Angel of darkness : celestial seraphyne

Chapter 1: The betrayed one

"I, the King of Angels, sentence Mana Noctis to death for starting a rebellion."

Mana stood frozen. What?

"Father, I didn't start any rebellion!" she cried out.

But it didn't matter. His sword had already been drawn.

You want to know how I ended up like this?

Well… betrayal. My eleven siblings turned on me—every single one.....wait i have 11 siblings damnn the king and queen must love eachother very well . You ask how? Because I was the chosen one, the next in line for the throne. Apparently, being good at everything makes people real salty.

I was too trusting. I believed they were loyal. I was wrong.

Whish!

Everything went black.

---

I opened my eyes… and found two unfamiliar faces staring at me.

Wait. Wait a second.

Are those... the Duchess and Duke Seraphyne?

Oh no. This is…

A reincarnation story?!

No Truck-kun this time.

Instead, I got obliterated by Holy Sword-kun.

Classy.

And then… everything faded again.

Sleep mode: activated.

Author's Note:

Okay, nobody wants five chapters of baby Celestial saying "goo-goo-ga-ga," so we're skipping to when she's 10 and things actually get interesting. You're welcome 😌.

---

The Wing Ceremony.

Basically, the angel version of Hogwarts sorting—but way shinier.

White wings? Sorry. You're cute, but mid.

White + Pink? Decent.

White + Gold? Talent alert.

White + Black? You're a walking celestial nuke. We love that.

---

"CELES! GIVE ME BACK MY STAFF!!"

My mom was chasing my 80-year-old brother around the house with a slipper. Like a true angelic queen ✋🏻✨.

Meanwhile, my big sister Evelyn was behind me, gently braiding my hair.

"Aww, our baby Celestial. You're going to outshine the heavens today," she cooed.

Then Dad appeared out of literal thin air like a video game NPC.

"Let's go."

I blinked. "Where's Austin?"

Mom (Sally): "Already at the ceremony."

Dad (Thomas): "...Okay."

---

At the altar hall, all the royal families sat up front—including my old family.

The ones who literally murdered me.

I ignored them like yesterday's garbage and sat down beside my real family.

Only two ten-year-olds this year were eligible:

Albert Noctis, my ex-nephew (bleh), and nora.

Albert went first.

"Place your hand on the Divine Altar," the priest said.

FWOOSH!

White and gold light blazed into the sky. The crowd gasped.

Only 2 to 4 angels out of a thousand ever get that combo.

Albert looked like he'd already won.

Then came Nora Noctis—white and gold again.

Now Albert looked like someone had handed him second place before he even finished smiling.

Then it was my turn.

"Celestial Seraphyne. Step forward."

I did.

I placed my hand on the altar.

BOOM.

The entire hall exploded in white and black light.

Gasps. Silence. Eyes widened.

Only a few angels in all history had ever manifested that combo.

My parents? Radiant with pride.

My siblings? Clapping like maniacs.

Albert? He looked like he just swallowed a cactus.

As for my old backstabber siblings?

Speechless.

Love that for them.

---

Back home, Dad sat me down.

"You've got two years to prepare for Angel Academy," he said.

"It's a hundred-year program. No pressure. You'll need to master flight, aether control, diplomacy, combat, and… look good doing it."

Then he smiled like he was about to throw me into the wild with nothing but a stick and a protein bar.

We had a party that night.

No guests. No neighbors.

Why?

Because we're introverts.

And also because last time we invited people, they brought cursed cupcakes.
