A being of shadow.

The one with locks on his coat started by saying "Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Thorus Roulos. My brother's name is Thimos Roulos. Could you please come out from underneath the bed, introduce yourself?"

'I was honestly scared of them when they came in, because who wouldn't be scared if your experimenter entered, with some weird accessories on their clothes. What? Introduce yourself? They don't know me?'

I did listen to what they said. Despite the questions I had in my mind, I tried to say hello, but I couldn't speak. When I came out, and I saw their faces were gray too, so maybe I was color blinded. What is color? I don't know anymore. Maybe it is a side effect of the experiments they did on me, but I'm not surprised, with how many things happen today, no one would be.

So I transformed into my human form. And see if that makes any difference. Although I didn't have any hope, because when I tried everything to produce any sound before, since my awakening I have been unsuccessful.

While transforming by focusing on the shred near my heart, their gaze instantly changed into caution of my actions, but I didn't notice it since I was focusing on the shred.

After what felt like 2 minutes, I changed, "Hello, Thorus and Thimos, it is my pleasure to meet you guys too." "I'm sorry, but I don't remember my name." I felt that I shouldn't reveal my weaknesses; which was memory lost, so I reveal my name to see their reactions and judge their intentions.

I just saw the look of understanding go across their faces and vanish, so their experiment had something to do with my memory lost.

Thorus answered, "That is okay, if you don't remember it, we are only here to escort you to meet our leader, Angel of Keys."

'Angel of what? I don't think that would have been something I expected to hear. Maybe it's a prank, but from the looks of it, so maybe not.:

"Okay, lead the way please"

This time, Thimos spoke in a serious voice. "We need you to wear this bracelet, so you can't escape, but don't worry, we don't have any bad intentions." Before I could answer, Thorus interrupted "Sadly, you have to comply with that order, we're just doing our job, and you will understand everything once you meet him"

I didn't know what to do. Maybe I could run away if I got past Thorus and Thimos, but I don't think I can, because they sound confident, and they know all my abilities, while I don't know any.

So I decided that I had to comply, so I held out my right arm. Thimos came forward, took out a bracelet, and he put it on my arm. The bracelet started glowing gray. After some moments, it died down, it disappeared, and some strange symbols appeared in the same place as the bracelet after its disappearance.

"Follow after us"

After saying that, they picked up the translation device. They started going forward. While I followed behind them, we went up the stairs. It looked like we were underground, dungeons of some sort.

They were navigating through the building like lightning. We met some people like them with these accessories. It looked like they were guarding the person. We stopped at what looked like an administrative place. Thorus and Thimos each took out their own keys and showed them to them.

After that, we went outside. There were four buildings outside. One of them was the dungeon which we came out of. The other one looked like a big house with simple designs, and had a wood door and some windows on it. One of them looked like a shrine, for the other one I couldn't guess.

The buildings were surrounded by walls at least two and a half tall. Because of it, I couldn't see the outside, and it was nighttime, so there was no one around the place.

The moon was hanging up with stars in the sky. They were kind of beautiful, because I was color blinded, I couldn't see their real beauty.

We went to the big house. Once we got near the door, I saw that the brothers were becoming nervous. They respectfully knocked. After a few moments, a voice came and said "?????" I, too, got nervous, didn't know why. Maybe it was because he was the leader of the organization, or maybe I got nervous because they got nervous.

We entered the house, but the inside of it did not look like a house. There was only a chair on a raised platform at the end of the house. The house windows were covered in cloth. The man himself had a lot of locks on his coat, and had a gray key as a necklace, and he was setting down the chair which was gray. He had gray colored eyes and hair, which probably wasn't gray.

Three steps in and the two knees and held their keys that they had in front of them. The gray color of the keys was different from each other, suggesting different colors.

"??????" he said in a deep voice.

Although I was nervous, I didn't kneel before him because he didn't do any to earn it. But he didn't seem like he cared about it.

Before anything else, Thimos said something to Angel of keys, Thimos took out the translation device. 

The Angel told Thorus to "explain the situation", so he did. After hearing about everything, he looked towards Thimos. "Thimos seal him in this state for five minutes and undo your previous seal?" 'After all I was almost at my limit'

Thimos, the guy with black squares on answered, the voice full of admiration. "Yes, of course."

He came over, took my right arm and after a few seconds the symbols disappeared and, after what felt like a bit of time, new ones appeared in their place but different looking then before.

After feeling his gaze upon me Angel of keys, I looked towards him. Then he told the brothers to leave and wait outside for me. So they went outside.

Now I was alone with Angel of keys. I was pretty tense because the man looked unfathomable. Maybe he was Angel for a reason.

Angel said in his majestic voice while sitting down on the chair, "Welcome to the planet Umbra, we have summoned to help us in cause, but before anything do remember anything from before here?"

"No, I don't remember anything, but I can feel the difference, like right now I don't think that the planet's name was Umbra, I feel like it was named something." Even though I felt I shouldn't reveal it, I had a feeling that he knew that I didn't remember anything.

"But why can't I remember anything?" I said in a desperate voice, hoping for salvation. "We summoned your soul from another realm, but until your soul had gotten here, it had been damaged too much on the way; and souls are weak in general, soul and mind connected."

"Can I regain my memories?"

"Maybe"

"How did you choose me?"

"We didn't choose you but simply tried until we were successful. All the souls we summoned have died. You probably survived because of your affinity with Shadow, and your ability to adapt."

"I have color blindness. Is there anything you could do to fix it?"

"Tell Thorus about it"

"But enough with questions, you will find answer to them once you set on your path to power. Since you don't remember your name, I will give you one. Your name will be Nox."

"I like it" 'I really did like it, but I still want my original name, but I can't do anything about it.'

"Okay, good then, I know this is a sudden thing for you, but this world is in grave danger, a danger deep hidden. I need to join our cause. You could be a potential helper at the needed time, but you don't have to decide now. You can tell later, when you have decided it, you be under Thorus and Thimos supervisor asks them what you need to know, see later if time allows it."

From the start to the end, neither his face changed nor his voice.
