Accompanied by a gentle breeze and falling leaves, Arthur gazed at the cityscape and contemplated the life awaiting him at the academy! It seemed the "artificial intelligence" and its system had reached an agreement!

"Uncle, is the journey from the village to the city far?" Arthur asked curiously!
"The distance isn't too great, but it still takes about 2 hours by horse-drawn carriage!" replied Uncle Jack while making rough calculations!
Truthfully, the concept of time wasn't widely understood in this era! So to help Uncle Jack comprehend, Arthur had previously explained timekeeping using a "sundial " to estimate how many hours remained until the sun reached its zenith! Now Uncle Jack could roughly gauge the passage of time!
"That's quite a distance then! I think I'll take a nap first!" Arthur said, feigning exhaustion!
"But you just woke up! Though I suppose that makes sense - you may seem more mature than your age, but you're still just a child!" Uncle Jack chuckled in amusement!
What Uncle Jack didn't know... Arthur wasn't actually sleeping at all! He had entered his subconscious space to continue the discussion he'd postponed that morning with his two other consciousnesses: his "system" and the "artificial intelligence" from the pendant he now wore!
"Hey, so you chose to take the form of a dwarf? Is there any particular reason?" Arthur inquired with interest!
"So you've finally arrived! And yes, I have good reason for this form! As I mentioned before, I'm not just for storing items—I can also forge spirit weapons with unique forms and special abilities!" the "artificial intelligence" declared proudly! (From now on, we'll call it "Master Dwarf"!)
"Indeed," the System interjected calmly, "we've already discussed and reached an agreement!"
"An agreement? About what?" Arthur grew even more curious!
"About combining our capabilities! As you know, we can only communicate when you enter this subconscious space! But by merging, you could communicate with me anytime without needing to come here! Though... we're still missing one crucial element!"
"What is it? That sounds amazing! But what's still missing? Could it be that paper I left behind in my hurry this morning?" Arthur asked eagerly!
"No, not that! There's something far more important... your permission as our host! And don't be surprised—there's an additional benefit to merging us! If we combine, all the pendant's storage and weapon-forging functions would transfer to this subconscious space! Meaning even if you lost the pendant... IT WOULDN'T MATTER AT ALL!" Master Dwarf proclaimed triumphantly!
