Chapter 69 - The Slum Boy’s Desperate Counterattack (14)
Anderson Military Academy was a school with strict regulations, but in reality, these rules only constrained ordinary interstellar citizens who joined the academy. For nobles and even members of the imperial family, they held no binding power whatsoever.
These noble students who disregarded the rules had always been a cancer within Anderson.
When Si Yisi received his admission documents, he immediately read through the terms. The moment he saw the clearly stated ‘Noble Division’ on the paperwork, he understood why Lin Xian had warned him to protect himself.
In the interstellar era, there were insurmountable barriers between social classes. Just like how Lin Xian’s father was a highly influential Marshal, yet Lin Xian still had no right to attend the Imperial Academy.
This was simply because before Marshal Lin had risen to his current position, he had been nothing more than an ordinary interstellar civilian, completely unrelated to nobility.
By all logic, Si’an shouldn’t have been admitted to the Noble Division, and yet, the notice he received was indeed for that division. In that instant, Si Yisi realized the truth.
He had been placed here to deal with these well-known cancers of the interstellar world. It was obvious that while an S+ level mental warrior granted Si Yisi many advantages, it also brought him immense pressure from various factions.
Who was behind this decision?
Si Yisi didn’t even need to think; he already knew it was Lin Xian’s acquaintance, the Principal of Anderson Military Academy.
This Principal always appeared kind, not at all like the strict, iron-fisted leader one might expect.
Yet his actions spoke otherwise; He had deliberately placed a boy born and raised in the slums into the Noble Division, showing complete disregard for Si Yisi’s survival. It was clear he saw Si Yisi as nothing more than a tool, something to be squeezed for every ounce of value he possessed.
Though the Principal showed no overt disdain for a “lowly commoner” from the slums, his actions proved that, deep down, he still did not see commoners as people.
At the core of it all, the “commoners” as a group were simply too weak; so insignificant that they didn’t even register in the eyes of these nobles.
I’m being used…
Faced with this predicament, Si Yisi merely raised an eyebrow and put away his admission documents. He still had to help Lisa pick out furniture—he was busy.
Changing the minds of these nobles wasn’t something that could be done overnight. The only way to truly make them understand the consequences of their arrogance was to let them suffer for it firsthand.
“Si’an… I don’t think this one will do. It’s too expensive.” Lisa shrank her neck, her entire posture exuding weakness and insecurity.
Si Yisi reached out and patted her shoulder from behind. Just as the nobles’ beliefs couldn’t be changed in a day, the deep-seated inferiority in Lisa’s heart wouldn’t disappear overnight either.
Fortunately, there was still over a month before Anderson Military Academy started. Time was on his side.
Si Yisi decided to use the methods he recalled from Si’an’s memories, helping Lisa improve little by little.

1 Month Later.
Anderson Military Academy started on time, with banners as vast as a star river stretched across the school, welcoming the incoming students.
Over the past month, Si Yisi had barely managed to transform Si’an’s frail body into something merely thin, with a slight layer of muscle covering his frame. However, he still looked too slender. His slightly long hair draped over his ears, and his skin was somewhat pale.
At a glance, he seemed easy to bully.
Lin Xian lazily strolled over and waved at Si Yisi. “Over here.”
Except for certain special occasions where he behaved differently, he always carried a languid, perpetually sleepy expression. According to his father, he was an idle slacker with no sense of propriety.
Si Yisi nodded at him but didn’t follow behind Lin Xian to the Noble Division. Instead, he walked alongside him.
Lin Xian was a well-known figure at Anderson Academy. Whether they were students from the Ordinary Division or the Noble Division, all of them instinctively turned to look at him. This, in turn, made them notice Si Yisi walking beside him.
Many students had puzzled expressions.
Who… is he?
Most of those feeling confused were from the Ordinary Division, while the students from the Noble Division exchanged meaningful glances the moment they saw Si Yisi.
“That’s the slum boy with S+ level mental power?”
“A sparrow that flew up to the branches and became a phoenix. Are you planning to recruit him?”
Today was only registration day; formal classes wouldn’t start until tomorrow. Yet, for some reason, nearly all the students from the Noble Division had shown up.
Ordinary Division students couldn’t help but whisper among themselves.
“What’s with those Noble Division guys? Why are they all here? They’re lined up so neatly, it’s like they’re ready for a harvest.”
“Uh… I don’t know either.” One of them scratched his head, then glanced over again and lowered his voice. “Did you notice… it looks like they’re deliberately crowding around someone?”
The student looked toward the Noble Division students and saw the pale sunlight casting a warm glow on one of their faces.
It was a thin young man, clearly smaller in stature compared to the Noble Division students. His clothes were so plain they seemed almost shabby, yet for some reason, his presence was in no way weaker than those “surrounding” him.
Si Yisi was subtly encircled by the Noble Division students. They all wore expressions of friendliness, their smiles polite yet utterly formulaic. More importantly, they surrounded him without actually doing anything.
Outside the encirclement, a few Ordinary Division students muttered in a jealous tone.
“Who is that? Why does he act so high and mighty?”
“Oh, I know.” One student spoke up. “My relative was there during his test; he’s from the slums.”
“…A commoner? Since when could commoners attend this school?! Is this some kind of miracle?”
“Shh… Let me tell you something; this guy tested as an S+ level mental warrior. He’s the real deal. So what if he’s a commoner? He has his own talent.”
No matter how it was said, their words were dripping with envy.
Si Yisi’s eyes darkened. He glanced at the Noble Division students, who were all projecting an air of warmth yet remained silent. Beneath their gazes, he sensed the undercurrents of something far more sinister.
As he thought; How could these nobles possibly do nothing?
No, they truly have done nothing.
But just by pretending to be friendly, they had already planted the seeds of resentment among the Ordinary Division students.
Only a few students had no interest in competing for status. For most, upon seeing someone born in the slums, someone supposedly worthless, so easily gain connections with nobles through sheer talent, jealousy naturally surged.
The Noble Division students had played this hand masterfully. Without lifting a single finger, they had turned those jealous students into weapons; blades poised to pierce Si Yisi’s chest.
A clever scheme.
Unfortunately, to Si Yisi, this was nothing at all.
Standing beside him, Lin Xian was naturally aware of what was happening, but he only gave Si Yisi an encouraging smile; his lips curled up lazily, exuding pure indifference.
Si Yisi noticed Lin Xian’s gaze, his dark eyes appearing utterly empty.
For a brief moment, Lin Xian had the illusion that Si Yisi hadn’t taken the Noble Division students’ petty tricks seriously at all. It was absolute disdain.
Lin Xian’s heart skipped a beat. When he looked at Si Yisi again, those black eyes had returned to their usual soft and gentle state.

After a brief moment of silent confrontation between the Noble Division students and Si Yisi, someone approached from a distance. Upon seeing him, the Noble Division students immediately greeted him in unison.
“Greetings, Your Highness, Third Prince.”
Tru walked toward them against the sunlight, dressed in luxurious attire and carrying the imposing presence of a prince. No matter how one looked at it, he completely overshadowed Si Yisi.
Yet Si Yisi simply watched Tru in silence, as if he were nothing more than a clown performing for attention.
Their eyes met.
