BACCARA: It's all an Illusion

Is my eyes playing tricks? Coincidence? This is the third time we're encountering in a single day. Well nevermind this happens to many people in this world, and he seems to be here for some work as my eyes can see.

"This is all messed up" I checked up myself in the restroom mirror, we had just finished our dinner so here I was doing some touch up before leaving.

-Ring-Ring-

"Hello?" It was Theo on the call "When are you coming back home mumma?" He questioned me "I'll be back in half an hour baby" he sighed "What happened?" Theo was silent for a second not saying anything "Hello?" Just as I was about to speak again "You forgot!" And he hung up the phone, saying that, I was left with questions.

15 minutes for in the restroom and I was still wondering what did he meant by that, I forgot? What? I started thinking again and again and again, successfully wasted 5 minutes more! "Sav?" I heard Ana's voice and I looked up to see her entering the restroom, "It's been 20 minutes, what are you still doing here?" I was too absent minded to even hear her say anything "Ana?" I called her "Yeah?" I thought several times before asking her "What have I forgotten?" I looked at Ana who had wrinkled her forehead with confusion meaning even she doesn't know, "Theo called, said I forgot and hung up the phone" I added "I really can't recall anything like that" I was so doomed "You're done for the night" well I knew this it's just she doesn't had to point out, "Let's go I'll drop you off it's getting darker outside and I've something planned for tomorrow with Aron" and that was the sentence that ringed a bell inside my mind my worrief face was soon covered by cheerful and I hugged Ana as I " I love you Ana" said these out with so much happiness, yes I remember now what Theo meant by that, "I'll go or else I'll be too late" I kissed Ana goodbye and left the restroom.

Upon walking through the restaurant I saw Mr. Baldwin still there, engrossed in his work with some people sitting with him wity several men in black guarding him, what does he even do for living?

Savannah's House

All darkness engulfed the entire apartment as I made myself inside my house, this boy had a habit of turning all the lights off when he's mad at something, he said it's nice to have a darkness so I can vent an anger without being seen by anyone or anything. Does this makes sense? It does.

"Theo?" I called for him but no answer, "Theo baby?" Again silence filled the entire place and I moved further into the darkness, found the switches and turned on the lights and started looking for here and there because I know even if I call him hundred times he won't answer, so I had to do some workout looking foe him. Nearly 10 minutes of finding Theo and still no success, but I can't stop here I know he wants me to find him, it was like my punishment for forgiving such an important planb, I deserve this time I agree.

Balcony. Now this was the only place left to search, I opened the glass door and entered the balcony and started roaming my eyes and caught a small figure sitting at the very corner of the balcony. Gotcha!

Steadily I walked towards it and switched on the lights and I can see Theo sitting curled up on the floor, I immediately bend down and took him in my arms "Baby sorry" I won't lie to him that forgot "Sorry, mommy forgot" I added "Will you please forgive me? Please?" I pleaded but he did not say anything just stayed in place calmly, I cupped his face in both of my palms he had his eyes lowered refused to look at me, "Baby look at mommy" but he refused to do so, I sighed and moved my left hand into my trench coat's pocket and take out an envelope like paper, "Here" and he finally looked up at me "Open it" I told him, hesitatedly he took that in his small hands snd opened it, that sad face was long gone and now replaced by a happy smile with twinkling in his eyes "Amusement Park's ticket!!!" He exclaimed so loudly, his voice echoed in the entire surrounding and I gave him a stern look but he was just so happy to even see that and ran inside the house with them, it curled up my lips too seeing him this happy, nothing else's matters.

Getting up the floor, I stayed a minutes in the balcony, feeling the midnight fresh air, it was so relaxing that I could sleep here, but it would be a stupid idea to do so and I halfway turned around I saw the same shadow I saw that day in the parking area, same height, same figure, everything was so similar into those shadows, and that was looking at me straight ahead still in his position, that black figure was far away but it felt like that was just going to take me into them and I left and closed the balcony door double checking the locks.

Savannah's House

-10 AM-

"Mommy are you ready?" Theo came in my room all dolled up for the day, "just give me a moment Theo" I talked as I was done pulling checking my heels in the mirror and with a final check on my yellow dress which ended right above my feet and a matching scarf I came out the dressing room, finding Theo walking back and fourth un my room impatiently, "I'm here Theo, let's go baby" he came running towards me "You look lovely, mommy" he complimented me, hand in hand we finally left to have a magical day with each other.
