AmieZiel — A Incomplete Love Story

Chapter 14: Chapter 11 :Healed, But Never Whole

Amie unlocked his door and stepped inside his house. The door closed behind him, but he didn't latch it—almost as if even he wasn't ready to shut himself off completely.

By then, Kiara had reached his door. She thought of knocking for a moment, but instead, walked straight in—and there he was, standing right in front of her.

From behind, Amie had heard Kiara's breath—hurried, uneven, as she rushed in. He turned toward her.

A thin line of blood was trickling from just above his eyebrow, seeping through his hair. A few buttons on his shirt were still hanging loose, torn, and in one hand he held a white cloth, already stained with soaked-in blood.

"Are you okay?" Kiara asked softly, as though even her voice was bruised by the sight.

Amie replied with calm composure,

"Yes, I'm fine."

Kiara asked,

"What happened? How did this all happen?"

Amie didn't respond.

Looking directly at him, Kiara said,

"Let me see. I need to look at it."

She raised her hands toward his face, wanting to examine the injury.

But Amie stopped her hand before she could touch him, and for a second, their eyes met again. His resistance made her hesitate. In that moment, she realized just how deeply she had begun to dream for him.

"Please let me see... you're hurt badly."

"I said I'm fine. And anyway, you don't—" Amie was about to say more when Naaz entered, carrying the first-aid kit with her.

It was the first time Amie really looked at Naaz, since she always kept her face wrapped in a scarf.

"You both shouldn't have come here," he said firmly. "I'm used to this... and you two should go home now."

With that, he turned away, walked over to the sink, and stared at himself in the mirror. He began rinsing the blood from his face with cold water.

And the two girls stood there, watching.

Naaz looked at Kiara and, with a slight gesture, asked what they should do next. And then suddenly, her eyes fell on the mirror—and in the reflection, she noticed a deep wound on Amie's chest.

"Listen, Amie," Kiara said in a calm, gentle tone,

"Let us help you. You're seriously hurt, and this needs to be treated. Please don't be stubborn without reason."

"Look, we just want to help. And besides, don't forget—we still owe your favor."

Amie understood now that they weren't going to leave. He was slowly becoming familiar with Kiara's way of handling things, and after a moment of silent resistance, he finally gave in.

Naaz handed the first-aid kit to Kiara and motioned for Amie to sit on the chair. She then began preparing the supplies.

Kiara kept her tone soft.

"That's all. I just need to clean the wound."

As she applied a bit of iodine, she asked,

"Does it hurt?"

Amie didn't respond.

Kiara said nothing more. She simply picked up a fresh piece of cotton, gave a faint smile, and asked—

"How did this happen? Were those guys the ones who did it?"

Amie stayed silent again. Kiara didn't ask any more questions after that.

Naaz, meanwhile, couldn't stop her eyes from drifting again and again toward the wound on his chest. After quite some time, she finally spoke up,

"There's an injury on your chest too... that needs dressing as well."

Kiara suddenly noticed it and gasped,

"Oh no, this one looks bad. You didn't go to the hospital?" she asked, startled. But then, almost immediately, she remembered—Amie wasn't answering.

Kiara said firmly,

"Take off your shirt."

Amie looked at Kiara... then at Naaz. It was clearly an awkward moment for him.

Naaz gave him a small, silent nod, signaling that he should do as Kiara said.

He hesitated for a few seconds, then slowly removed his shirt.

His body was well-balanced—lean and masculine. His abs were slightly visible, forming a neat V-shape, and his chest was mildly defined. His skin looked unusually clean and smooth and with some scar and marks.

For a moment Kiara lost her sense while seeing him.

Kiara saw the wound—it was deep. She paused for a moment, then began cleaning and dressing it.

But Naaz was watching him closely. On his body, she noticed another scar—one that had already healed, but the mark still remained. A long, prominent scar just beneath his ribs.

While Naaz was looking at him, for a few seconds, it felt like a moment of hypnosis—like she was caught in a quiet trance without even realizing it.

Now Naaz lost in deep thought, a strange kind of restlessness stirring inside her.

It was for Kiara.

What mattered now was to know everything about this guy—because now, her mind could think of every possible positive and negative angle, and that's exactly what she was doing.

Kiara finished the dressing and wrapped a large cotton bandage over his body.

"There, done! That's all it was," she said.

"Alright, we'll get going now. Take care of yourself... and if you need anything, just let us know."

With that, the two of them started to leave when Amie spoke from behind,

"you've cleared your debt now, Don't do such things next time" He pauses for a second

"This wasn't really necessary... but anyway, thanks."

Kiara turned and said in a playful tone,

"Is that a thank you, or a threat?"

And she laughed.

Amie smiled too.
