A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1340: Flesh And Bone

An hour later, Archer noticed he was losing monsters quicker than expected as the fire elf Demi Gods attacked his creatures. This forced him to summon them back to the Domain, apart from the ones waiting to ambush the enemy.

Archer summoned Valariana to him as she returned to her humanoid form covered in cuts and bruises. He cast a healing spell on the blonde who suddenly hugged him while speaking in a low voice. ''Do you still want me as your woman now you've seen my real form?''

''Huh?'' he replied before shaking his head while answering. ''Of course I want you Vala, I don't care about your Chull form, I'm a dragon after all.''

The warrior woman beamed with red cheeks as he teleported them to the wall above where Teuila and Sera were watching. The blue-haired beauty turned to him with a smile. ''That slowed their march, it was a good call handsome,'' she praised him.

Without thinking, he grabbed Teuila and gave her a passionate kiss which made the young woman melt into his arms. After that, the Alliance pressed forward as Archer removed a portion of the barrier.

The enemy soldiers trudged forward, unknowingly crossing over the monster's concealed network of tunnels. Suddenly, with a violent eruption, Chasm and Cave Spiders surged from the earth, unleashing chaos as they ripped through their foes.

Their sharp limbs ripped them apart just as the Drakkuri grabbed the commanders before dragging them into the darkness below. While this happened, he summoned a swarm of Venomwings and Dark Termites that slammed into the Alliance army.

''This is pure chaos Arch,'' Sera said excitedly while bouncing on the spot. ''Your monster army is impressive.''

''Yes it is,'' he responded with a chuckle. ''But it will lessen the impact on the wall and once this battle is over we can return to Draconia to relax for the winter.''

When the two women heard this, a smile appeared on their faces as the dragon spoke. ''I'm going to order my legion to build a permanent fortress just behind the wall, they need somewhere comfortable to stay.''

Archer looked at the redhead and nodded. ''Sounds good to me, would be good to have a base to start the roads from.''

Following that, Teuila did the same before he turned his attention to the enemy army reforming and marching toward the wall. Moments later, the Dragonfire Company unleashed a wave of mana blasts that arched toward them.

The Alliance Mages brought up a shield to block it, but that gave him enough time to summon hundreds of Oathkeepers to bulk up the walls' defences. He sent a message to Demacia with a smirk. 'Can I use a few hundred Blood Crawlers please?'

When the necromancer woman heard this, she appeared beside him with a big smile, thanks to him opening a Gate for her, causing her to speak seductively while wrapping her arms around him. ''Of course you can, handsome, but when will I get my date, you promise?''

He chuckled before answering. ''Once the winter kicks in and the war stops thanks to the horrible weather.''

Demacia nodded as she summoned the Licker-like monsters as he ordered. ''Have them climb on the wall, I want the beasts to cover the soldiers against the Alliance's overwhelming numbers.''

The striking woman nodded in agreement, then issued her command with authority. Archer observed the creatures scaling the walls, their movements swift and relentless, as he awaited the signal to strike.

Amid the tension, he glanced back at the oncoming horde and muttered with a hint of gratitude, ''Thank you for that, Demacia.''

''You're welcome handsome,'' she said with a happy expression. ''Wait until you see them fight, they're impressive.''

When the enemy soldiers came into range, the cannons on both sides fell silent, their barrages giving way to an eerie quiet. Then, mages and ranged units unleashed a relentless volley, their attacks raining down like a storm claiming dozens of lives in the initial onslaught.

Moments later, the Alliance army surged forward, siege ladders slamming against the fortifications as they pressed their assault. The legions scrambled to ready themselves for the imminent battle.

As the first enemy soldiers clawed their way over the wall, Teuila and Sera burst from the stairwell in a blaze of fury as the two women joined the fight within seconds, which made him smile.

Archer's eyes widened as the blue-haired beauty unleashed her blade, killing seven foes in a heartbeat with three breathtaking, masterful slashes that danced through the air like a whirlwind of death.

Sera was a feral storm of chaos. With a savage leap, she pounced onto a towering soldier, her blade flashing as she severed his head in one brutal stroke of her sharp claws. Still grinning wickedly.

The dragon woman vaulted into another cluster of foes, tearing through them with a wild fury as her tail lashed out to impale a final enemy through the chest. He was impressed by their skill and strength.

Demacia watched her friends killing dozens of soldiers with ease, but soon realized that there were too many enemy warriors. Archer spoke with glowing violet eyes. ''Order the Blood Crawlers to attack and go over the wall.''

When the necromancer heard this, she gave him a radiant smile before ordering her monsters to attack as he shouted to the legions. ''Back off and don't attack the creatures!''

Following that, the Blood Crawlers rushed up the wall and pounced on the surprised Alliance soldiers. Their sharp claws tore through their bodies with ease as blood stained the stone below.

Archer's gaze locked onto the creatures as they swarmed over the wall, crashing into the enemy ranks with nightmarish ferocity. They ripped through flesh and armor effortlessly, their claws and fangs a blur of destruction.

The Blood Crawlers shredded rank after rank, but as their numbers finally began to dwindle under the counterattack, Demacia's patience snapped. With a scowl of irritation, she raised her voice in a chilling chant.

''Flesh and bone, heed my call, From shadowed graves, arise and crawl,'' her blue eyes glowed as she concluded. ''Arise my soldiers!''

The fallen soldiers twitched and rose, their lifeless bodies now animated as undead thralls. Groaning and relentless, they tumbled over the wall's edge, hurling themselves back into the battle with eerie, unstoppable vigor.

Demacia screamed as the last Blood Crawler died. ''Kill them all! Bring me their corpses!''

Archer watched the zombies ignore the Draconians while jumping over the side and falling toward the ground as a chorus of moans rang out just before they slammed into the Alliance horde.

Screams and shouts echoed out as he looked at Thalion with a smirk. ''Join in on the fun commander, kill as many as you can.''

The giant knight nodded before communicating with the other Oathkeepers who jumped over the wall and smashed into the horde of enemy soldiers. Archer's eyes lit up as the massive weapons swung and took countless lives.

Next, he faced Demacia, who wielded the undead like a relentless tsunami, causing him to think. 'Wow she's deadly when angry.'

Archer gently approached the young woman, his hands finding her waist as he turned her to face him. Moments later, he kissed the beautiful necromancer and felt the tension melt away, calming her in an instant.

When they broke apart, Demacia smiled before asking. ''What was that for handsome?''

''Because I wanted to kiss my necromancer,'' he answered while hugging her. ''Don't get too angry Dem.''

Following that, Teuila and Sera appeared covered in blood and breathing heavily. The dragon woman commented before sitting down. ''There's so many soldiers but thanks to those monsters the enemy are now off the wall.''

''Yes, without them or the Oathkeepers we could have lost even more soldiers,'' Teuila muttered while drinking some cold water.

When Archer heard this, he turned back to the battle as his knights carved through the enemy ranks but noticed they were slowing down. He huffed before summoning them all back to the wall.

The Oathkeepers stood in bewildered silence, but as their eyes fell upon him, they lowered their heads in reverence. The undead surged forward, seamlessly assuming the roles the Oathkeepers had relinquished.

He turned back toward the fray, watching as the zombies succumbed to the sheer, overwhelming numbers of the Alliance army. Archer chuckled before making his way to the closest cannon.

The soldiers around it became nervous, but he spoke with a grin while putting his hand on the war machine. ''Get ready to fire when the barrel glows.''

They agreed and loaded it up just as he sent mana into the barrel and moments later it erupted with a loud boom as the Dragonfire troops fired it when the metal lit up like a glow stick.

Archer's gaze tracked the overcharged mana shell as it streaked through the sky, before crashing into the enemy. A heartbeat later, a deafening explosion tore through the battlefield obliterating a large swath of the opposing army in an instant.
