Aurora's Diary

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 Grace's Love Story

Paris, Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Aurora: You could only understand the essence of sunrise, when you missed sunrise. You could only understand the essence of sunset, when you missed sunset. You could only understand the essence of love, when you missed love. It's too late to understand the essence of love, when you had let it go.

In all the world, there were billions of people, so there must be billions of love stories, because everybody would have his love story. Everybody would have a love story, but not all love stories would have a happy ending. When someone desired to forget the one she loved, she would be guided to Lethe Tea Restaurant.

Aurora: East wind come, I sommon you with a clear heart!

East wind came, as she sommoned.

East wind wandered St Louis like an invisible traveler, traveling from spot to spot, but he didn't stop for any given place, even if gorgeous hydrangeas blossomed along path that east wind traveled by, no mater how gorgeous hydrangeas blossomed alongside, no mater how fragrant the scent of hydrangea pervaded sweet summer air.

Grace who was a 23-year-old girl, in pale dress, with pearl face, blonde curly hairs, and bright beads eyes. She was that sort of woman, who could allure a gentleman with one look, and freeze him with the next. There would be 30 excellent gentlemen lining up for her affection, if she considered to begin a relationship.

When hydrangea blossomed along St Louis, there would be fragrance of hydrangea pervading sweet summer air. Each time east wind passed through the street, the scent of hydrangea rode atop east wind toward somewhere else. In any given corner of the street, you could sniff the scent of hydrangea.

East wind passed through St Louis like an invisible traveler, traveling through the path that hydrangeas blossomed alongside. East wind caressed emerald leaves above, as if east wind was a pianist, who performed a music with affection for those hydrangeas, that smiled under green umbrellas of green emerald leaves.

Grace encountered east wind, as east wind happened to pass through the path of hers. Above her head emerald leaves breathed out a sweet love song, that lingered along the street, where the crowds were coming and going. Under her feet it's the journey lining with hydrangeas alongside, that guided her to Lethe Tea Restaurant.

She walked forward along the journey lined with blooming hydrangeas, not looking back the hydrangeas that she traveled by, no matter how gorgeous those hydrangeas blossomed alongside her journey, no matter how fragrant those hydrangeas filled sweet summer air with the scent of hydrangea.

She walked forward along the journey toward Lethe Tea Restaurant, where she could forget someone she couldn't forget by drinking a glass of random lethe tea combined with lethe water, which might take away her memories, that she shared with the one she loved, who disappeared in her life's journey.

She walked forward along the journey that the less traveled by, having no ideas, what the future might hold, and what the journey might lead to her. No matter what the future might hold, and what the journey might lead to her, she would rather paddle on her own canoe than sink in the unending sea of lovesickness.

At the end of the journey lined with blooming hydrangeas, she arrived the crossroads of her destiny, where she was faced with the major decision.

To forget or not to forget, that's the question. The past should remain in the past, before we could move on. She was gonna forget the one she loved, who disappeared in her life's journey, but the longer she was maintaining this long-distance relationship, the harder she could let go of what she had been holding on for so long.

Aurora: The longer you were maintaining this long-distance relationship, the harder you could let go of what you had been holding on for so long. The sooner you could cut off this long-distance relationship, the sooner you could move on in your journey.

Grace: Give me a glass of green tea, please!

Aurora: I will give you a glass of green tea combined with lethe water, and you will give me a tale of your love story. May you please tell me a tale of your love story?

Grace: Surely!

Aurora poured a glass of lethe water in the glass, added an enchanted green tea and several ice cubes, and gently shook the glass to balance the hue of green tea. She laid this glass of green tea at the table, listening to Grace's love story.

Grace: Once upon a time, there was a little girl, who was always dreaming of her angel, when she was 18 years old, and in the age with longing for affection. She happened to encounter a boy, who became an angel in her waking dream, and passed through the path that she often traveled by. It made her so happy that she talked with her angel, but one day her angel disappeared in her life's journey. She marched over mountains, forded across rivers, and sailed across ocean, but she couldn't find her angel back.

Grace was that little girl, who was always dreaming of her angel, when she was 18 years old, and in the age with longing for affection. She happened to come across with a boy, who became her angel, and passed through the path that she often traveled by.

She left Lethe Tea Restaurant with a strange relief, when she drank up that cup of green tea combined with lethe water.

Who became an angel, and passed through the path that she often traveled by?

Why would her angel disappear in her life's journey, and where did her angel go?

Aurora took out a set of tarot cards, selected three tarot cards randomly with curiosity, and predicted the answers what she wanted to know.

Aurora: The one who became an angel, and passed through the path that she often traveled by, was her hard-working boy. The reason why would he disappear in her life's journey, was because he must earn enough money to lighten each other's burden. He passed on to heaven, because of working overtime and unending lovesickness.
