Astral's Adventures

"THEY ARE ALIVE, I REPEAT THEY ARE ALIVE!" Achilles shouted as he looked at the labored breath the twins were taking. Achilles looked around as he looked around for any other signs of Adam or Jaimie. "I NEED THE FASTEST EVACUATION SHUTTLE ON MY POSITION!"

A Viper jet appeared next to them. The hatch popped open. "If they can make the trip we may just save their lives." Alice picked up Angel with the most gentle amount of care as Achilles scooped up James. The two walked carefully to the fighter as they looked at the pilot.

"I trust you. If either of them die, its on you." Achilles looked at him with a glare as Viper Seventeen gulped. They set the twins down in the cockpit as they backed away from the jet flying off.

"Doctor Ander's you have an emergency call." A doctor stood at the doorway of her office, several pieces of paper were everywhere like a tornado ripping through a town.

"But why did he lose control over himself, were their powers not enough, what was the explosion." Anders was lost in thought.

"ANDERS!" Airsoft shouted through the communication device as she paused. "WE HAVE THE TWINS, PRIORITY ALPHA!" Anders was shocked by the alerts as Anders pointed at the doorway as her and the doctor started to sprint down one of the hallways to get to the room prepared for this situation.

Airsoft looked into the city as Zeta was walking past all of the evacuation efforts, refusing to help. "Zeta, what do you feel?" Hawaii asked gently as she rode on the other shoulder.

"Something is out of place." The statement came quick as the city became barren. No signs of life were left as they came across a dead body. Their first one the entire trip. "Callsign: Artist."

Airsoft hopped down and sprinted to the body, fully intact and in one piece, a golden feeling loomed over it as Zeta and Hawaii caught up. "I NEED ANOTHER SHUTTLE ON ME, NO TIME TO WASTE!" Airsoft rolled Adam's body over as it was lifeless. His body was uncovered as everything was showing, his newly found muscles compared to a fuller body.

Hawaii looked down at the two as a shuttle was coming down. "Adam had acne and he does not. Is it a trap?"

"Do we have much of a choice?" Airsoft heaved him up, feeling no pulse, and no breathing as he entered the shuttle, Zeta shifted down into his android form as he and Hawaii entered the transport and rushed to the Merle.

"Achilles, you and Alice are the last members on the planet. All callsigns and tags are gone, once you leave we are blowing the planet to pieces." Merle communicated to them as Achilles tracked the fighting across the city, replaying it in his mind as they stumbled across Jaimie.

Her normal hair turned into a golden blonde with dark and light red streaks. "I FUCKING KNEW THAT MAN HAD ONE THING LEFT UP HIS SLEEVE!" Achilles felt the golden aura around her as Alice checked the pulse. "Airsoft, does Anders have room for another priority alpha?"

"I don't know, I found one of my own. No pulse." 

"No breathing, I know, but how is it even possible?" Achilles asked as a shuttle landed next to them. Alice and Achilles hoisted up Jaimie as they boarded the shuttle. Being the last ones aboard the Merle.

"Shut down all pathways that would show any other soldiers that Jaimie and Adam are dead, where are those fucking AI's! Airsoft, Indiana and Achilles, to the southern bridge, priority alpha is located there." Anders gave the command as she was helped by both remaining Viper pilots helped with putting James and Angel into the Alpha pods.

"Deal." Achilles landed as he picked up Jaimie as Alice escorted him to the southern bridge as Hawaii and Airsoft went to the south bridge with Adam. Indiana found Proto and Omaha and took them away to the southern bridge as he put Carolina in charge of looking after the other three members of the dogpound.

Once they arrived Anders looked around and summoned two medical tables as the doors slammed shut behind them. "No one else will know outside of these inside of this room and the two in the northern bridge. Zeta knows, but with his programming, he is to go into a lockdown mode in order to not disobey orders."

Murmurs filled the room as the pods on the wall became vertical. Anders pointed at James and Angel. Tubes connected to their bodies all around them, their shredded clothing dissolving inside of the liquid allowing them to hover. "Those two have a pulse, with their breathing they will stay inside of the medical coma until Astral inputs his personal code to allow the hatch at the top to open."

"So they are locked inside safely even if they become healthy?" Indy looked at the pod as Anders scanned over Jaimie and Adam one last time.

"Does anyone else have Astral's code?" Achilles looked at the doctor as she nodded in disapproval. She motioned for the two Viper pilots to help her put the other two in the pods, everyone else was still stunned at the fact these actions happened.

"All I can say about these two is the liquid will preserve them perfectly. They won't decay and the tubing will repair any body damage and keep the bodies fresh." Anders shivered in disgust at what she was doing.

"What does that mean for the rest of us?" Proto spoke up as Airsoft lightly smacked him. "I deserve that." The room went quiet for a moment as Anders tapped the console table.

"If any of the AI were helping I could pinpoint what happened and more concrete things. However." Anders played the ending of the fight of Adam and Titan. "Adam died, his body was seperated from his head and you found him in one solid piece." they all were startled by the gorey scene being played in front of them as Viper three ducked her head into Seventeen.

"What I can say for certain, is that Jaimie also died, in a different manner, but her hair is the only thing that changed compared to Adam. And it all relates to that burst from Astral. All those colors mean what?" Anders was panicking as Airsoft motioned for her to sit down as they stopped the footage of the Adam fight.

"So we should track down those colors that went all over the place?" Airsoft looked around to the rest of them. "All agreed?"

A knock was heard on the door as Achilles and Airsoft ignored it. The door slammed open as Astrid folded it open. Zane was being carried by Pete and Sal while the man with the mask was with them.
