An OP Character in Naruto

"It's been a while since I've been here. I wonder how everyone is doing now," a familiar voice said, standing at the entrance of Konoha. Clad in a black and orange jumpsuit, Naruto was unfazed by the heat as he entered the village. His eyes were filled with nostalgia and excitement as he looked around, taking in the sights of his home once more.

Behind him followed one of the Sannin, Jiraiya, who was chatting with Kakashi. "It's been a while since I went there. Let's go to Ichiraku Ramen," Naruto called to the two behind him enthusiastically, striding forward with energy.

As he walked, Naruto spotted a kunoichi whose distinctive forehead was instantly recognizable. "S-Sakura!" Naruto exclaimed, his voice filled with surprise and joy. He let out an "Oh wow" as if he were looking at a celebrity.

"Naruto. You've grown taller," Sakura gasped, equally surprised. They exchanged heartfelt smiles as they reminisced about old times. As they continued their walk, they ran into Konohamaru and Tsunade, catching up on all that had happened since Naruto had been away.

The day seemed to fly by as Naruto reconnected with his friends. Before he knew it, the next day arrived. Naruto, Kakashi, and Sakura roamed the streets of Konoha. "Right, I still haven't gone to Ichiraku's. Hey, how about Kakashi-sensei treats us?" Naruto suggested, but Kakashi just waved him off, not in the mood.

Bummed that Kakashi blew them off, Naruto stood there for a second until they saw some familiar faces approaching. "Hey! Shikamaru! Temari! Look who's back," Sakura called out.

"Huh? Wait, Naruto, is that you?" Shikamaru said, his eyes widening in recognition.

"Shikamaru!" Naruto exclaimed, beaming.

"You look different. It's like you got smarter or something," Shikamaru teased, causing Naruto to slump in mock defeat.

"Anyway, what's with you two? On a date or something?" Naruto asked, approaching Shikamaru.

"Not a chance," Shikamaru replied with a smirk.

"Hey, Naruto, long time no see," a familiar voice called out behind them. Naruto turned to see two shinobi walking together.

"Wait. Daniel!" Naruto gasped. "Woah, you've changed," he said, taking in Daniel's new appearance. Aside from being taller, with hair in cornrows and a fade, Daniel was now wearing an outfit reminiscent of Goku Black's attire, his ninja band on his right arm, and his hair and eyes a striking green.

"Woah, almost didn't recognize you. And are you guys..." Naruto began, still in shock. "So Ino is your taste, huh?" he said to Daniel.

"And what's wrong with that, huh?" Ino snapped, just like Sakura, bashing Naruto's head.

"Anyway, it's been a while, hasn't it?" Ino said, smiling.

"Yeah, sure," Naruto replied, rubbing his head. "Man, why are women so scary?" he muttered.

"I know, right? They're such a drag," Shikamaru agreed.

"Hey, let me ask you something quick," Naruto said. "I heard all the others are chunin now. Is that true?"

"Actually, not quite," Daniel replied. Naruto smiled, thinking he hadn't been completely left behind.

"Me and Neji actually got promoted twice. We're Jonin, although Neji became one first," Daniel added, causing Naruto to feel left behind once more.

"But, hey, when did you two start going out?" Naruto asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

"Anyway, it was nice meeting you," Ino said, pulling Daniel away.

"Oh, right. That reminds me, Naruto..." Sakura began, but was interrupted as a person came along with Kakashi. "Sai!" she exclaimed.

"Huh? Who's that?" Naruto wondered.

"This is Sai. He will be temporarily assigned as our teammate for the time being," Sakura explained. Upon hearing this, Naruto didn't know what to say, clearly not okay with it.

"Hi, I'm..." Sai tried to introduce himself, but Naruto just walked past him, heading towards the Hokage's office, probably to complain to Tsunade.

At a flower shop in Konoha, Daniel and Ino were suddenly interrupted as a shinobi appeared near-instantly. "Lady Hokage is calling for you," he said. Though a little bummed that their time was cut short, Daniel knew it was important.

During the past months, Daniel had focused on training and straightening matters with Konoha, including getting rid of the dummy Danzo and addressing the Hyuga techniques inquiries. He had also taken on some menial missions. Despite being occupied, he had sorted things out. Three months ago, he and Ino had started dating.

Back to the story, at the mission assignment desk, Tsunade and Daniel waited as Team Guy and Team Seven arrived, with Sai already in the mix. Daniel figured he'd just put Sai with Team Seven, giving him an ordinary shinobi life.

"Hey, Granny Tsunade, what's up with this Sai guy?" Naruto barged in.

"You're late, Kakashi. Seems I beat you this time," Guy said, turning around at Naruto's antics. The mood in the room threw Naruto off, sensing something was up.

"Whatever queries you have, save them for another time. We have something more important to discuss," Tsunade said.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Naruto asked, confused.

"We've received word of..." Iruka began to explain, but was interrupted as a kunoichi came rushing in, wearing a nervous expression. "Lady Fifth, it's terrible!" she yelled.

"Keep it down. Can't you see we're having a discussion?" Tsunade remarked. The kunoichi tensed up, but spoke softly, knowing the importance of the news she carried.

"Y-Yes, ma'am! But you see... We've received news from the Hidden Sand. It appears that the Kazekage has been kidnapped by the Akatsuki," she said, causing everyone in the room to tense up.

Tsunade bashed the table in anger. "Damn it! We were a step too late," she said, waving at the kunoichi to dismiss her. She stroked her head, thinking. "We had received notice that some members of the Akatsuki were heading to the Hidden Sand and wanted to dispatch you all to assist the Sand in fighting them, but it seems we'll have to change our plans," she explained. "I'll be assigning you all to assist the Sand in this matter," Tsunade concluded, her tone resolute.
