Astral's Adventures

Sora raises his arms up ready to fight as Astral draws his blade and the two smile as they are back to back next to the fire. "Leave us alone and no one gets hurt." Astral announced to them as they crept past Tina and Lilac who hadn't awoken to fight. 'Good, stay resting, they are after us.'

Their silhouettes blended with the trees as Sora was tackled away from Astral in a blurb of light, Astral heard a silent whoosh as he passed by. Then came the next wave, their dark green and gray camouflage skin tight suits blended them right in outside of one. Wearing a black and orange sweatshirt with a zipper and a set of black tight pants. "Death Cat, I presume?" Astral pointed his blade at the cat as the ears were visible.

The others all had bushy black tails as they growled at Astral. "Now, play dead." Astral held his blade up below his eyes as he counted the amount of people attacking them. Seven of them, versus the two of Astral and Sora. The first two wolves lunged at Astral who deflected their attacks with elegant bladework. Moving their claw blades to strike each other rather than him.

Sora stood up from the attack as his arms were wrapped around a female with large wings, beating them fervently to free herself. She was grappled into immobility by Sora as he wrestled into control. Her white wings lifting the both off the ground.

Astral dealt with another wolf as it tried to attack from behind, only to lose an ear as a warning. His blade gilded around as smooth as the wind through the trees around them. Astral saw the ear hit the ground as he rushed at the cat. It backed up as each wolf pulled out shields. Blocking Astral from a forward path, pushing the attack back as he wanted it away from Tina and Lilac.

Astral sent a slash at each shield. Each of their blocks made them take three steps back. His power overwhelmed each and every one of them as the cat hopped over the shield blockade and slashed down at Astral, he blocked it with his golden shield leaving the cat behind him as the wolves were in front.

Astral took a sharp breath in as he shattered their shields in a single slice. They all dropped their broken pieces as Death Cat charged at Astral, each attack from his claws were parried with the shield from each direction. Each wolf tried to jump in only to be diced into small chunks. The cat slowly slowed down from shock of the power of this man. As the wolves were dead, Astral looked at the man. "I have a feeling those animals weren't normal animals." 

The cat hissed at him as he charged forward at Astral. Who blocked each blow with his shield as he put away his katana. Astral grabbed one wrist as he pushed the cat into the ground, restraining him onto the ground as the cat failed to struggle out of the grip of Astral.

Sora crashed onto the ground with a loud thud as he rolled around for a moment, having a hard time trying to get up as the lady with wings grabbed him by the collar and looked through the woods to find the other. She trotted along as Sora was limp with pain.

She found the two as Astral rested his blade on the back of the cat's neck. She gasped as she raised a dagger to the neck of Sora. "Let my brother go and you get your friend back."

"Its no use Angel, he is way too fast, even if you kill his friend, we both die." The cat muttered out.

"I thought a cat had your tongue, hmm? What makes you start talking now." Astral took two hairs off the back of his neck as Angel's wings fluttered in anger. Dropping Sora in an instant.

"Don't hurt my brother, he is all I have left." Angel slipped her dagger back into a small holster on her side. "James, what happened to the rest of the team."

Astral froze as he heard the name James, and Angel, something felt uneasy as Lilac and Tina run over and see the four of them standing around each other. They stayed silent as James slowly turned his head to his side. "What is your name?"

Astral stayed silent as he stood up. James flipped up and faced him as he recognized the face. "Astral, but where do I know you from?" James sat up as Astral walked over to the fire slowly as the rest looked at each other in confusion, the sun was finally set as the fire's glow was the only light they had.

"I don't get it, I don't know who I am or why I feel obligated to ignore you two." Astral grabbed a bowl of soup as he sat down in front of the tent. "The two of you are not of my memories." James felt hurt as he thought of foggy things and times. Angel tilted her head to the side as Tina sat in her lap.

"Well, this is quite the scene, the Death Cat brought to a silent standstill." Lilac whispered to herself as both Sora and James heard her, they glared at her as she misunderstood what was truly happening.

"Everything feels so hollow." Astral finished his bowl of soup as he sat still. James rested his head onto Astral as Astral paid it no mind. "I have very few memories, and all that I do have is me mindlessly training in a white void." James knew he was talking about the pocket dimension as Sora nodded his head.

"How much do you two know about me?" Astral asked the twins.

"The thing I remember most recently is waking up in an icy castle bed. And that felt like years ago." Angel looked over. "I have no childhood, no memories, only the knowledge of combat like yourself." James stayed silent as he had no words for either of them.

"Looks like we both have a goal to reverse our amnesia." Astral looked over to her as he outstretched his arm to his right and scratched her scalp. She lightly cooed as Astral kept going, feeling joy for the first time since he woke up.

"Astral, if you think resting may ease your mind, and maybe find a counter spell to the amnesia, you should go for it." Sora butted into the situation as Tina fell asleep inside of Angel's arms, as Lilac's eyes grew drowsy.

"That. Sounds, like it could go very well or terribly." Astral slowly stood up. Lilac wandered over to the tent as she crawled in slowly. Astral picked up Tina as she was out cold. "I will also be teaching this one all the magic I can." Astral crawled into the tent with Tina in his arms as she was in the middle of Astral and Lilac.
