Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Eleanor's Love Story
Paris, Friday, July 18, 2025.
Aurora: How many people we must meet in everyday, before we could come across with someone special someday.
Those who desired for affection, wondered what love was, and those who preserved a relationship, wondered what's the key to a relationship.
Aurora: East wind come, I sommon you with a clear heart!
East wind came, as she sommoned.
Eleanor who was a 23-year-old girl, she was a beautiful young lady with blonde hairs. She recalled all excellent gentlemen that she had ever met in the past overall years, when she considered to begin a relationship. There were thirty excellent gentlemen, who would be lining up for her affection.
She remembered her fellow partner in primary school, who shared the same desk, and also shared the precious and wild childhood with her. She used to be a wild girl, who often climbed up an oak tree, which rooted by the playground. The higher she stood, the nicer view she could see from the tree.
She remembered her fellow classmate in senior high school, who secretly had a crush on her, when she was a 16-year-old girl in the age with curiosity for affection. She was gonna begin a relationship with him during those competitive and stressful years, but she had to consider what's the best for each other's future.
She remembered her fellow classmate in college, who wrote love letters to her with affection one piece by another piece in everyday. She admired his romantic soul, and understood his affectionate heart filled with affection to her. Affection was definitely desirable, but money was absolutely indispensable.
She was gonna begin a relationship with one of them, but she didn't know someone might be her future partner. She took out all love letters written by her college friend, read them at the window one piece by another piece, and felt his affection to her, that laid in each line, and in each word.
Suddenly, her love letter was stolen by a sudden east wind, which was a skillful thief, that carried her love letter from spot to spot. She chased after her love letter from spot to spot, as if her love letter was the ticket to love. She chased after her love letter along St Louis, and reached Lethe Tea Restaurant.
Eleanor: Excuse me! I think my letter was blown into your restaurant. May I come in to get my letter, please?
Aurora: Welcome in!
Eleanor: Thank Godness! I'm so terrified of losing my letter! I just get in to get my letter, and then get out. I won't disturb your business.
Eleanor was brought in Lethe Tea Restaurant by a sudden east wind, which carried away her love letter given by her college friend. She felt a little thirty, when she had been out of energy after the long run from St Louis to this place. She picked up her love letter, put it in her pocket, and sat down at the table.
Eleanor: Hey boss! May I have a glass of tea?
Aurora: Of course! What do you want to drink?
Eleanor: Just give me a glass of green tea, please!
Aurora: May I ask you a question, before I could offer you a glass of green tea.
Eleanor: Surely! Any questions?
Aurora: Do you have someone to forget?
Eleanor: I beg your pardon!
Aurora: Do you have someone to forget? I mean you should have someone to forget, before I could offer you a glass of green tea.
Eleanor: I don't know how could that be relative to my personal relationship.
Aurora: Lethe Tea Restaurant serves lethe tea only. I mean lethe tea is a general classification, it includes all kinds of tea combined with lethe water, which might take away a part of your memories. You would forget someone you couldn't forget, when you drank lethe tea, even if you just sipped a little bit of it. Here's the one million-dollar question. Do you have someone to forget?
Eleanor: Yes, I do. I want to forget a college friend, who wrote love letters to me with affection one piece by another piece in everyday. I admired his romantic soul, and understood his affectionate heart filled with affection to me. But I think the affection between us shall remain as the affection between sister and brother.
Aurora: Well then. I could offer you a glass of green tea, but the price is a tale of your love story. You would forget someone you loved most, and also forget your love story. In case you don't find back your lost memories. May I know a tale of your love story?
Eleanor: Surely!
Aurora poured a glass of lethe water in the glass, added an enchanted green tea and some ice cubes, and gently shook the glass to balance the hue of green tea. She laid this glass of green tea at the table, listening to Eleanor's love story.
Eleanor: When hydrangea blossomed over campus, a butterfly lingered around flower, a college boy lingered around a girl, and that's how a relationship between us began. He wrote love letters to me with affection one piece by another piece in everyday, and he was always expecting me to reply one love letter. But I didn't know how to group my words, and how to compose those words into a love letter. He was too cowardly to express his affection, and I was too terrified of spoiling this delicate relationship. I was gonna begin a relationship, but my future partner would be somebody else.
Eleanor left Lethe Tea Restaurant with a strange relief. She forgot her college friend, who wrote love letters to her with affection one piece by another piece in everyday. Perhaps she would wonder someone wrote these letters, but she would never have flipped for his affection again, that laid in each line and in each word.
Who wrote love letters to her with affection one piece by another piece in everyday?
What kind of man he was gonna be?
Aurora took out a set of tarot cards, selected three tarot cards randomly with curiosity, and predicted the answers what she wanted to know.
Aurora: It's a young boy with cowardliness and stupidity, who wrote love letters to her with affection one piece by another piece in everyday. Perhaps he was gonna be a dead man, when he was too cowardly to face with the sad future without her affection.
