After Being Expelled From the Sect, the Master and Senior Sisters Regretted It for Life

Chapter 18:

Chapter 18:

“You’re going to go back on your word?” The little enchantress stared at Mo Liusu, her voice carrying a hint of anger.

“Back on my word? Not quite… You never had the qualifications to negotiate with me in the first place. Everything so far was just a temporary measure,” Mo Liusu replied, her expression calm. “I’ll say it one more time: hand over the Seven-Star Blood Lotus, kneel down, and await my judgment!”

“And what if I say no?” Zhou Tong rubbed his forehead, his voice calm and unwavering.

“Then you’ll be torn to pieces!” Ge Hongqiu sneered, her face filled with glee. “You were so arrogant just a moment ago, forcing us to kneel. Did you not think about the consequences?”

“Enough talk. It’s time to teach this piece of trash a lesson!” Jiang Yuyao, her heart burning with anger, couldn’t wait to see Zhou Tong punished severely.

“Kneel!” Mo Liusu raised a hand and pressed down with the force of a mountain, the immense pressure bearing down on Zhou Tong and the little enchantress.

Their bodies trembled violently, almost bending under the weight, but in the next moment, they straightened up, refusing to bow.

“Are you trying to bully the Joyous Harmony Sect? Or are you looking to challenge our master in battle?” The little enchantress stepped forward, activating the Joyous Harmony Sect’s mystical arts, summoning a vast sea of crimson light.

Hearing this, Mo Liusu’s expression turned disdainful. “Your master? You mean that washed-up relic on the brink of death?”

Laughter erupted around them, mocking the little enchantress as though her claim was a joke. Just days earlier, they had witnessed the frailty of the infamous woman, a shadow of her former self.

“Hmph! You’re mistaken. My master has already consumed the Bodhi Pill. While she may not yet be at her peak, she’s more than enough to deal with you!” The little enchantress’s voice was firm and full of confidence.

“Ridiculous posturing!” Tang Qi descended from the high platform, his gaze sweeping over Zhou Tong with unparalleled arrogance. “Don’t think I don’t know—you couldn’t possibly refine a Bodhi Pill. You must have suffered severe Dao injuries, which is why you’re so desperate to obtain the Seven-Star Blood Lotus!”

Hearing this, Mo Liusu’s eyes lit up with understanding.

“So that’s it. You not only want to save yourself but also that vile woman. Too bad you’ll never get the chance!” Her hand pressed down harder, the pressure intensifying to crush Zhou Tong and the little enchantress completely.

At that moment, a clear voice, as piercing as a phoenix’s cry, resounded through the sky.

“Dare to harm my disciple? How many lives do you have to pay for it?”

A brilliant light flashed, the winds roared, and ripples of energy rushed forward. Mo Liusu, caught off guard, was the first to bear the impact.

“BOOM!!”

With a deafening explosion, Mo Liusu’s aura shattered. She staggered back, unable to steady herself in midair.

The crowd blinked, and before their eyes appeared a figure as radiant as a celestial being.

“The Joyous Harmony Sect’s master!”
“The demoness!”

The crowd erupted into murmurs, their expressions filled with anxiety and awe as they recognized Murong Ya.

The little enchantress let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Zhou Tong had anticipated this and signaled her to send for backup in time. Otherwise, they would have been at a severe disadvantage today.

“Who dares to cause trouble here? The Azure Purity Sect is no place for you to run wild!” Several elders flew into the air, surrounding Murong Ya.

“You old fools think you’re my equals? Get lost!”

Murong Ya’s snowy-white hair fluttered as she activated her Jade Demon Body.

She transformed into a being of ice and fury, exuding a killing intent so overwhelming that many felt their hands and feet go cold.

It was this very presence that had once allowed her to crush several sects single-handedly!

“Calm down! Let’s talk this through!” The elders of the Azure Purity Sect felt the danger and tried to mediate.

“Hurt my disciple and then ask me to calm down? Why don’t you all drop dead instead?”

Murong Ya was unyielding. She struck with a hand seal, and the sky seemed to explode. Waves of terrifying energy swept through the area, leaving the elders injured and bleeding as they fell from the sky.

The scene left everyone trembling.

Such power! There were no signs of frailty in her at all. Clearly, the Bodhi Pill had worked—Zhou Tong had succeeded in refining it!

“This is impossible! You were on the verge of death. That trash could never have refined a seventh-grade pill!” Tang Qi’s face darkened as he clung to his disbelief.

But many in the crowd recalled the strange phenomena that had appeared near Red Dust Mountain days ago—lightning and fire from the heavens. Could that have been caused by the Bodhi Pill?

Realization dawned on their faces.

If Tang Qi’s ability to refine fifth-grade pills was astonishing, then Zhou Tong’s success in refining a seventh-grade pill made him a monster—a prodigy unmatched in alchemy.

“This must be fake! They must have obtained the Bodhi Pill by other means!” Jiang Yuyao protested. “No one in our generation can surpass Junior Brother Tang Qi!”

“Exactly! That’s the only explanation!”

Mo Liusu steadied her breath, facing Murong Ya from across the distance.

The two women, equally breathtaking, stood in the air, a sight so mesmerizing it left the crowd spellbound.

Yet, the difference in their beauty was unmistakable.

If Mo Liusu was like a cold and distant moon, then Murong Ya was the radiance of the sun itself—so dazzling that even the moon would pale in comparison.

“I’ll make you pay for harming them,” Murong Ya declared, her demeanor shifting from calm to commanding as she prepared to strike.

“Hmph! That’s just trash I discarded. If you treat it as treasure, it only shows your desperation!” Mo Liusu retorted, though her expression wavered.

Murong Ya paused, her gaze playful.

“Are you jealous?”

“Jealous? Of what?” Mo Liusu scoffed.

“Of so many things. My strength, my beauty, and the fact that Zhou Tong abandoned you to join me.”

The smile on Mo Liusu’s face faltered.

Murong Ya continued with a teasing tone, “You can’t even imagine how much Zhou Tong cherishes his new master. He checks on me daily, cares about my injuries, refines pills for me, and even massages me at night…”

Mo Liusu’s fists clenched tightly, her cheeks flushed red.

Murong Ya twirled a strand of her hair, her expression both shy and satisfied. “He’s such a considerate disciple. I told him he didn’t have to go through all the trouble, but he even scolded me for it. What else could I do but spoil him? Whoever dares to harm him will face my wrath!”

Her playful tone turned icy as her gaze locked onto Mo Liusu. “I bet Zhou Tong never treated you that well when he was under your care. If there’s anyone to blame, it’s your own lack of charm!”

“That’s nonsense! He treated me better than anyone else!” Mo Liusu’s anger erupted, her aura surging uncontrollably.

Her fury wasn’t due to Murong Ya’s mocking words but because she knew there was truth in them.

Jealousy consumed her. Zhou Tong’s respect, care, and affection—those were privileges she believed were hers alone. She couldn’t stand the thought of anyone else receiving them.

“Unbelievable,” Murong Ya said coldly. “He treated you so well, yet you still cast him aside. You truly are heartless.”
