Chapter 34: Chapter 34: Blood, Pleasure, and Divine Games
One Week Later
A full week had passed since Kojou's victory over Voban. After the battle with Voban, Kojou fought against Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi, which had taken possession of Ena's body.
After crushing Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi, Kojou turned Ena into his Blood Servant and granted her the divine protection of the God of Victory, in order to save her from certain death caused by channeling a god's power through a human body.
However, after turning Ena into his Blood Servant, Kojou could no longer control himself. He spent the entire night locked in a battle with Ena—in bed.
To be fair, Kojou deserved some praise. After tasting the forbidden fruit with Asagi once, he never did it again and had managed to restrain himself even though Erica constantly tried to seduce him.
But upon seeing Ena's condition at that time, the last mental barrier within him crumbled. He ended up spending a passionate night with her, not stopping until she passed out from overwhelming pleasure.
The next day, he met with Erica, who brought along her friend, Liliana, who swore loyalty to him and became his Knight.
And now, one week later, Kojou had "eaten" Erica as well. He was currently on a plane headed toward Sardinia, where Doni was located, as he planned to retrieve a feather of Lucifer from him.
"Master, we're about to land," said Liliana respectfully. She was the perfect Knight—unlike Erica, who preferred to slack off and only got serious when the situation forced her to.
"I see… Thank you, Liliana," Kojou nodded and pulled out his phone to call a certain blond idiot.
{ Hello, it's rare for you to call me. }
The one on the other end of the line was Salvatore Doni, also known as the King of Swords.
{ Of course I'd call—I'm about to land in Sardinia, like you told me. We're supposed to meet, remember? }
Though Kojou spoke indifferently, he was secretly pleased. Doni had offered him a place to summon Lucifer, on the condition that Doni could watch the fight—and get the chance to fight Lucifer himself if Kojou couldn't defeat him.
Legends of Lucifer's incomprehensible power had spread everywhere. Many Campione had tried summoning him for battle, but he never responded. It seemed none of them were worthy of his time.
{ I see… Unfortunately, I can't come pick you up. I have something to do. But don't worry, I left Lucifer's feather at my holiday home in Zola. }
Though Doni wouldn't be able to witness Kojou's battle with Lucifer, he clearly wasn't disappointed—it seemed he had found something even more fun to do.
{ Fine. As we agreed, you're welcome to come watch the fight whenever you like. In return, I'll summon Lucifer here in Sardinia. }
The island Kojou was headed to was within Doni's territory. While Campione didn't have official domains, each one tended to operate in a specific region of the world, and intruding on another's turf was basically a declaration of war.
{ No problem. If I finish what I'm doing early, I'll come watch the fight with Lucifer—if you even manage to summon him. }
{ I don't care if you come or not. But if you try to pull any tricks and steal my opponent, I'll make sure you regret it. }
{ No need to worry. I might not even show up—there's a certain prey waiting to be hunted. Later. }
{ Alright. }
"Kojou, was that Lord Salvatore Doni?" asked Erica, clinging to Kojou's arm. She already knew about the agreement between Kojou and Doni.
"That's right. Seems he's busy, so he left the feather at Lucretia's holiday home," Kojou replied, putting away his phone after ending the call.
"Lord Salvatore Doni… skipped out on a fight to work?" Erica muttered in disbelief. Doni's irresponsible personality was well-known.
"From what I understood, he's probably going to fight a Heretic God—which counts as 'work' for a Campione," Kojou said indifferently. After all, it was hard to imagine that bastard Doni doing anything for real—he only cared about his own fun.
"I see… I thought he might've hit his head somewhere and turned into a normal person," Erica sighed in relief. The idea of Doni being normal was more terrifying than the Doni they already knew.
"You're right. That bastard acting normal is scarier than fighting ten Heretic Gods," Kojou couldn't help but agree with her. It was a nightmare he dared not imagine.
Though Ena and Liliana said nothing, they clearly agreed with Kojou and Erica's words.
"We've arrived, Master," Liliana announced respectfully, as the plane landed safely at the airport.
"Alright, let's go—Lucretia's waiting for us," Kojou said. When she heard they were coming to the island, Lucretia offered to host them at her vacation home, and they had accepted.
Kojou soon stepped off the private jet, flanked by three stunning beauties—the kind of sight that would make any man envious the moment they laid eyes on him.
And to make matters worse (or better, for Kojou), another mature and alluring woman was waiting for him as well.
Upon seeing this, the men at the airport could only weep tears of blood—they were ready to die just to be in Kojou's place.
