Chapter 2: Heath Vader
---
After meeting the girl named Melanie Garp, who was supposed to be his maid, Heath discovered something extraordinary: magical powers existed in this world. However, there was a problem—there was a Demon Zone known as the Dark Symbol Zone. Despite this, Heath didn't care about the Dark Symbol Zone or demons. He simply wanted a normal and peaceful life. Unfortunately, fate had other plans, and he found himself thrust into a royal life once again after his reincarnation, a life he had been waiting for years.
But Heath didn't lose all hope; he thought he could still enjoy this new life. After some time, he turned to Melanie and said, "Please, can you take me out? I want to explore more of this place."
Melanie responded, "Yes, sir, I will take you out, but there's a problem."
Heath asked, "What is it?"
Melanie replied, "You don't know about this? I thought all aristocrats were aware of it because it was part of their plan. By the way, if your father didn't tell you, I can."
Heath said, "I'm sorry, but can you tell me my father's name? I have memory loss syndrome, so I can't remember."
Melanie, surprised, said, "Huh, you have memory loss syndrome? Why don't you go to the hospital? You're an aristocrat, so you'll receive good treatment."
Heath answered, "No, you've got it wrong. This syndrome is common; one in ten people get it, and it usually recovers in less than three months. Don't tell anyone about it."
Melanie replied, "Okay, I won't say a word. But your father's name is Yorseg Vader."
Heath was taken aback. "Yorseg Vader, huh?"
Melanie nodded, "Yes, are you surprised? I was too. His name sounds like the villain from a movie. And please don't get angry, but your name is also a bit like that of an evil villain."
Heath chuckled, "Ah, yes, I was also shocked when I first heard my name. So, what was the problem?"
Melanie explained, "There's a fighting tournament, but it's no ordinary tournament. It's a magical fighting tournament, and big players like you place bets on the fighters they think will win. And as I recall, you placed a bet on a fighter named Lucaris."
Heath replied, "A magical fighting tournament? What kind of tournament is this? And I placed a bet on Lucaris?"
Melanie nodded. "Yes, you bet on him. This is the first magical fighting tournament in history where wizards and aristocrats battle each other. There are two groups: one of wizards and the other of aristocrats."
Heath shook his head. "But I don't have any magical powers. How can I fight them? And honestly, I'm not interested in fighting. I'm not a warrior."
Melanie responded, "But you have to fight. Your father chose you from our family to participate. If you don't, your family will suffer a bad reputation."
Heath replied, "I don't care about that. I'm here for a peaceful life, and I will never fight anyone."
Melanie sighed. "As you wish, sir. But first, you need to meet Lucaris."
Melanie went to fetch Lucaris and brought him to meet Heath. When Lucaris arrived and saw Heath, he was momentarily shocked. Heath was known as a ruthless, cold man who cared for nothing but his own work and knowledge. He was a merciless individual who had mastered dark psychology and was the mastermind behind the Eldora War. He also wielded powerful demonic energy.
Heath broke the silence, "Are you the one I placed my bet on?"
Lucaris was confused by Heath's words, but Melanie quickly explained, "Don't be shocked. He has memory loss syndrome, but it will recover in three or four months."
Lucaris replied, "What a relief. But I know he has an enormous amount of magical power. I hope he hasn't forgotten too much."
Melanie turned to Heath. "Sir, do you know how to use your magical powers?"
Heath sighed, "Oh, I have magical powers, but unfortunately, I don't know how to use them."
Lucaris said, "But the tournament is in three days. How can you fight without magical powers?"
Heath replied, "I don't need to fight. I am a saint who has left everything behind."
Melanie started to walk downstairs, and Lucaris followed up. "Are you crazy? You're not going to fight? Your family's reputation will suffer!"
Heath answered calmly, "No, I'm telling you again and again, I'm a saint and a Stoic who has renounced everything."
Lucaris protested, "But you—"
Heath interrupted, "No more talking. I have to go explore this country."
Lucaris was perplexed. "This country? What do you mean by that? You were born here, and now you're acting like you're from another nation or world."
Heath replied as he headed downstairs, "I don't mean that. But since I lost my memory, I don't remember any moments spent in this country, Eldora."
Lucaris shook his head, "Well, I don't care about that. But you have to fight. You're the son of the most powerful aristocratic family, the Vader family. You have the magical power to defeat thousands of ogres at once. Demons fear your name and call you a heartless monster who kills everyone who opposes you. Don't you remember the past few years? You were on the verge of conquering the world. You're the merciless warrior who once killed your own brother, Drak Vader."
Heath felt a cold chill run down his spine from Lucaris' words. He asked, "Why did I kill my own brother?"
Lucaris answered, "Because he betrayed you during the war. He sent important plans to the enemy."
Heath asked, "War? What kind of war was it, and who was behind it?"
Lucaris explained, "It was a magical war where the mages of five nations teamed up to fight against Eldora. It took place fifteen years ago. The real mastermind behind it was you. You stood alone against the combined forces of five nations, fifty million soldiers, demons, ogres, and legendary magical beasts. You were known as Dark Heath."
Heath felt a surge of adrenaline and goosebumps. "Was I really that strong? Why did demons and ogres team up with humans? And if the war happened fifteen years ago, how old am I? I thought I was in my early twenties."
Lucaris replied, "You are the most powerful magician of all time. You've lived for seven hundred years. Demons and ogres teamed up to defeat you because you killed their two demon kings, Asura and Haschwalth. They sought revenge for their kings. But you were defeated because your own people betrayed you, even your brother, Drak Vader."
Heath's world seemed to spin. "So, I was defeated? But what happened after that?"
Lucaris continued, "I was the one who saved you. For the past fifteen years, people have believed you were dead."
Hearing this, Heath felt a surge of energy and testosterone coursing through him, as if the truth of his past was awakening something deep within him.
