Am I a mutant in soul land?

Chapter 87: Lanba Team vs Spirit Hall Team

Zhu Zhuqing leaned against the window, arms folded, her cool gaze fixed on Tang Yin as the revelation he made began to spiral through her mind. She found it really hard to believe.

He could see the conflict hidden beneath her silence, yet he still decided to speak, hoping to lift the heavy shadow of misunderstanding she'd been carrying

"It seems your sister still loves you," Tang Yin said softly. "What she did… it was selfish, yes—but not without reason. She was trying to protect you. And maybe herself, too."

He paused, his eyes watching her carefully, as if weighing every flicker of emotion on her face.

"When you fought her, I didn't sense hatred. There was no killing intent. If anything… she looked relieved when you defeated her."

Zhu Zhuqing turned to face him, her mask of composure cracking. "Are you sure, Tang Yin? Zhuyun… she doesn't hate me? Then what do I even do now? How can I even help her?"

Tang Yin gave her a warm, reassuring smile. "I'm fairly certain. And if you want to save her, you'll have to grow stronger. I'll help you—but you can't confront her just yet. When the time is right, I'll take you to the Xing Luo Empire myself. Alright?"

Zhu Zhuqing blinked back tears, her voice barely a whisper as she nodded. For the first time in years, the weight on her heart began to lift. Her sister hadn't hated her. She'd been protecting her—from Dai Weisi, and from the cruel fate that had bound them both.

Zhuqing promised herself she would return the favor, no matter what.

The Next Day

Tang Yin sat at the center of the lodge, an air of quiet authority around him. Meng Yiran and Ning Rongrong stood close by, practically orbiting him like twin moons—one calm and elegant, the other impatient and fiery.

Zhuqing was more cheerful than ever as she stood behind Tang Yin. Winning the grand final meant resources—maybe even a powerful soul bone. More importantly, it brought her one step closer to saving her sister. The fog in her heart had been lifted; now, she had a purpose.

Opposite Tang Yin stood Ye Lingling and Dugu Yan, both listening attentively. Meanwhile, Tai Long scratched his head, visibly struggling to keep up with the rapid-fire explanation.

"Alright, Tai Long," Tang Yin motioned toward him, "your job is simple—keep Li Kai at bay. He's a power-attack-type at level 48. But You? You're built like a fortress; hold your ground and stall him as long as you can."

Tai Long blinked. "Got it... I think."

Tang Yin nodded and turned to Meng Yiran. "You'll be up against Zhan Ping—flight type, agility system. I think you already know what to do don't you? clip her wings."

Meng Yiran twirled her dragon cane with a smirk. "Easy work."

"Dugu Yan," Tang Yin continued, his tone turning a shade more serious, "you'll be facing Xie Yue. He's tough—but with your fourth and fifth soul skills, and the techniques I taught you, you should be fine. You've mastered the variant skill, right?"

Dugu Yan flashed a smug grin. "Of course I have. I will give you a big surprise hehe.."

"Perfect." Tang Yin then spoke to Zhu Zhuqing without turning his head—he knew she was listening. "Zhuqing, you'll be handling that Sun Chuantao. He's another power-attack type, but with your speed, it shouldn't be an issue."

Zhu Zhuqing gave a slight nod "I will take him on don't worry!"

Tang Yin grinned. "As for me, I'll deal with their auxiliary support instantly. That clears the stage for everyone else. Lingling, Rongrong—just focus on support and cover. Keep the new formation intact and help only when needed."

Ye Lingling nodded obediently.

Ning Rongrong, however, scoffed and crossed her arms. "What? You don't think I can fight, Tang Yin? I could wipe the floor with any support-type out there! Hmph. And you're seriously going to fight three people alone?"

Tang Yin chuckled. "Not exactly three. I'll eliminate their support first—then I'll duel both Yan and Hu Liena."

He leaned forward, a confident glint in his eye. "Don't worry. I've got this."

Tap! Tap!

Liu Erlong walked in without bothering to knock, a playful smile on her beautiful face.

"You guys ready?" she asked.

Tang Yin shot her a grin. "Yup! Let's go."

As he passed Liu Erlong, he gave her a playful smack on her perky butt and smirked smugly,

"Hope you're ready for that surprise reward you promised yesterday."

Liu Erlong blushed faintly, while the other girls shot Tang Yin an annoyed glance huffing in unison."Hmph, rogue Tang Yin!"

With that, the team rose as one and followed him—heading to the Sacred Temple once again, this time for the grand final match.

In front of the Sacred Temple, Liu Erlong, Zhao Wuji, and Flender came to a stop. Zhao Wuji stepped forward and cleared his throat.

Zhao Wuji began, his voice steady,"Everyone!"

"This is your final battle for Lanba Academy before you all graduate," the instructor said, his voice filled with pride. "Honestly, it's been an honor to guide geniuses like you."

He grinned, giving them all a nod.

"I wish you the best of luck."

With those final words, he turned and walked away, leaving the Lanba Team to face their last challenge of the tournament.

The team stepped into the Sacred Temple, returning to the same grand arena as before. In the stands, only Ning Fenzhi, Sword Douluo, and Xue Qinghe represented the Heaven Dou Empire. The rest of the audience consisted entirely of Martial Soul Hall spectators—

Bibi Dong stood tall in the VIP area, her regal presence unmistakable. Her piercing violet eyes locked onto the Lanba Team as they entered the arena. Her gaze lingered on one figure—Tang Yin.

He walked in with confidence and a charming smile that didn't waver under pressure. As he stepped forward, he bowed elegantly. Almost out of habit, Bibi Dong gave a slight nod.

Outside the Sacred Temple, Blazing Team, Tianshui Team, Godwind Team, xing Luo Imperial Team and others were waiting to find who would win between Lanba Team and Spirit Hall Team. Both Team were uneven but Lanba Team had a Wild card—Tang yin.

As the Lanba Team and Spirit Hall Team faced off, the atmosphere grew tense.

Yan smirked arrogantly at Tang Yin, clearly confident he could crush this pretty boy without breaking a sweat. Beside him, Hu Liena clenched her jaw, eyes narrowing at the ever-present smirk tugging at Tang Yin's lips.

"Yo! Lu Heina.., was it? Or something like that..." Tang Yin called out with a teasing grin.

"Don't worry, I won't beat you too badly. I don't usually hit girls hard—but that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you either. So don't try pleading for mercy, alright?"

Hu Liena's eyes widened in outrage.

She stepped forward, nearly lunging at him.

Who does this bastard think he is?! No one—

No one—had ever dared to talk to her like that.

Before she could charge, her brother grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back.

"He's messing with you, Nana," Xie Yue muttered, eyes narrowing as he studied Tang Yin. "Don't take the bait. He's crafty—and apparently immune to your charm, too."

Hu Liena froze, biting back her fury. Her chest rose and fell in short bursts, the glare she gave Tang Yin hot enough to burn.

But Tang Yin wasn't done.

"What? Didn't you ask me to transfer to Spirit Hall Academy because you were afraid to face me?" he said, tilting his head with mock innocence.

Then came the teasing grin came back again,

"Or was it really because you liked me?"

He gave an exaggerated, apologetic shrug,

"Sorry. I'm not interested… but hey, we can still be good friends."

Anger flared up instantly, and Xie Yue had to hold Hu Liena back from lunging at Tang Yin. She looked like a flushed pepper, her face burning bright red with embarrassment.

Hu Leina really regretted ever telling Tang yin, he could pursue her—her greatest mistake. Why had she even spoken to him in the first place? Blame oneself.

Bibi dong was having her fun while watching Hu Leina annoyed at Tang yin's provocation. She almost chuckled at the fiery hot pepper.

The paladin leader, announced "The Lanba Team! Enters the Grand final by obtaining the first place in Tian Duo. Throughout the finals, they've defeated many strong opponents successively. They've proved to all of us that they're eligible for the Grand final."

Lanba Team followed as Tang yin stepped in the arena,

"Spirit Hall Team! They have always been the champions for past consecutive Grand finals. Xie Yue, Hu Leina and Yan are the Youngest generation who obtained the Badge of purple record in history! They're known as the Golden generation of Spirit Hall Academy."

Spirit Hall Team followed as Hu Leina stepped in the arena,

The paladin leader flew up as he announced:

"The Grand Final round of The Continental Elite Young Soul Master Tournament begins!"

Hu Liena unwillingly kept her eyes on Tang Yin. No matter how much she tried to dismiss him, she couldn't deny it—

His profile was dangerously handsome, and as someone who was hopelessly face-controlled, Hu Leina found herself drawn in. There's no way he can resist me, she thought, biting her lip seductively as her second soul ring lit up.

"Second Soul Skill—Fox Charm~"

A wave of seductive spiritual energy rippled outward.

But Tang Yin didn't even flinch. His expression remained calm as his gaze briefly swept across his teammates.

Thanks to their training with the Purple Demon Eye, all the girls resisted the charm instantly. The technique had fortified their mental power, making them immune to such Soul skill.

Tai Long, however, began to sway slightly—his focus breaking. But in the next instant, Tang Yin reached out mentally and used Telepathy to stabilize his thoughts, shielding him from the skill's influence.

Hu Liena stared in disbelief.

How?!

Her charm skill was designed to target one of the five senses—sight, sound, touch, taste, or smell—overwhelming her opponent's mind through a triggered sense. And yet, even after activating it, none of them had been affected.

From the VIP stands, Bibi Dong narrowed her violet eyes with interest as her lips parted.

So this is the self-created technique Salas spoke of… What a remarkable skill. Cultivating their spiritual power to the point they can resist mental attacks—impressive. Such talent.

"Third Soul Skill—Soul Devouring Cage!"

Tang yin's Third soul ring lit up ominouly, as he instantly trapped the Seven of them in seven blood Red Cage. Everyone from the Spirit Hall Team were stunned—He can trap all of us? It means the cage must be weak, Right?

Nope—

They tried breaking free but their raw strength couldn't even budge the cage. Yan tried using his soul skill but his second and third skill only dented it a little—What the hell! How could it be so Strong?

Tang yin smiled smugly as his fourth Soul Ring glowed consecutively,

"Fourth Soul Skill—Black Serpent's Thorn!"

A whip-like vine impaled Xu Yu's legs before he could react. With a flick of Tang Yin's hand, he was hurled out of bounds—Spirit Hall's only support was eliminated. The Spirit Hall Team were down by one member.

Bibi Dong's gaze sharpened as she turned toward Salas, her voice dangerously calm.

"Salas… didn't you say Tang Yin's cage was only strong when trapping a single target? Then why is even Yan's second and third soul skills unable to break it?"

Salas stiffened, sweat breaking out across his forehead. The truth was—he hadn't taken any interest in studying Tang Yin's previous matches. He'd spent most of his time ogling women and abusing his authority.

He stammered, trying to salvage the situation.

"It… It wasn't this strong before, Your Majesty! He must have enhanced it somehow…"

A weak lie.

Bibi Dong didn't believe a word of it, but she remained silent. The skill was tenacious—but not invincible.

Yan gritted his teeth, forced to unleash one of his strongest skill to escape the tenacious cage. His fourth soul ring blazed with fierce light. He couldn't believe he had to use his trump card so soon.

"Fourth Soul Skill—Lord Berserk Transform!"

In an instant, flames surged around him as his body transformed into a fiery avatar of power. His raw strength doubled, and all of his soul skills received a 50% amplification for the next 10 minutes.

"Third Soul Skill—Fiery Bull's Strike!"

He struck twice—each punch resounding with explosive force—before the cage finally shattered. Without wasting time, he rushed to free the others.

But it had come at a cost.

Being trapped inside for just two minutes, they had already lost 15% of their soul power to the devouring effect. And Yan himself had suffered even more—over 30% drained, thanks to his reckless use of soul skills.

At that moment, Dugu Yan smirked coldly as her fifth soul ring lit up. A dense, blood-red mist surged across the arena.

"Fifth Soul Skill—Red Poison Cloud!"

The venomous fog blanketed the entire field, instantly lowering Spirit Hall Team's defense by 33%, while boosting Lanba Team's defense by 33% for a full thirty-three minutes.

"Damn it!" Hu Liena gritted her teeth. As a spiritual-type Soul King, her physical defense wasn't great to begin with—and now, it was even worse.

Xie Yue's face darkened. This fight just became a nightmare. With no support-type soul skills to counter the debuff, their side was in peril.

He clenched his jaw, cursing himself inwardly.

"I should've done more to protect Xu Yu… if he were still here, we could've turned this around. But what's the point of regretting spilled milk now?"

Hu Liena signaled to Xie Yue for a Martial Soul Fusion, but Dugu Yan acted even faster. Her fourth soul ring flared to life,

"Fourth Soul Skill—Black Mamba's Scale!"

Her Jade Phosphor Serpent was covered in sleek black scales, which it launched rapidly toward Xie Yue. He calmly deflected them with his twin moon blades—but the moment they were parried, the scales halted mid-air and curved back, attacking again with precision.

It was a variant technique, merging Controlling Crane Catching Dragon technique with her fourth soul skill. The scales were razor-sharp, highly durable, and under her precise control. She no longer needed to keep her third soul skill active—the scales would persist in battle for a long time.

Elsewhere, Zhu Zhuqing vanished in a blur and reappeared in front of Sun Chuantao, her glowing claws clashing against his Ring Blade. It was her own variant move, fusing Mysterious Jade Hand with all of her soul skill-enhanced strikes.

"First Soul Skill—Earth Dragon Lance!"

Meng Yiran's first soul ring glowed as she launched stone spears at Zhang Ping, a flight-type soul master. Zhang weaved through them with agile movements, narrowly deflecting a few with soul skills.

"Fourth Soul Skill—Earth Dragon's Release!"

Meng Yiran shaped the terrain into a massive earth dragon that launched stone spears at the airborne Zhang Ping. Meng yiran was grinning from ear to ear as she was clearly enjoying the fight to her heart's content.

Elsewhere—

"First Soul Skill—Strength Amplification!"

Tai Long roared forward, strengthened by Ning Rongrong's buffs, charging straight at Li Kai, who was bulging with muscles after fusing with his Black Horned Mountain Boar martial soul.

"Fourth Soul Skill—Fifteen Tons of Strength!"

Tai Long's power doubled for ten minutes, and thanks to the defense boost and Rongrong's support, he was overpowering Li Kai.

Overall, Lingling and Ning Rongrong worked in perfect sync, providing support and buffs from the backline. Zhuqing outmaneuvered Sun Chuantao with her agility. Dugu Yan pressured Xie Yue with her continuous attack. Meng Yiran overwhelmed Zhang Ping with her powerful soul skill, and Tai Long also steadily pushed back Li Kai with his strength.

From the VIP seats, Ning Fengzhi and Sword Douluo watched in awe. Even they hadn't expected such dominance in the Grand Final.

Xue Qinghe smirked as realization dawned:

"So they were holding back—only using their first and second skills to hone their instincts. No wonder they struggled before. Tang Yin may have overshadowed them, but every one of them is a genius."

Sword Douluo and Ning Fenzhi also nodded.

"They were tempering their will… preparing for finals precisely for this moment."

Bibi Dong, listening nearby, was astonished.

"To think… they suppressed their strength and still advanced. So this is the next generation… Tang Yin's leadership, and their cooperation—it's remarkable. So why did Yu Xiaogang not join this Lanba Team? Aren't Liu Erlong and Flender from the Golden triangle. Anyway I don't care about that guy anymore. Forget it."

Back to the match—

With Xie Yue tied up by Dugu Yan, Hu Liena turned her focus to Tang Yin, who stood smugly, meeting her gaze with a smirk. She had no choice but to go after him—and Yan quickly joined her, the two attempting to take Tang Yin down.

Seeing this, Tang yin first covered his body with blue silver king as an excuse of elemental resistance for his fight with Yan's fiery attack.

"Self-created skill—Blue Silver King Armor!"

The Blue Silver King armor shimmered under the sunlight, clinging to Tang Yin like a knight's majestic battle gear. Its metallic sheen was striking—especially to Hu Liena, who froze for a split second, dazed by the transformation.

But then she caught sight of his teasing smirk.

"Like what you see?" He asked with a wink.

Hu Liena grit her teeth in annoyance. Damn him—everything about him matched her taste, and yet his teasing always left her flustered. Determined to reclaim the momentum, her fourth soul ring flared brightly,

"Fourth Soul Skill—Chaos Fog!"

A crimson mist surged toward Tang Yin, thick with spiritual interference meant to confuse and slow him down. But thanks to immense mental strength, it had no effect on him.

Tang yin didn't even spare her a glance as he locked his senses on another threat—Yan.

"Fifth Soul Skill—Flame Lord's Fire!"

Yan's fifth soul ring ignited with power as he unleashed a barrage of searing flames toward Tang Yin. But the latter flowed through attacks like water, using his Ghost Shadow Preplexing Track movement technique to avoid each and every strike. His armor gleamed, untouched.

Yan's frustration mounted—he couldn't even unleash his full strength with his teammates around him.

The synergy of Spirit Hall Team heavily relied on Hu Liena and Xie Yue martial soul fusion.

Yet Hu Liena's charm had no effect, and her fog was useless against Tang Yin. She turned to support her allies, but each of her attempts was countered by Tang Yin's telepathy, which shielded the whole Lanba Team.

For the first time, Hu Liena felt truly powerless. Without her brother, without her charm, what use was she? Worse still, Tang Yin wasn't even taking her seriously.

Tang Yin continued dodging Yan's attacks with ease, not taking a single hit. Frustrated beyond reason and True to his hotheaded nature, Yan finally snapped and launched into a reckless frenzy. "Ha! Let's see how long you can dodge"

"Third Soul Skill—Fiery Bull's Strike!"

Tang Yin dodged Yan's fiery strike effortlessly once again. Frustrated, Yan gritted his teeth as his fifth soul ring flared once again.

"Fifth Soul Skill—Flame Lord's Fire!"

Unleashing a scorching barrage, Yan lost all restraint. Tang Yin kept dodging, weaving effortlessly through the flames—and then, deliberately, passed by Hu Liena's position.

Hu Liena's eyes widened in horror. Yan's flames were devastating—there was no time to react. Her body froze.

Am I going to die… like this?

From the VIP stands, Bibi Dong's pupils shrank. Her heart clenched as she watched her cherished disciple seconds away from death—right before her eyes.

"Nana!"

Yan, too, realized too late. His face paled in despair as the flames roared toward his crush he had painstakingly persued.

No... I didn't mean to—

In that suspended moment, Hu Liena's life flashed before her eyes. Her mind filled with regrets... and then, inexplicably, with the smirking face of that annoying guy.

Tch. I couldn't even get back at him once... what a mess...

But the pain never came. Slowly, cautiously, Hu Leina opened her eyes.

There, standing tall before her in gleaming blue and silver armor, was Tang Yin. He had shielded her completely with his own body.

In the stands, Bibi Dong exhaled deeply, her clenched fists slowly easing. I owe you one, she thought inwardly, remembering how he had just saved her only disciple.

Xie Yue also sighed in relief seeing his sister safe and sound before returning to his match with Dugu Yan..

Tang Yin turned to Hu Liena with a casual grin.

"Oops! Didn't see you while dodging his skill," he said, nodding lazily toward Yan. Then, with a gentle motion, his Blue Silver King cradled Hu Liena and placed her outside the arena.

Disqualified.

Hu Liena stared at him in a daze, her heart pounding like a war drum. Her gaze lingered.

Was this real? A prince in shining armor—just like the tales—had actually come to save her.

Yan, now trembling, dropped to his knees.

"Nana! I'm really, truly sorry! Please forgive me!" But Hu Liena didn't spare him a glance.

Tang Yin's third soul ring lit up as he stared at the groveling Yan who looked like a true boot licking single dog.

"Third Soul Skill—Soul Devouring Cage!"

A dense, crimson cage trapped the groveling Yan. He tried to escape, but the vines wouldn't budge. Tang yin's fourth Soul Ring flared,

"Fourth Soul Skill—Black Serpent's Thorn!"

Sharp tendrils lashed out, impaling Yan's legs and rapidly draining his soul power. Yan also unleashed his fourth soul skill in desperation, but the elemental attacks were all devoured.

Hu Liena watched from the sidelines, stunned.

Did... did he do that for me? Has Tang yin at last realized that he loves me when he saw me almost die? Kyaa.. what do I do? Do I accept?

Tang yin telepathy caught all her shenanigans as he shook his head. Haiz.. this girl is truly delusional. She is beyond help.

Yan roared and activated his third and fourth soul skills again—but the thorns devoured his attacks instantly. His soul power drained to nothing. Exhausted and defeated, Yan finally collapsed. With a flick, Tang Yin hurled him out of bounds with his blue silver king.

Disqualified.

Seeing Yan defeated, remaining members of Spirit Hall Team knew they were done for but still gave their all in a false hope of winning.

From the VIP area, Salas turned pale. Panic overtook him.

He dropped to his knees before Bibi Dong.

"Your Holiness—I apologize for my oversight! If I'd known how strong they were, I'd have eliminated Tang Yin and the rest already!"

Bibi Dong's expression chilled dangerously, Assassinate Tang Yin? Her benefactor?

She already disliked Salas—This leecher fool, for his incompetence, for misjudging Lanba's strength and dragging down Spirit Hall Team.

And now she had the perfect excuse.

"I hereby revoke your Platinum Bishop title. You are demoted two ranks. You're dismissed."

Salas turned ghostly. His status had shielded him for years—without it, the enemies he'd made would devour him alive. He begged, pleaded...

Bibi Dong didn't spare him a glance. With a flick of her hand, she gestured to Yue Guan, who stood beside her wearing a cold smile.

"Take him away."

Without a word, Yue Guan stepped forward. Salas barely had time to gasp before he was dragged away like a discarded dog, his pleas fading behind him.

A faint smile played on Bibi Dong's lips. At last, she had a proper reason to deal with that lecherous Salas. Her gaze drifted back to Tang Yin—suddenly, he seemed even more pleasing to the eye.

Finally, Tang Yin stepped in to help Dugu Yan who was struggling to defeat Xie Yue, bringing the match to its destined climax.

Lanba Team had secured a flawless victory—a perfect triumph in the Grand Final, effortlessly defeating their strongest foe: Spirit Hall Team.

Bibi dong didn't mind losing the two ordinary soul bones—those were replaceable. But the head bone? That one was unique, ancient, and truly special. Still, she felt no anger toward Lanba Team's victory mainly due to Tang yin.

Sometimes, a crushing defeat is the only cure for unchecked arrogance, she mused quietly.

Let the so-called "Three Geniuses" of Spirit Hall remember this day.

Her cherry-red lips parted as her voice echoed across the coliseum and the whole Spirit City.

"The Continental Elite Young Soul Master Tournament—victory goes to Lanba Team! Congratulations to Lanba Academy and their captain, Tang Yin— for this outstanding and spectacular performance."

A round of applause erupted across the arena.

From the VIP stands, Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, Xue Qinghe smiled as they clapped.

"They really did it," Xue Qinghe whispered. "Tang Yin really kept his promise."

Though some were bitter about Spirit Hall's defeat, none could deny Lanba's well-earned victory. There was no booing—only quiet acceptance and admiration.

Huo Wu, Shui Bing'er, and Zhu Zhuyun smiled from the stands outside the Sacred Temple as they heard the announcement.

Down on the stage, Tang Yin shook hands with each of the seven Spirit Hall members. When he reached Hu Liena, her hand lingered in his, her golden eyes glimmering with uncertainty. Her voice was soft, almost vulnerable—

"Do you really... not like me?"

Tang Yin paused, a gentle smile gracing his lips as his hair fluttered in the breeze.

"It's not that I don't like you," he whispered.

"I just happen to like strong girls. Strong and beautiful. You've definitely got the beautiful part..." He paused, eyes glinting. "Now show me the strong."

He flashed her a charming grin—a subtle push toward her own path of growth, nudging her toward Slaughter City, rather than the Canyon of Trials like her brother.

Then, he stepped forward—calm, composed—and arrived before the beautiful Bibi Dong.

With practiced grace, he performed a deep Knight's bow, his robe billowing in the wind.

"It is my honor to meet you, Your Highness," Tang yin said, voice clear and respectful.

Bibi dong smiled at his elegant mannerism.

She herself elegantly stood up as her lavender eyes wandered on Tang yin's face— He's perfect for Nana! There's no lust when he sees my beauty only deep respect. At least, Nana won't suffer like I did. She's a lucky girl....

From her own experience, Bibi Dong sensed that Tang Yin truly liked Hu Liena but was just pretending otherwise. She knew he was really encouraging Hu Liena to train harder and grow stronger for her own good.

Three ornate boxes glowing with ethereal light materialized from her Pontiff Scepter, hovering before him. They opened up showcasing three soul bones shining with luster.

"Tang Yin, I personally congratulate you for this triumph," She said warmly and continued,

"You are always welcome in Spirit Hall, should you choose to visit or even stay here."

She smiled warmly, then produced a purple plaque inscribed with the name "Dong'er." Tang Yin was stunned—he recognized the name from when Yu Xiaogang had called Bibi Dong that in the original story.

"This plaque grants you one request from me, in gratitude for saving my disciple. Anything within my power, you may ask," she said generously.

Tang Yin nodded with a heroic smile before making his way back to the waiting Lanba Team, where Ning Fenzhi, Sword Douluo, and Xue Qinghe stood alongside his teammates.
