by Guy, who looked at me intently.
Guy:Hey Rimuru, you didn't do anything stupid, did yah!?
Rimuru: W-What do you mean! I wouldn't!
Guy: Huh. You're the last person I wanna hear that from! Forget it, let's go check who it is. If it is an arrogant human, I'll make them cry for hell!
Rimuru: C-Calm down! Let's just find out first. (Please let it not be who I think it is. )
Both of us decided to open the door that leads to the throne room and as soon as we did that, Misery and Rain where blasted out of the door above our heads.
We were immediately assaulted by a very powerful [Hero's Haki] but it didn't affect us.
Rimuru: What in the actual fuc-
Ciel: (Language master.)
Rimuru: (Oh, right. Sorry. But still what the hell.)
Ciel: (...)
Guy: A hero huh. But it ain't one of those run of the mail weaklings. Looks like things are getting interesting.
Rimuru: Oi! Don't get ahead of yourself. I'll handle it.
Guy: It seems that I was right. Did you kill her daddy?
Rimuru: I did nothing like that!
I decided to ignore Guy's taunts to focus on Chloe, or Chronoa.... or Hinata? Meh, whatever.
Chloe: Fweh! Rimuru-sensei!?
It seems that she recognises me. That's good and all but I think I'll play it safe for now. I mean we've never met in this timeline and if I acted as if I knew her, she's gonna be freaked out.
Well I didn't want her to see me as a cringy-ass stalker so I did what any wise person would do.
Rimuru: Hello there. It seems like you have some sort of business with me, right?
For a moment there, I felt her aura get lighter. But after that, I felt an overly intense bloodlust that could rival that of Iverage's.
Rimuru: Oh shit! I messed up.
Ciel: (Heh.)
Rimuru: (What are you so smug about!?)
Ciel: (Whatever do you mean master~?)
Rimuru: (Nothing. It's just your imagination.)
Ciel: (... Why you-)
Rimuru: (Heh.)
Chronoa/Chloe's POV:
As soon as I blasted the two primordial that were bugging me, the door was opened. I saw Guy Crimson and the only thing I wanted to do was to skin his shitty face.
But as soon as the second person behind him came out, my entire body froze, even Hinata and Chronoa were shocked stupid so you can't blame me.
It was Rimuru-sensei, and he was standing right there. I was so excited, and I spoke out by mistake. Gosh, that was so embarrassing. I'm just happy to see him again.
Wait, doesn't he look older here. He looks like a 16-17 year old teenager and his face is more beautiful or handsome than when I met him last. Well, to sum it up, he's hotter than ever.
Hinata: (Oi! Wake up from your weird fantasies!)
Oh right. I was daydreaming. I am really happy to see him again. I wanted to ask another question but hid next word shattered any remaining hope I had.
Rimuru: Hello there. It seems like you have some sort of business with me right?
So it is what I feared it was huh. An imposter who used Rimuru-sensei's appearance and name. I'll make sure you regret ever trying to do this
Chronoa: (Chloe, teach that arrogant peacock a lesson the gods will take record of.)
Chloe: (With pleasure ~.)
Hinata: (.....)
I immediately charged at the imposter and aim a slash ar his neck only to be countered by a sword slash of hos own. I didn't even see him when he unsheathed his blade. He's dangerous.
I then backed away and dashed at him again with the fastest speed I have ever used. I attempted to stab him thousands of times but he parried all of them, not missing anything.
I then teleported behind him and made a leg sweepbut he jumped up to avoid it, but that was all according to plan. I then used [Holy Magic: Disintegration Cannon]. It's basically a disintegration spell that is used as a cannon towards the target in a straight line that moves at the speed of light.
The attack hits him squarely but I was shocked to see him land on the floor unscathed. He had released a draconic-like wings that came out of his back and shielded him from my attack.
Is he a dragon? Thar only proves me right. That's an imposter.
Rimuru: That attack really stings. It looks like you're as strong as ever Chloe or is it Chronoa?
Chloe: (Wait, he knows my name!? But it's only Luminous that I told my name to and she wouldn't tell anyone that. Why is this timeline so different. Did I do anything wrong?) You, who are you?
Rimuru: Huh? I'm just a slime.
Immediately after he said this, he transformed into a slime. I was once again shocked stupid by him. He transformed back into his human form and gave me a smile that resembled that of Rimuru's.
I didn't want to be tricked so I decided to ask him a question only he would know about from this timeline.
Chloe: No. What is your other name?
As I said this, he looked a little confused, before he flashed me another smile in realisation of why I asked this.
Rimuru: My name was Satoru. Satoru Mikami. I was a 37 year old salary man who got stabbed in the back when saving his friend and got reincarnated as a slim-
He couldn't finish his words when I suddenly kissed him from nowhere. From his facial expression, it seems that he was not expecting this. His eyes were wide open and his cheeks were flushed red.
Rimuru: W-What was that for!
Chloe: Sorry. I got excited and overreacted. Tehehehe.
Rimuru: R-Right.
Guy: Uuuuum..... I'm gonna pretend as if I saw nothing so don't mind me. You can continue your... thing.
Rimuru: O-Oi! Don't leave me here alone you bastard!!
Chronoa: Ignore him Rimuru-san, he said we could continue so let's do just that~.
Rimuru: W-Wait a minute. I-I think we should settle down and- *mrphm*

3rd POV:
There were three individuals sitting opposite each other, supposedly having a serious meeting. These three individuals were Guy Crimson, Chloe Aubert and Rimuru Tempest. These were one of the world's most powerful individuals. Amongst them, Guy spoke up first.
Guy: So you're telling me that she is a girl you saved from a kingdom you visited and took her under your care and trained her but later got separated because you had a mission and when she was on her own she heard that you became a demon lord. She also thought that I had forced you into becoming one and decided to attack me only to meet you in person and she also attacked you in order to see if you were mind manipulated and after she found out the truth, we're having this meeting?
Rimuru: Yep!
Chloe: ...
After Guy finished speaking, Rimuru smiled brightly..... too bright, and Chloe just put her head down without speaking in shame after being scolded by Rimuru for acting rashly.
Guy: ... Lying too much is bad for your health you know?
Rimuru: Whatever do you mean Guy-kun?
Rimuru says this with closed eyes whilst flashing another bright smile that seemed to scare the hell out of Guy.
Guy: You know what, I'll leave yah to your own devices. Don't wanna get caught up in your bonding time. See yah!
Rimuru's expression changed from the bright smile to that of a man who was dumped by his girlfriend.
Chloe: Thanks alot Guy-san.
Guy leaves the room smirking whilst Rimuru stretches his hands towards Guy's departing figure.
Chloe grabbed Rimuru's outstretched hand, pulling him into a tight embrace.
Rimuru: C-Chloe, I'm right here. I won't disappear again so please let me go.
Chloe: Hmph! Fine. But you gotta tell me everything... now!
Rimuru: R-Right. The truth is, I'm actually from the future.
Chloe/Chronoa: ...What!?
Rimuru: Well, long story short, I was able to break your time travelling cycle and managed to defeated the Eastern Empire and evolved into a true dragon but that led to the great tenma war so I participated in it and Feldway released Iverage not before sending me to the end of time and space which I got out of and I became stronger then defeated both of them. After that, years passed and I got bored doing alot of paperwork and decided to travel to the past for fun and here we are.
Chloe: W-Wow. That's definitely something. So the you in the future is here alive and you evolved into a true dragon?
Rimuru: Yep! So you don't need to worry about anything as long as I'm here.
Hinata: You mean I'm never gonna have a body of my own!? Do you know how long I waited for it!?
Does that mean that I'm gonna have to always endure her antics till I die which is never!!?
Rimuru: H-Hinata-San, please calm down. I know it sounds frustrating but I'll figure something out so please hold on.
Hinata: You don't understand!! I had to stay in another body for years just to save your slimey ass and you're telling me that you came from the future JUST FOR FUN!!!
Rimuru: I'm not gonna hear the end of it today am I?
Chronoa: Come on Hinata. Give Rimuru here a break would you.
Chloe: Yeah! Besides, sensei survived the tenma war, so I'm pretty sure that he has a solution to our problem. He always does crazy things like this so something like this should be a breeze for him right?
Rimuru: (Wow. I just got indirectly insulted and they just put all the work on me like that.
My poor heart is broken. Do i even have a solution for something like this?)
Ciel: (Hai! You could use your skill {Soul Harvest} to collect her soul and allow her to possess your {Enhanced Body Double} whilst altering her appearance to that of her former self.)
Rimuru: (That's right! Nice one Ciel-san.) Well, I've got a solution, but it involves Hinata possessing my clone so it's up to her.
Hinata: I don't wanna look like Rimuru!
Rimuru: I could alter your appearance so there's no problem.
Hinata: Fine. I still feel unpleasant thinking about possessing a body of yours. Especially when you're the one altering my appearance
Chronoa: Oh shush your mush you ungrateful girl. I'd kill to possess one of Rimuru-san's clone you lucky bastard.
Rimuru: Why does that statement sound wrong in every way possible. *Sigh*
Hinata: Well then, ready when you are.
Rimuru: [Devour all souls "Asura"]
With the permission given, Rimuru created a clone and used "Soul Lord: Asura"on Hinata to collect her soul from Chloe's body and transferred it to his clone and he immediately started to alter her appearance to match the Hinata from his memories.
As soon as the operation was completed, Hinata's eyes began to open and she started to move her body parts, inspecting her newly acquired body. She was surprised to see that her new body was much better than her previous one.
Rimuru: Take it as a sorry and thank you gift.
Hinata: W-Well, I never a-asked for anything s-special. Hmph!
Rimuru smiled genuinely at her antics whilst Chloe got jealous and decided to separate them.
Guy also came around only to see another person he didn't recognise. He tried to attack her but Rimuru blocked his path. A little explanation (half-assed background story) was all it took to calm him down.
Rimuru: So, what are you gonna do from now on?
Chloe: Eh? Isn't it obvious? I'm gonna dump my work on Hinata-san and spend the rest of my life with Rimuru-sensei!
Rimuru/Hinata:... WHAT!!!
Chloe: Eh!?
Ciel: (Tch. That brat is really persistent, isn't she.)
Rimuru: Oi! You can't just dump all the work on Hinata and do what you want! Even though I have already changed the future, if you do this, it will be too much, and I plan on laying low to manage this type of change.
Hinata: Yeah! And where did you even get the idea of dumping all the dirty work on me!? We'll continue what we did, but I'll work in the shadows whilst you do the rest.
Chloe: Hmph! Well, if you promise me that we'll get to meet you regularly, then I don't mind.
Rimuru: Yeah, yeah. *Sigh*. Fine. It's a deal.
Chloe: Alright then! See you later Rimuru-sensei!
Rimuru: Yeah. See yah to Hinata!
Hinata: Hmph!
Rimuru: Heh. What a tsundere.
With that, Chloe and Hinata left the ice palace to continue their journey.
Rimuru: Hm. I wonder what will happen next. I hope it will be interesting.
