( Melissa tried to talk to Jasmine but she kept ignoring her for days. One day she caught jasmine in the bathroom when they went to a restaurant. ) Melissa : Who is he? Jasmine: He's my man and Peter is your man and if you do not like him anymore leave him. Melissa : You know I don't like him. You are the one I love and am willing to do anything for you. Jasmine: Then leave him. Melissa : I will . Do you want me to do it now? I'll break up with him immediately and we will go somewhere far from here. Jasmine : After you break up with him I want you to leave our lives for good and if you do not break up with him, I'll hurt you. Melissa : I don't care if you hurt me because I love you. Jasmine : People call me crazy for a reason and am sure you don't want to find out why.( Melissa's face looked pale at the sight of Jasmine's ) Do what I asked you to do and be quick about it.

(Melissa left her and went back to thier table and Jasmine joined them a few minutes later) Peter : What took you so long? Jasmine : I was just touching up my make up . You know a woman has to look good for her man . Right? (She said that looking at Melissa ) Melissa: Yeah, right. Jasmine : Do you have something to say to us? Peter: I think you're hiding something. Jasmine : No, I am not or am I ? Melissa. ( Melissa didn't say a word till they got back home. Jasmine could no longer bare it so she walked into Peter's room to confront Melissa ) Peter : Do you need anything? Jasmine : Yeah, Melissa has something to say to you. Melissa : Peter, you are a good person and the girl you will marry will be the luckiest girl in the world. Peter: Yes I know and you're that girl. Melissa : No , I am not . I love someone else and I thought I could just walk away from the person but I will be deceiving myself and you as well if I stay with you . Peter: Did Jasmine threaten you? Melissa : No ,she didn't. I just realized how much I love this person and I want to go back to them. Am sorry for wasting your time. Peter: If you are sure you made the right decision, then I won't stop you and have a great life with this person. Melissa : Am sorry. Peter: No problem . So when are you leaving to meet this person? Melissa : Am actually leaving right now. Peter: So you were just going to leave me without saying goodbye. I would have been shuttered . Melissa : Am sorry but I have to go now and I hope you find the right girl for you. Peter: I hope so too and good luck.( She left that night ) Jasmine : I thought you would cry your eyes by now but you're actually taking the break up rather too well. Peter: I knew she didn't love me anymore from the first day she arrived she demanded to stay in your room. That's when I knew we were over but I was hoping she would stay but am okay. Jasmine : That's good. We will go out tomorrow. Peter : It's not something to celebrate. Jasmine : I know. I want to get some bad vibes out of my system. Peter: Me too

(Weeks went by and Jasmine had to meet up with a partner in Chicago and she was staying at a friend's. She went to a restaurant to meet up with her partner. The meeting went well. ) Nicole: Hi, miss Jasmine. Jasmine : Hi, it seems like fate keeps bringing us together. What are you doing here? Nicole: Am here with my family. They're here for business but I don't care about that. Jasmine : So what do care about? Nicole : I care about people. I mean I want to be a lawyer. Jasmine : Why? Nicole: My mom was murdered and no one stood up for her because we had no money. Jasmine : So what has that got to do with you becoming a lawyer? (She looked hurt) Nicole: Are you this heartless? Jasmine : Lawyers in abundance when your mom was murdered. What difference will it make if you become a lawyer? Nicole: uhm... Jasmine: Look, I hate business and the meetings but am doing it for my family. You have a strong point here but you need to make it powerful. I know you don't like business but I have a proposition for you. The next time we meet, you are going to pitch to me about what you want to do with your life to prevent what happened to your mom from happening to any other person. If it's good , I will help you with whatever you need to make your dream come through. Is that okay? Nicole : Yes mam. Jasmine : Okay, think about it and give me a pitch next time we meet. It was nice meeting you again.

(Everything went well and again Jasmine had to travel but this time with her family. They went to New York for a wedding and there Jasmine met Christine for the first time in eight years. ) Jasmine : Hi(she said shyly and then someone called her and she walked to the person leaving Christine in awe. They happen to meet again when she was at the food table.) Christine : Hi there Jasmine. So is that how you greet your husband after a long time apart? Jasmine : An auntie called me. Christine : What auntie? (His voice was loud and a few heads turned towards them) Jasmine : Do not create a scene here Christine. Christine : After everything you've made me go through, you're asking me not to create a scene? Jasmine : Let's talk somewhere else. (Just then someone interrupts their conversation. It was Nicole ) Dad come with me, Nicholas says I am not allowed to drink any wine. Oh, hi miss Jasmine (She says with a smile on her face.) Jasmine: Hi , Nicole. Nicole : Miss Jasmine this is my father Christine Park. Dad this is the lady I told you about miss Jasmine. Jasmine : Nice to meet you Mr.Park and I think we are done here. Your daughter needs you. Christine : It's not what it seems like. Jasmine : Go your kids need you. (What was that , Christine is the father of not just Amelia but four other teenagers. Did he have kids before he met her? And if he did why didn't he tell her? She couldn't comprehend why Christine would do that.)
