Transmigrated Into One Piece

Everyone was stunned at what had just transpired. Not only did the seastone have no effect on Lucas, but he had also exhibited abilities that mimicked those of their captain. Up until now, Lucas had mostly turned into monstrous forms or used magic, but this was unprecedented.

"A person possessing Devil Fruit powers and immune to seastone!" Smoker muttered, his eyes wide with shock. In his eyes, this pirate posed a danger possibly even greater than Crocodile.

"Be careful, you idiot!" Nami bashed Lucas on the head. "Do you want everyone to drown?"

"Hey, that's my move!" Luffy protested.

"I know. So, what'd ya think?" Lucas remarked with a grin.

"Meh, I'd give it a six out of ten," Usopp said, ever the critic.

"Hmpf, you really surprised me, but don't think you've won just yet. By now, the war has started, and my plan is reaching its..." Crocodile began, but both Luffy and Lucas struck him simultaneously with a Gomu Gomu Pistol—Luffy to the head and Lucas to the chest. Crocodile's body turned into sand and scattered before reassembling next to them.

"So what if you've got Devil Fruit powers? So what if you're immune to seastone? You're just a bunch of brats who don't even know how to fully utilize your Devil Fruit powers," Crocodile sneered.

"Is that so?" Lucas retorted. He leapt into the air, morphing into Overflow, and blasted Crocodile with water. "Water Pistol!" he cried.

"Luffy, now you can punch him!" Lucas shouted. Luffy stretched both his hands backward.

"Gomu Gomu! Bazooka!" Luffy yelled, striking Crocodile and sending him crashing into the stairs.

"Yeah!" Luffy cried triumphantly.

"Good job, you two," Nami cheered, but Crocodile got back up.

"Yeesh, I forgot how robust the people of this verse are," Lucas muttered.

"Good... Very good," Crocodile muttered, a dark determination in his eyes. "It seems I'll have to speed things up a bit," he said before taking off, but not without destroying the stairs and opening a hatch above. Water began pouring in, threatening to drown everyone as their only exit was cut off.

"Oh no! We're gonna drown!" Usopp and Chopper panicked.

"Haaa! I don't know how to swim!" Chopper cried out.

"You mean you can't swim," Usopp corrected, equally panicked.

As water continued to rise, Lucas brought Luffy back, and the Straw Hats and Smoker regrouped. "Do you think Igaram failed?" Vivi asked, her eyes filled with worry.

"Well, that's not the only case. You heard that this was a carefully thought-out plan. Even with this information, Baroque Works still had backup plans to initiate the war," Lucas explained.

"Can we talk about this when we're not being flooded by water!" Usopp shouted.

"It seems you know quite a bit about Crocodile's plans," Smoker muttered. "But I'm curious, do you truly understand the impact this civil war could lead to?" He went on, explaining the weight of Crocodile's ambitions.

"It doesn't matter who he is, what he's planning, or whatever title he has, I'm gonna kick that bastard's ass!" Luffy declared with unwavering determination.

"... I suggest you get out of here first," Smoker remarked, making Luffy realize how much the water had risen.

"Oh crap, the water's up to my thighs!" he screamed.

"Haa! Well, you heard him. Let's get out of here and make that bastard who made Vivi cry pay," Sanji said, puffing on his cigarette.

"You heard that, Lucas," Sanji added.

"Oh right, we're saved! Lucas can just open his portal and get us out of here," Usopp said in relief.

"A strange bunch you Straw Hats are," Smoker remarked, seeing them act so carefree even in this dire situation.

Outside the casino, the Marines were searching all over for Smoker until a strange portal suddenly appeared, with water pouring out and the Straw Hats, along with Smoker, emerging, coughing up water.

"Okay, guys, get ready. I'll teleport everyone to where Carue is," Lucas said, standing up. His eyes lit up bright purple as he prepared to teleport. The Marines surrounded the Straw Hats, but as Smoker ordered them to stand down, the Straw Hats vanished before their eyes.

"See ya! Hahaha!" Luffy laughed as they disappeared. Smoker looked up to the sky, deep in thought, as he gazed towards the direction of Alubarna.

On the other side of the Sandora River, near Alubarna, the Straw Hats appeared and collapsed to the ground. "What happened? I thought we were going to Alubarna," Nami said, looking around in confusion.

"Yeah, what is this place?" Usopp remarked, equally puzzled.

"Don't blame me. We're exactly where the duck is. It's not my fault that it's not in the city," Lucas replied, shrugging.

"Wait, the Super Spot-Billed Duck Squad? What are you doing here?" Vivi pondered, her curiosity piqued.

"He says they came here to help you," Chopper translated, understanding the ducks' speech.

"See, it's not my fault," Lucas remarked with a smirk.

"Fine. Well, at least we're close," Sanji said, pointing out that Alubarna was visible in the distance.

"Alright then. Let's see, we've got roughly four fighters, maybe and a half. Vivi will obviously go with Luffy, so they're excluded..." Lucas began.

"Hey! What do you mean 'and a half'?" Usopp debated in the background, feeling slighted.

"Why am I excluded?" Luffy remarked, confused.

"Well, you said you wanna take down Crocodile, right?" Lucas asked.

"Of course," Luffy replied, determination in his voice.

"Then you, along with Vivi, won't be going with us. Remember that there are still a few of Crocodile's henchmen that could pose a threat. We'll take care of them, and you will focus on Crocodile," Lucas explained.

"Oh, right, I see, I see," Luffy responded, nodding his head.

"Anyways, since there's no time," Lucas said with a smile.

"Hold on a sec, I've seen that smile before, wait a m..." Usopp began, but Lucas didn't wait. He paired them up, covering them in purple spheres: Vivi and Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper, Zoro, and Nami. Lucas then turned into Blocks, forming into a catapult.

"I'll fire everyone at the same time," he said, launching everyone straight towards Alubarna. He then turned into XLR8 and sped up behind them. Luffy was filled with laughter the whole time, enjoying his flight. Nami, Usopp, and Chopper screamed as they soared through the air.

"Reminds me of Bleach," Lucas remarked, observing them as they reached their marks. Luffy and Vivi landed at the center of the palace, Sanji and the others landed where Mr. 2 was, Zoro and Nami landed where Mr. 1 was, and Lucas arrived where Mr. 4 and the mole woman were.

"The civil war started much earlier, and it's already like this now," Lucas remarked, standing facing Mr. 4.

"What the heck are you supposed to be?" Drophy wondered, staring at XLR8.
