Uchiha in Zenless Zone Zero

Chapter 202: Chapter 202: That One Devastating Slash

The appearance of Uchiha was nothing short of a morale surge for everyone in Hollow Special Operations Section 6. But they didn't allow themselves to fully relax—after all, the scale of the Ethereal presence this time was unprecedented.

Even for Uchiha, it was doubtful he could handle this many colossal-class Ethereals on his own... probably.

"I'll take care of things from here. You just focus on evacuating the others—or, if you prefer, sit back and watch how I handle this."

With those words, Zhong Yan vanished in a flash, reappearing atop a ruined building not far off.

Before him stood several towering colossal Ethereals. Their mere presence exuded such oppressive force that even standing near them was suffocating.

Among them, one familiar figure stood out to Zhong Yan.

Nineveh.

That puzzled him. As far as he remembered, he had already eliminated Nineveh.

Even if remnants had somehow survived, it shouldn't have been able to regenerate this quickly—let alone grow stronger than before.

Something was off.

He couldn't help but wonder: who or what had the power to command so many colossal Ethereals? Was there something even more powerful than them lurking in the depths of Hollow Zero?

His curiosity was piqued, but first, he needed to clear out the immediate threats.

On the other side, when Nineveh spotted Zhong Yan, a shriek of fear echoed from deep within its massive form.

Ethereals of this level had developed a degree of intelligence—or at the very least, retained primal instincts.

And Nineveh remembered all too well how it had been utterly crushed during their last encounter. If it hadn't barely escaped at the last second, it wouldn't even be here now.

However, the other colossal Ethereals surrounding it didn't share its fear. To them, Zhong Yan appeared to be just another fragile human—an insignificant threat, barely worth the effort.

At best, he was a morsel of food. At worst, a nuisance stuck in their teeth.

"Being underestimated, huh..." Sensing their indifference, Zhong Yan chuckled. He took a step forward. From behind his mask, his lotus-shaped, blood-red Sharingan eyes began to glow ominously.

Deep-blue chakra erupted from his body, quickly forming a skeletal frame that grew muscle and armor in seconds.

With a further transformation, his Susanoo advanced into its Karasu Tengu form—now much larger than when he first activated it.

The sight left the members of Section 6 stunned. They had seen Zhong Yan summon Susanoo before, but never in this form.

The sheer pressure radiating from the construct nearly eclipsed that of the colossal Ethereals.

Only now did those Ethereals who had never faced Zhong Yan begin to understand the magnitude of the threat. Even Nineveh, already trembling, couldn't retreat—its orders bound it in place.

"Still just afraid, huh? Not trembling all over yet?" Zhong Yan stared down at the Ethereals beneath him and exhaled slowly. Then, he formed a single hand seal.

"Transform."

In that moment, the Karasu Tengu Susanoo began to shift again. Its size expanded at a speed visible to the naked eye. In only a few breaths, it surpassed a hundred meters in height.

Its features became more humanoid, massive wings sprouted from its back, and a Tengu mask formed over its face, radiating an aura of overwhelming majesty.

When it finally stabilized, the Susanoo had reached nearly two hundred meters tall.

This was its complete form.

As the titan rose high enough to blot out the sky, everyone present stood in awe. Section 6 could hardly believe their eyes.

This form dwarfed even the colossal Ethereals.

Could this truly be the power of a human?

Even Hoshimi Miyabi, a Void Hunter acknowledged by New Eridu itself, couldn't help but draw a sharp breath.

She had once believed she might catch up to Zhong Yan—but now, she realized it was no longer possible.

Uchiha had surpassed even the third-generation head of the Hoshimi clan.

Within the glowing jewel on Susanoo's forehead, Zhong Yan stood, gazing coldly down at the Ethereals below, a quiet sense of superiority rising in his chest.

He also noted something else—his Susanoo was continuing to grow as his ocular power strengthened.

From an initial 150 meters, it had now reached nearly 200. If he could evolve his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan into the Rinnegan, it might grow to over 300 meters.

At that size, even colossal Ethereals would be like ants beneath his feet.

"So, now you're finally shaking," he muttered with a smile, watching the Ethereals tremble in terror.

He raised Susanoo's arm. A massive blade materialized in its palm.

The sheer energy from its appearance caused the surrounding space to tremble, as though reality itself were splitting under the pressure.

Then, Susanoo lifted the blade high over its head and brought it crashing down toward the Ethereals below.

In the next instant, the ground exploded.

The force of the strike unleashed a devastating shockwave. Ruined buildings shattered into flying debris. Those closest—like Section 6—were sent hurtling through the air by the gust alone.

Their vision went black for a moment, and when they opened their eyes again, what they saw would be forever etched into their memories.

From a distance, the view widened—revealing the aftermath of Zhong Yan's slash.

The land had been torn asunder.

Even the far-off boundary wall of Hollow Zero had been cleaved open by the impact.

Hollow Zero itself—had been split apart.
