(Peter: POV)

Harry now out of harms way I prepared to go and deal with Li and his goons.

As such I slipped out of the room they had Harry stored and then headed for one of the walls, which I walked up until I reached the warehouse ceiling.

After I did I jumped down onto the warehouses second floor and then like the main characters in the Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell games, which both exist in this reality, I stealthy knocked out each and every one of Li's men on the second floor.

Before heading outside to do the same to the men guarding the perimeter.

Who normally I wouldn't have been so gently with.

But since this is my first major operation as Spiderman I want to leave Li and his men I'm not some sort of happy go-lucky vigilante. That will basically kill anyone for basically being associated with crime, like Frank Castle.

Who thankfully is not a thing in this world, and won't be if I have anything to say about.

If his origin story is the same as it is in the MCU.

Since I don't think any man should have to suffer what Frank goes through, losing his entire family.

So if I can I'll make sure to prevent it.

Then I'll even help him out by having him come work for me in the future.

That way I can point the loaded gun that is Castle in the right direction before pulling the trigger.

Not to mention if Li's origin story is exactly like it is from the Insomniac games then in reality he truly is a good man, with a shot at redemption.

So I am hoping my sending him to jail will turn him away from the path of villainy.

But if not then next time we come across one other...well as HK-47 from Star Wars would say I'll be exterminating some meat bags.

Because with me you get one, and I mean one chance to start over.

Most of the time.

But the criminals I know won't even try to redeem themselves, oh their asses are already six feet under.

They just don't know it yet.

Anyway.

After finishing off the guards on the outside of the warehouse perimeters I went back in and then made my way down to the ground floor.

Where I then began taking out all the guards on it.

Having webbed up all my enemies, until only a few guards and Li himself remained.

Once this was the case I saw no more need from subtly.

So with that I deactivated my invisiblility spell, shot some web lines onto the railing near the only office in the warehouse, and then launched myself at it.

Crashing through the window I tucked and rolled before jumping back up to my feet.

When I did I found Li and four of his guards, all of whom were carrying automatic rifles, looking in my direction with utter shock and surprise on their faces.

"Yo." I said.

"Hey, it's that Spider guy." One of the goons said.

"Actually it's Spiderman. Pending trademark name by the way." I replied.

"Kill him." Li said, without any hesitation.

When he did his men aimed their weapons at me and pulled the trigger.

But thanks for my Spider sense I was easily able to dodge all their gunfire, like a person from the Matrix films.

As I did I wiped a fake tear away from my left eye. "Ah, so mean. And we only just met Mr. Penguin."

"It's Mister Negative!" Li angrily replied. Firing off several blasts of Darkforce energy in my direction.

Seeing this I dove back out the window and landed on the ground, quickly turning around.

Just as I did Li jumped out of the office window and landed right in front of me.

His men exiting the office quickly to join him.

All of them getting shocked looked on their faces once again.

Definitely because all their allies were webbed together, hanging in the middle of the room.

Right alongside all their weapons.

"Wow touchy. Was it something I said Mr. Penguin?" I asked.

While jumping over Li and firing some webbing at his remaining men's weapons.

Which I then pulled toward me, dragging the men and their weapons in my direction. Until they all fell over the railing.

But before they hit the ground I jumped up to where they were just standing and we need their legs to make sure none of them hit the ground.

After which I jumped again to avoid another round of Darkforce energy blasts from Li.

Who looked to be getting angrier by the second.

Though I have no idea as to why.

"I hope you're ready to die for your fallie Spider!" Li shouted.

"Yeesh Mr. Pen-"

"I'm not a Penguin!" Li shouted, interrupting me. As he fired off even more blasts of energy.

But using my acrobatic skills I dodged each and every one.

"Well you have a black and white color scheme, and you're wearing a suit. So I thought you were trying to imitate a penguin with that outfit. Or am I wrong?" I spoke. Firing off a shot of webbing that hit Li right in the eyes.

"Ah, my eyes!" He shouted. Moving his hands up to his face to remove the webbing.

As he did I quickly opened up a portal in front of me and behind Li and slipped through them.

I then slammed them shut before I delivered a number of quickl jabs and kicks to Li's back.

"Agh!" He roared.

Moving to swing at me.

But simply stepping back I easily evaded it.

I then delivered a left uppercut to Li's jaw, sending him flying into the air.

But I didn't stop there.

Firing two weblines up to the ceiling I launched myself up above Li, before letting go of them and rocketing towards the man feet first.

I then landed a double-kick right into Li's chest, all the way till he hit the ground.

Our impact creating a small crater in the warehouse floor.

Once this happened I immediately jumped a few feet back from Li.

Since there is no way In letting him using his corrupting touch on me.

Especially since it allowed him to see a person's memories in the game and I don't have any suitable mental defenses yet.

Which I definitely need to take care of pronto, considering how many beings and tech that allows people to read minds and peer into another memories their exists in Marvel.

Making a quick mental note to ask Yao about that as soon as possible I focused all my attention back on Li.

Waiting to see if he got back up.

Which thankfully he did not.

After seeing this I jumped up to the ceiling and then captured Li in my webs to hang his ass upside down like most of his henchmen.

I then moved out of few, since I didn't want the bad guys knowing about my magic, and portal'd back to the office building to retrieve Harry.

Where I undid the forces sleeping spell on him.

I then took him back to the warehouse and prepared to notify the police of our location.

"Mhm, what?" Harry grumbled. Slowly opening his eyes. "Wait, your Spiderman?" He said.

"Yep. And no need to thank em for saving you. It's all in a days work for a hero like me." I said.

Though right after I did the front doors of the warehouse slid open and a limo drove inside.

After which three people immediately exited the vehicle.

Two more of Li's men.

Along with Norman Osborn, carrying a briefcase.

Upon seeing me they all looked stunned.

"Well...this is awkward."

(3rd Person: POV)

Left speechless Norman couldn't believe what he was seeing in front of him.

Spiderman, with his son.

Along wirh numerous men and weapons dangling from the ceiling. Including one that looked different from the rest.

His body was faintly glowing with some sort of energy.

But before Norman had time to put some actual brain power into Li, his two men immediately pulled their hidden guns and aimed them in Harry and Peter's direction.

But before either of them could make a real move Peter fired two shots of webbing at their eyes, blinding both them.

Once this happened he then immediately put Harry down, disarmed the men, and then knocked them out.

After this he looked directly at Norman Osborn.

Who looked right back at him.

"So you're Spiderman." Norman said.

"Yes." He easily replied. "Come on, let's get to you to your son Mr. Osborn." He said.

"Right." Norman replied.

He then followed behind Peter until they reached Harry.

Who Peter then easily freed from the ropes binding his arms and legs by ripping them off.

After this occured he stepped back, and didn't after he did Norman moved to engulf his son in a tight hug. "Harry. My boy. I'm so glad. You're safe."

"Yeah dad. I am. I'm safe." Harry replied. "And it's all thanks to Spiderman." He spoke.

"Really?" Norman asked. Separating from their hug.

Harry nodded.

"Yeah." Harry replied. "He saved me from these guys." He spoke.

Harry then looked in Spiderman direction.

Norman following his lead.

Finding the webslinger using cellphone he confiscated from one of Li men.

"Yeah, that's right. At the docks. Get your asses down here quickly." Peter spoke into the phone, disgusting his voice.

He then ended the call. After which he turned to face the father and son duo once more.

"Did you really save my son Spiderman?" Norman asked.

"I did." Peter replied.

"Why? How? For that matter who are you?" Norman questioned. Since he truly wanted to know all about Spiderman. For it may help him find his former friend Richard and his wife.

"To your first question, it's because your son needed help and I decided to do so. But to questions two and three I'm afraid you aren't getting those answers tonight." Peter replied.

Since he still didn't know how much he could trust his universes version of Norman Osborn.

Considerimg the incident he currently just wrapped with Li was likely a direct result of Normans' actions.

But it also told Peter that just like in the games Harry and his mother Emily likely had the same genetic disease that was slowly killing them.

So he could understand why Norman did what he did.

Still, he's not going to blindly put his trust in the man like other version of Peter Parker would.

No, Norman requires further investigation for sure.

As Peter made a mental note of this he heard police sirens approaching their location.

"And that would be my que to exit stage left. Well bye for now." Peter said.

"Wait!" Norman shouted.

But Peter ignored him as he webbed up to the second floor of the warehouse and then exited through one of the windows.

The police, led by captain George Stacey arriving seconds after he did.

"NYPD, nobody move!" Stacey shouted. Leading the charge into the warehouse, his gun raised.

Only for he, and his officers, all to look as dumbfounded as Norman did a while ago when they entered.

"Mr. Osborn." George said.

"Captain Stacy." Norman replied. Having met the man earlier, since he was in charge of Harry kidnapping case.

Which was now officially over.

Realizing this Norman breathed a sigh of relief.

Never realizing the briefcase he has been carrying holding the GR-27 had disappeared.

(Peter: POV)

My invisiblility spell active once again I watched and waited as Norman and Harry were properly escorted out of the warehouse by the police.

I also waited to leave until all of Li and his men were safely secure.

Once they were I left the docks and undid my invisiblility spell.

I then portal'd back to the Spider's Den, where the briefcase I portal'd there earlier, that I swiped from Norman when was wasn't looking at the warehouse, was ready and waiting.

Moving towards it I quickly scanned it with spells to make sure there were no tracking devices on it, nor was it protected by any security measures.

Seeing it was the case with neither I moved it into the train car, and then placed it into the containment unit.

After which I opened it up, finding three vials of GR-27 also known as "Devil's Breath" inside the case.

A medical virus developed by Oscorp Industries, that should in theory be able to cure genetic diseases such as cystic fibrosis and Huntington's disease.

Norman having developed it to save Emily and Harry from their genetic disease.

However he and his scientist could never get the virus quite right. Thus it came more of a bioweapon than any sort of cure. It was also what was responsible for giving Martin Li his powers, which directly resulted in the deaths of his parents.

Looking at the highly dangerous substance I now knew Martin planned to carry out the exact same plan he had in the Insomniac games.

Making me even more glad I stopped him.

As well as swiped this Devil Breath.

Because with my smarts I think I can perfect. Meaning genetic diseases will be a thing of the past.

I also want to study it to see how it gave Li his powers in the first place.

Because if it gave him powers then why can't it do the same for others?

Looks like I was right to re-appropriate this briefcase.

Yes, it was all for the greater good.

Mine that is.
