A Wolf's Howl, A Fairy's Wing

Chapter 506 - Date: Emily [1/3]

With one date down, Erik woke up the next morning to find Emma had quickly reverted to her old ways. After waking him up in the best way possible, she brought him breakfast in bed, once again wearing her maid outfit.

She kneeled next to him, lovingly watching him eat the food she'd prepared. "So, I guess big Em is next, Master?" she asked calmly, once again addressing him as she usually did.

She looked at him with curiosity, and cocked her head. "What have you planned? I'm pretty sure she wouldn't enjoy the local gatherings as much as I did… Is there anything else in the surrounding area?"

Erik sighed and shook his head. "No, there's basically nothing. Definitely not anything she'd enjoy, anyway." His lips curled into a grin. "So, for this date I've enlisted the help of Elora…"

He smirked playfully at her. "But I'm sure you'll hear all about it from her later."

Emma pouted in disappointment. "Fine, keep your secrets, Master." But her pout quickly made way for her signature bright smile. Leaning forward, she kissed his lips, before climbing off the bed. "Anyway, have fun dating my sister~" she winked suggestively, and left the room to start her own day.

Watching her leave slender form leave, Erik chuckled softly. He felt his lower body stir again, but he supressed it, and left the bed as well.

Last night, he wanted to test his Elorium sharing methods on Emma, but since their date ended in talking and sleep, he didn't manage to get to it. 'Oh well, another chance today…' he grinned lustfully.

He left the room, and set about preparing his next date, as well as spending some time cultivating with Elorium.

Later that day, in the early evening, Erik stood in his room, once again wearing a different outfit. This time, he was going in all black. Dark, somewhat loos jeans, a leather jacket, and a black tank top. Metal decorations finished the ensemble.

He was looking at himself in the mirror and smirking. "This really isn't my style…" But then she shook his head. "Well, no matter. Trying everything at least once is a good policy, especially when it concerns your wife."

Suddenly, the door opened, and Emily walked in expectantly. "Master? Is it time for— Oh…"

Like a good sibling, her reaction to Erik's outfit was much the same as Emma's. At least at first… because then she suddenly started to snicker.

"Hehehe, what's that you're wearing, Master…?" she laughed teasingly as she walked up to him.

Erik grinned without shame and shrugged, "It's my attempt at a pre-awakening punk rocker outfit. Considering where I'm taking you tonight, I figured I should look the part."

He raised a playful eyebrow, "Feel free to tell me what you think, but remember, anything except compliments will be severely punished."

Emily giggled, and stroked the leather encasing his arms curiously. "In that case, you obviously look amazing, Master, and I certainly appreciate the effort. Although I wonder where you're taking me? I'm pretty sure there's no metal or rock shows in Enkare Nkai."

Erik chuckled, nodding. "And you'd be right about that… which meant I had to improvise a little. There's very little in terms of entertainment you'd enjoy around here, so I had to create some."

He stepped closer, and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Shall we?" he asked, expectantly. There was no outfit change for Emily this time… at least, not yet. Her current sort-of-Victorian-goth style dress would work fine, especially with the collar. He did have a change of clothes for her, but that would have to wait.

"Lead the way, Master," Emily grinned, wondering what he had in store for her.

Surprisingly, however, they didn't go very far. After leaving the master bedroom that Erik occupied, he veered to the left, and steered his date towards one of the empty rooms.

Emily let herself be led by her husband, but she did grow a little confused. What awaited her, however, blew away all expectation.

When Erik opened the door with a grin, a wall of sound smacked them in the face. Emily immediately recognized that sound as music, and widened her eyes. She looked passed the doorway, and noticed a mass of bodies, all dressed much the same as them, dancing to both rock and metal. "This is… London?!"

Erik chuckled and nodded, "Sort of. Remember how Elora read all your memories back when we first returned to Earth? Well, she created this illusion sigil from them. Since there's nothing you'd enjoy for leisure time in Enkare Nkai, I figured we'd go somewhere that did have such a thing…"

He stepped closer, and wrapped his arms around her waist. "So?" he asked curiously. "Would you like to go on a date with me, into the past? Pretend the awakening never happened, and we started dating in pre-awakening London? Will you show me the world you lived in back then?"

Emily's lips slowly curled into a grin. "Didn't we grow up on the same world?"

Erik scoffed with amusement. He looked over at the happening behind that door, thought back to his youth in the ass-end-of-nowhere that was Frostvik, and shook his head with a chuckle. "No, we definitely grew up in different worlds."

"Hehe," Emily giggled, knowing he was probably right. "Okay then, Master. Let me show you my world." She grinned, and pulled him beyond the doorway.

Immediately, they found themselves in the middle of something that looked like a run-down silo. Around them, hundreds of people danced wildly. On an improved stage, a rock band was playing covers, interspaced by some of their own songs.

Erik looked around curiously. He'd never been in a situation like this. In fact, he'd never really danced before. Emily, however, was quickly getting in the mood. She grinned playfully at him as she began to sway to the music. "Come on, Master! Dance with me!" she screamed loudly, barely understandable over the music.

Normally, Erik's Runebound senses would have easily picked up on her words, even among this cacophony, but Elora's sigils were suppressing their senses back down to mortal levels, so as to get the authentic experience.

Because of that, he only barely understood her… Elora even disabled the bond between them temporally, disallowing them to talk through it. Clearly, this was not a place for conversation.

'I think I might come to enjoy this quite a lot…' Erik suddenly found himself thinking with a grin. Slowly, he started moving his body to the beat. Fortunately, he was a quick learner. Within minutes, he was in sync with Emily and they were grinding against each other's bodies, in the middle of a London underground metal show.
