America Tycoon: The Wolf of Showbiz

Chapter 830: Trash Sees Everyone as Trash_2

He said, "Elena told me if you have time, you can pick a day each month to go back and see her, she'll try her best to have Harris, Holle, and Lily come over too."

"I will," Scott's eyes widened as he asked, "Lily has always been in Los Angeles, you idiot and bastard, did you do something with my youngest daughter?"

Martin's first reaction was to deny it, but in the end, he chose silence.

Scott infuriatedly said, "I knew it, I fuckin' knew it, you bastard came here leeching off me back in the day, and it wasn't just Elena you were after!"

"Don't make false accusations!" Martin forcefully retorted this time.

"Fine, you say it isn't so!" Scott demanded, "First Elena, now Lily, how do you explain that?"

Martin spread his hands and simply stopped talking altogether.

Scott was still very angry, "When you were in your teens, I always knew, you were the same kind of bastard as Jack Davis! Alright, you're a bit better than that scumbag Jack Davis. Jack Davis ran off with my wife and never gave a dime, but you..."

He sighed, seemingly helpless, "You changed the fate of the Carter family."

Martin heard these two names that were so distant he had almost forgotten, "Have you heard anything about Emma and Jack?"

Scott bluntly said, "I never deliberately inquire. Dead would be best."

He snorted coldly, "Even if Emma came back, a woman who's been with so many black men, who could accept her?"

No news was good news, and Martin had never deliberately searched for them, either.

Hart ran over and dragged Martin back for more drinks.

Using the phrase most often used by celebrities, Martin had recently made a bit too much money, and the pressure from work was a bit too much, so the only way to destress was through alcohol, toasting and drinking with old friends, resulting in him being nearly drunk when he left.

Fortunately, he still maintained his basic sense, not repeating the words he had shouted in front of Leonardo and Nicholson.

Bruce sent Martin to Elena's place.

Once at Elena's home, Martin let go of all his inhibitions, loudly proclaiming he would lead an army of beauties to flatten Washington.

Elena, looking at the drunkard and fool, asked, "You idiot, who are in your U.S. Army forces?"

"The legion commander is you!" Martin, sitting on the couch, didn't look drunk at all from the outside, instead looking very serious.

However, he was spouting nonsense, "Then, the saintly maidens from the Cola Cult will act as deputy commanders..."

Elena asked, "Who are they? Is Lily one of them?"

"Flatten Washington! Take over the White House!" Martin shouted, "Dissolve the United States Federal Government!"

"You're such a bastard..." cursed Elena.

Martin babbled on as if he had annihilated America, ecstatically losing himself.

Elena got so angry she twisted a few handles before she felt satisfied.

Not long after, Martin's nonsensical rambling stopped, and a different kind of sound filled the room.

...

Los Angeles, Burbank.

Charlotte Kirk returned home from the airport and immediately called Kevin Tsujihara, scheduling to meet him the next day and mentioned it was about a crucial discovery concerning Martin Davis.

Kevin Tsujihara readily agreed, arranging to meet at the usual place tomorrow noon.

The next morning, Charlotte Kirk carefully applied makeup, changed into a skirt that accentuated her figure, and organized the critical documents she had brought back from Atlanta.

These were note-like notebooks of Martin's activities during the filming period that Charlotte had personally witnessed, but there wasn't anything noteworthy.

Some of it was based on her conjecture and speculation.

But written in the notebook, it seemed as if she had seen it all herself.

Originally, Charlotte had intended to specifically mention which parts were conjecture, but the peeping incident that happened in Atlanta made her change her mind.

Kevin Tsujihara wasn't a good bird, and Martin Davis was even worse.

What normal person would install such surveillance equipment in their own trailer?

Such perverted behavior could only be done by a paranoid wreck!

Charlotte packed the notebook, got out the door, changed shoes in the car, and drove straight to the Burbank Hotel.

Behind her, Ivan drove after her, simultaneously waking his partner in the same car.

"The target has left," he reminded, "Make sure to take photos."

On the passenger seat, Luke, with his blonde hair, opened his eyes, wiped his face with a wet wipe, and took a few snaps with his camera.

The BMW didn't go far before it turned into the underground parking lot of the Burbank Hotel.

Following at a distance of two cars, Ivan drove down and quickly parked in an available spot.

Luke pointed towards the diagonal side, "She's gotten out of the car."

Charlotte emerged from the red BMW and walked towards the elevators.

Luke kept snapping pictures.

Seeing more people making their way to the elevator, Ivan picked up a briefcase, opened the car door, and got out, "I'll go check it out, you stay sharp."

Luke gave a salute gesture.

Ivan entered the elevator with three other people, catching it just as it arrived.

As the rest entered the elevator, he appeared to look at his phone but sneakily noticed that Charlotte pressed for the seventh floor.

When the elevator reached the seventh floor, Charlotte sashayed out.

Ivan got off at the eighth floor, entered the nearby emergency exit, and quickly descended to the seventh floor, he glanced at the previous elevator, now ascending to the tenth floor.

Ivan was experienced; Charlotte coming to the hotel meant she was certainly meeting someone, and now that she had arrived, particularly on the suite floor, it meant the person she was meeting would arrive shortly or had already arrived.
