Azura the youngest pope

I woke up today in a good mood, went to take a bath then got dressed, today is a special occasion so I have to look neat and presentable. 

I thought as I looked at myself in the mirror as Faith fixed up my white shirt, I'm wearing these silk light blue trousers and some dope golden boots, I look dashing indeed, my white hair is still still long, it reached my chest now and I'm keeping it, it looks cool. 

I look really handsome, so much so I almost look feminine, guess my mother had some strong blood. 

Fixing my shirt for the last time, I head out the room, the sound of my boots echoing across the empty hallway as I made my way to the teleportation array in the operating room.

Once again I am almost thirty minutes early as I didn't want to attract too much Attention to myself, I thought I would be the earliest but it looks like someone beat me to the punch.

A golden haired boy, my god he looks like the son of some emperor, with his shoulder length golden hair, shimmering as if made of threads of gold, sharp brows with a sharp gaze unbefitting of his age, those golden eyes were staring deep at me. 

If there was one word to describe the boy seated on the bench it would be, main character, ok that's two words but you get the point. 

I quietly went to sit on the last bench opposite to him but on the same row, it was just the two of us and I don't think any of us was gonna start a conversation, so we sat there in silence for thirty minutes. 

Faith wasn't with me at the moment, she said she has something to handle and will join me later, I'm kinda sad but what can I do but wait.

After thirty minutes, the rest of the people finally showed up. Powerful nobles of different kingdoms, the children of wealthy merchants and a few commoners again, all came with their guardians. 

Everyone took their seats, it was like last time, with spectators on the left and the children on the right, today I was not a spectator so I was kinda nervous, i really didn't know what to expect, what if I got some forbidden power and got labelled as a demon or heretic. 

The bishop descended from the upper floor, I honestly thinks he sleeps here and he still looks the same as he did 3 years ago, bald with a mighty beard, draped in his sacred white robes and a long blue scarf, carrying the same golden book with beautiful jewels embedded in it.

He stood at the podium. 

"Today we have a very special guest, blessing this ritual with her presence, everyone rise for cardinal Elizabeth". The bishop spoke as he looked towards the stairs leading to the upper area. 

There was an old lady, with completely grey hair tied in a tight bun on the back of her head, draped in a white robe with golden sleeves and an embroidered golden eye with angel wings on her chest. This was the crest of the eye of god church, as she walked slowly down the stairs, she looked graceful and elegant. 

This is my first time seeing a female clergy member and she's a cardinal, which basically the highest non combatant rank, her authority was right under the pope, her words could even influence the saints, she's basically an advisor for the pope and she resides in the sky palace. 

This was a truly powerful person and she personally came to overlook this event today, I wonder what's so special today. 

The cardinal took a seat on a throne that was a little further back from the podium as if she was just going to be an observer nothing more nothing less. 

"You may seat". She spoke in a soft voice, that made one want to listen to her. 

The second we set down, the bishop once again opened the golden book. Without ceremony started reading, or you can say reciting as it did sound like a poem.

"She saw darkness, felt the world was loveless 

she sent light, it was weightless yet with might 

It was not on a whim, for she had a dream

for humanity to believe"

That was beautiful, yet another poetic tale of the goddess, I really need to know who wrote that book. 

"We shall begin now".
