The Life of an Overpowered Elf

As the Guards waved their spears in her face Bree decided to properly introduce herself, "I'm the lady who ate your Anti-magical Barrier, I've come to speak with Thomas on behalf of Mila and Argit," Bree received a split reaction from the guards, some stood their ground while some got back into their guarding stance to let her pass. Bree soon found the Guard Captain was on the latter side when he called out loudly.

"Let her pass soldiers," He declared.

"We can't just let some bug thing, claiming to be sent by the queen, into the-" The guard who spoke up was smacked across the face by one of his fellow guards.

"Learn to read the newspapers moron," She hissed before he was forcefully pulled out of the way by a few other guards, "That lady is the one who beat Demon Lord Argit,"

"They called me Bug eyed didn't they," Bree demanded before shaking her head "No, don't tell me, It'll just make me mad," Bree began walking towards the door before calling to the guards "Oh by the way, the reason I'm here is because Thomas has allegedly put an assasination hit out on his wife, if the allegations are true I advise you all pick a side, just know both I and Argit will side with the Queen,"

Bree opened the door and met with no opposition as she walked inside, using her tracking spell to quickly locate Thomas in the massive structure. She made her way through the long unfamiliar halls and slowly made her way closer to Thomas.

Bree had just made it to the third floor when she was hit in the face with something that burst into rubble against her face, Bree frowned and turned to see the king's young son holding a slingshot, already loading up another small rock.

"Don't move," He giggled "I wanna hit your eye," He aimed, shot, and Bree swatted the rock away with ease, "Hey, I said don't move, I'll tell Daddy you spoke to me, if you don't listen to me,"

"Your a pathetic brat," Bree said plain and simply, "Your attitude is fowl and the fact you're using your fathers threat of death to try and torment me makes me hate you personally,"

"Oh Daddy," He sang out "An ugly Bug hag spoke to me, lob her head off daddy," The boy ran away laughing and Bree just followed after him shaking her head. She followed him to what looked to be a war room of some kind, inside Thomas was speaking to an overweight balding man dressed in fancy robes.

"Now them, once she's taken care of your forces will empty the school," Thomas said simply "Any who fight will be declared allies of the Demon Lords and executed, once they know their place we'll make the students and faculty part of the army and with them we will lay siege to Cleminz before we take Mimzy's head,"

"Wonderfully done Thomas," The overweight man said as the King Greeted his son "On behalf of the high priest of Salvo I thank you for your aid in these matters, you shall be honored once we finally reach the Obsidian Pillar,"

"You have got to be fucking joking," Bree said gaining the rooms attentinon "Your trying to kill your wife becasue a pysco cult pretending to be a religion asked you to?" Bree shook her head "Sweet mother of creation I hate you,"

"That's her daddy," the prince declaired "The big eyes hag who spoke to me,"

"You dare speak to Charles again!?" The King demanded "Your just another example of the Demon Lords lies, brining you here, claiming you to be an elf,"

"And elf?" The Man laughed "Looks more like the sad results of a Insectoid breeding with a Goblin,"

"You best keep your mouth shut before you give me more of a reason to hate you Savlo guy," Bree said irritably.

"Oh no," He said mockingly "Take care of this Demon lord's dog so we can get back on track," Bree's senses went off and she felt actual danger nearby and held her hands up.

"Absolute Defence," She said just before two small knives enchanted with absolute severance hit her neck and proceeded to shatter against her skin. Her would-be assassin's took a step back in shock before Bree turned to him and held up her hand.

"Anti-Life," She said irritably, the assassin attempted to flee only for their body to be bathed in red life, leaving only their clothes to fall to the ground. "This entire country has been nothing but awful," Bree said irritably, muttering that the school had mostly been alright as an after thought.

"Anti-life?" The Savlo leader pondered "I've never heard of such a spell, take the Bug Goblin alive, she has proven she is worth something,"

"What, this woman has broken my greatest law, She must be put to death,"

"My Name is Bree," She said angrily as her calm expression changed into one of anger "And I am neither an Bug nor a Goblin," Bree felt herself being surrounded, the invisible assassin lurking about easy to spot now that she was actively looking for people who were invisible.

"And you lot better back off," She added, turning to a assassin attempting to put a damp cloth over her mouth, they took a step back as she looked around at them "Yeah, I can see you dumbasses now that I know to look, best go lock your asses in the dungeon, because I'm not feeling very merciful anymore and the first person to touch me…"

One of the assassins attempted to jump her with a cloth while she had her back to them and a vein burst to life and impaled him through the chest, the other would be assassins all began backing away.

"Dungeon," She repeated "And if your not there when I go to check I'll hunt each and every one of you down and feed you to a giant cat, and I assure he he loves it when his foods still alive so he can play with it a little, so I can promise it won't be a swift end," Bree waited as the assassins ran away from her and she looked to see the overweight man walking to her with his arms held out.

"Come now child, you know the Demon lords lie, you know this to be true in your heart," Bree frowned as an odd scent hit her nose as the man got closer "Join Savlo and together we can open the great Obsidian Pillar and share it's bounty with the world, the miracle it hides shall make us all gods among mortals," Bree stared at the man who just smirked at her.

"Is that a love potion?" Bree realized making the man falter "some kind of mind control mist maybe?" Bree sniffed the sickly sweet smell and shook her head "No…it's something slightly more subtle, I'm guessing it lets you put thoughts into peoples heads and make them think they thought of it?" The Man walked away from her with a confused look.

"That's not possible," He said in terror "No creature should be able to resist it,"

"Oh, how about we test it then," Bree cut a doorway in the air and called out, "Annie," Bree waited roughly half a second before Annie appeared at her side, she stood at the ready, but stopped at the sudden smell.

"What is this?" Annie demanded as she tried to identify the scent.

"Kill them," Thomas demanded "Kill them now," His guards began advancing and Annie pointed her needle, then set it down without seemingly moving, she turned back to Bree as all the guards fell to the ground dead.

"My Lady, are you ok?" Annie asked, clearly worried about the mind control mist in the air

"Annie watch these guys, gonna go make sure the assassins don't try to make a run for Mila just to spite me, just don't kill the king, the kid, or the fat bald guy if you can help it," Bree hovered slightly in the air before she shot away and Annie turned at the men with her needle drawn.

"Annie," The Large man said with a smile "Why do you follow that worthless woman? You're clearly stronger than her, she is nothing, just a jailer, break free of your chains of oppression, take her down and follow me to the path of freedom," Annie stared at him as a look of rage slowly overtoo her face.

"Worthless?" She demanded, her voice shaking with unbridled rage as she raised her needle.

Bree appeared back in the hall outside the room, having found the assassins cowering in a cell, she found Annie now on her hands and knees bowing to her "Forgive me," She pleaded, Bree looked behind Annie and found Thomas holding his son while the bald man now lay half dead on the floor.

"Was not a very smart man," Bree chuckled. "No worried he's still breathing, let's take him and Thomas to Mila, I'm sure she and Argit would both like a word or two with 'em.

"Do…do you know who I am!?" Thomas demanded as he attempted to get up. "I will…" Bree shot up to him and put her hand around his throat, forcing him to his knees.

"Shut up you annoying bastard," Bree demanded "Say anything else and I'll have Annie cut your tongue out," Bree used her other hand and grabbed the son as he attempted to swing at her, She opened a doorway to the dining room she had first met Thomas in and shoved the son into it before closing it just to be rid of him.

"I know your very full of yourself," Bree said "I've met a lot of people who always go on and on with the 'do you know who I am" and "I'm so important" and other pompas things, well I'm done with taking it from you, your like a tiny dog constantly yapping, but your not my dog to deal with are you?" Bree close her eyes for a moment before reaching forward and forcefully entering into Thomases inventotry space, she found what she wanted and took it, pulling it into her inventory before opening a doorway and tossing Thomas through, with Annie dragging the overweight man after her in silence, Upon returning Bree found Olu was handing Mila a cup of tea.

"Ah, and here she is now," Olu smiled as Bree walked through with a merry wave.

"Olu, so nice to see you, sorry I didn't call you but you have a class to teach and I didn't want to interrupt that,"

"Oh I'm hardly doing much teaching," he chuckled,more watching than anything else, honestly. And regardless all classes were canceled due to a sudden Honey Bear attack,"

"Thomas," Mila said with a tinge of rage in her voice, "I can't even look at you right not, Argit you deal with this," Mila sipped her tea as Argit crouched down and shook his head at the cowering king.

"Salvo Thomas?" he asked, "You were going to kill your wife for Salvo?" Thomas looked at Argit with fear only for the overweight guy to croak out

"Do not fear the Demon," he said with determination "The Pillair will be opened and your lies will be proven to the world, you must all hear and believe me, the Demon lords are your enemy, Salvo is your salvation!"

"Yeah nice try," Bree said with a shake of her head "But the air is filled with Honey bear stink, ain't no one being hypnotized by your sweet smelling hypnosis mist,"

"Typical Salvo move," Argit sighed "Hypnosis and drugs, Alright I'm gonna take this lovely fellow," Argit picked up Thomas as he spoke "And have him searched for signs of hypnosis, if nothing comes up I'm taking him to Mimzy, I'm sure they have lots of fun things to talk about,"

"Just get him away from me," Mila muttered "I have a school and a country to run for the foreseeable future,"

"Hey what about tubs over here?" Bree asked, "Is he good for anything?"

"Nope," Argit shrugged "He'll just lie and wait for someone he can drug to come around to free him,"

"Right then," Bree said as she opened a doorway and took a deep breath before whistling. "Orion," Bree waited a moment before a scream sounded out.

"Orion heads the call of his name best of all," He declaird as he bounded through the portal on all four, with Silver and Beth riding on his back.

"Lady Bree," Silver greeted as his look of confusion changed to delight "So lovely to see you,"

"Hello my lady," Beth greeted politely, her hands planted firmly on Silver's head to keep it in place.

"Orion has arrived," Orion declared proudly "he has heard his name and responded to it across space and time,"

"Of course," Bree smiled as she shut her doorway behind him "Orion, I got you a new toy! He attempted to drug me, so don't feel bad if you break him,"

The Large man attempted to crawl away but Orion simply got on his hind legs and picked the Man up with ease.

"This guy?" Orion asked as she shook the man around at Bree.

"Yep," Bree confirmed, The Overweight man attempted to cry out before Orion dropped him on his head, the man crumpled but was still breathing as Orion stomped on him to check just that before scooping him back up and chew on him lightly.

"Brutal," Argit held up one finger and poked Thomas, who's eyes rolled into the back of his head, Argit dropped him and he fell unconscious to the ground. Bree gave Orion a soft pat as she emptied the Salvo's man inventory finding nothing she'd want to keep.

"Orion plays with new toys most excitedly of all," He declared proudly.

"I suppose I should go back to the greenhouse," Bree noted at the look on Mila's face "Oh yes, class is cancled,"

"Oh, no worries, theres still plenty of daylight left, Just give me a moment to reinstate the school day," Bree opened the doorway and Silver and Beth wished her a good day before Orion ran through the portal screaming about being the best at using the portals.

"One last thing," Bree turned as Mila called to her before she could teleport back to the Greenhouse, "You mentioned you could stay a day or two,"

"Indeed I did," Bree confirmed, "And I think two is a nice even number, it'll be nice, why did you have something other than a Greenhouse for me to work in?"

"Mr Yorgan and Mrs Houston are brining both of their classes together tommorow for a lecture about old magics, and I seem to recall something about you being able to use Ice Magic?"

"Oh That sounds like fun," Bree offered a hand and Mila shook it, "I'd hate to waist the offer of a room either way so I'd have to spend the night either way," Bree turned to Olu, "Will you be staying a second day or going home tonight?"

Olu lauhghed at the question, "I was going to ask to say an extra day, a day of observation is hardly any fun, tommorow promises a few sword lessons, and I even get to bop 'em something firece if and when they do something stupiud!"

"Perfect, come along Annie," Bree smiled "I'll take you back to my room for a quick drink, and then I have a class to finish, You can even come join me this time if you'd like,"

Bree Sipped as a her thermos of Coffee and watched as her temporary students finished topping off their plants. Lenny was looking at his Fern silently at the fact that his brothers had been arrested for an assasination attempt. Sitting next to him was Hanna, who was helping him to water his plan and attempting to take his mind off his brothers and what punishment was to befall them for their actions.

"Do it again," Jasper demanded excitedly as he and Kipo looked at Annie, Jasper held up one of his text books and tossed it into the air, Annie slashed it into pieces, the pieces began scattering before Annie slashed again and put the book back together, Jasper caught it and gave it a shake, finding no pages lose as he did so.

"Oh that's so cool," he said "I wanna learn how to do that,"

"It must require a lot of precision to do that," Kipo muttered "Your amazing ma'am,"

"I am aware," Annie replied simply, before Kipo could say more there was a loud scream and everyone turned as B spun on the spot, coated in dirt as he motioned towards April and May.

"I just realized I never told you how beautiful your Bonsai Trees are," He declared "April your Geo-tree is stunning and powerful, May your water Bonsai is elegant and beautiful, all four of these qualities clearly inspired by the both of you," May and April looked at B blandly before looking back to their trees.

"Leave us alone Lizard Perv," They decided in unison.

"I have never done anything Pervy in my life" B defended "But I will still allow everyone to call me one because it makes you both so happy!"

"B, please stop," Chauncy begged as he attempted to drag his friend away.

"You're making a fool out of all three of us," Bellamy agreed as he put a barrier in front of B's face and used it to begin shoving him back.

"At least he seems happy," Bree noted as B stopped swooning and went back to making sure his Windmill wasn't in danger of being uprooted. "Lenny," Bree turned the down trotend Tripplet and simply shook her head "I do hope you won't suffer any repercussions from your brothers actions,"

"Oh no, I'm sure father will cause nothing but problems once he hears what my brothers attempted to do," Lenny chuckled, "not that he'll be able to do much, Oasis is barely a nation, it's hobbling on it's last leg and with what my brothers have done, and my refusal to take over as leader once I come of age, I do believe my father will be it's finally king,"

"From the ashes of the fallen come new life," Jasper said before scratching his chin with a frown "I think I've heard someone say that before?" Jasper shook her his "Whatever, point is I'm sure someone will find a use for that old dust bowl you call home, maybe a Demon King will terraform it into something better than a few miled of grass and trees surounded by hundreds of meters worth of endless sand with a handful of single deep pools of water,"

Bree walked away from the conversation and began inspecting to make sure all of the Plants had been properly set into the ground, Bree smiled and wrote her final grading on her clipboard before opening a small dimensional door and tossing it though, having it land on Mila's desk.

"Well then," Bree said as she turned to her students "This concludes our time together, you've all done wonderful, it's completely up to you if you wish to continue using plant magic or wish to focus on other fields, I'm only a sub so I have no real say in you curriculum, but It has been a fairly enjoyable day," Bree earned a jumbled goodbye from the students and simply waved goodbye before she began walking away, with Annie following after her.

"They where fun," Bree decided, "I wonder if the lecture will be any fun," She chuckled, "Probably not, but then again I do always end up at the wrong place at the perfect time,"

"It's a wonderful skill of yours my lady," Annie assured her as Bree cut open a dimensional door and lead the way back into their small shared abode.

"Oh I've been waiting for," Bree turned giddy as she looked at Annie with a gleam in her eye, "Now then Annie, we have to stay the night, and we simply can't let you sleep in that bed while wearing your Maid outfit,"

"You require me to disrobe?" Annie asked, fully prepared to strip at comand.

"And change into this!" Bree reached into her inventory, and pulled out something she had been working on in private not to long after enterring the world, pulling out a fluffly black robe with Annie's name writen on the back with gold letters.

"A Present?" Annie asked as she was handed the robe, holding it with the tenderness one might expect from someone holding a newborn child.

"Try it on," Bree said in excitement as her clothes turned to light and where swiftly replaced with a matching golden robe, housing her name on the back in black letters Letters, Bree tied her's shut and turned just as Annie finished putting hers on, she didn't tie it but as she had nothing going on it just exposed her pushy skin to Bree.

Bree tied it shut for her and set to work helping Annie prepare a simple meal that was slightly reminisent of a frozen Dinner, altought the food itself was odd looking, a slice of something called a Juniper Berry pie that looked almost like a meat pie, several strips of what she could have sworn was bacon but was apparently a vegetable, and slab of meat coated in sauce that apparently originated from something called an Magma Mantatie.

Annie effortly set everything up, all the while Bree tried to get the odd device that made Coffee to work since it's side said it also made Tea, Annie once again effortlessly got it to work, stating such small things where obviously benather her mistress hench why she couldn't get it to work,"

Bree gave up on providing aid and let Annie get to work, Bree Finished off the Coffee in her thermos and Annie rushed to clean it, her speed allowing her to multitask to the extend that she was doing the work of three people, cleaning a few dishes, making sure the frozen dinner was cooking well in Bree had thought was a oven, but functioned more like a microwave, all the while Annie took great care the Tea was at the perfect tempratrue before putting in two sugar cubes and stiring it.

Annie had to slow down to hand off the tea, zipped back to finishing the dishes, and took the Meal out of the oven.

"Mistress surely I could just have Boris and Manfred cook you a meal and deliver it," Annie's tone was tense, as though the tought of handing the food to Bree was comprable to posioning her.

"Nonsence, I have to check if it's at least a decent meal," Bree said as she picked up a metal spork and knife, "If it passes the test I can look into were we can get shipments sent in to Green-water, all the citizens have are crab and I'd like to give them the option to purcase anything else, and this should just barely be passable, good enough to eat for a meal or two but not so good I might crash the crab market,"

"Your such a passionet Queen," Annie sounded like she might cry, Bree did her best not to react, having in fact been so entralled at the consept that fridges existed she hadn't even thought of Boris of Manfred and had in truth just really wanted to try to Frozen Dinner to see if it might remind her of her old life.

As she ate the meal she had a breif flash of her old life before she had become obsessed with the game, memories of the Grandparents fluttered her mind, spending the weekends with them when she had been in school, her Grandma's pie that she had long forgotten the name and flavor of, her Grandpa sitting in his old rocking chair petting his fat tabby cat.

"OH," She muttered as the old cat filled her mind, when her Grandparents had passed away she'd taken care of it for a few months before it to passed away, she had only just stated the game during that time, and when it had finnaly passed away in it's sleep at the ripe old kitty age of seventeen she'd used an old photo of it to hunt down a giant cat in the games wilderness, she'd spent weeks until she found a near perfect duplicant of it, she'd even copyed his name onto his virtual memorial.

"Is something wrong Ma'am?" Annie asked, Bree looked over to Annie and smiled.

"Oh nothing," She said as she after swallowing some of the odd tasting Pie, "Just reminiscing on when I first found Orion,"

"Found?" Annie asked with interest, "Do you not mean Create?"

"Oh no," Bree smiled, "You were the first NPC I created from scratch, I suppose you could say I found Sheepy and Orion the same way I found the Axol-mights," Bree ate more of the pie, each taste making her want to taste her Grandmothers old Pie recipe, but she simply couldn't remember exactly what it had tasted like.

"Is something wrong?" Annie asked as she saw the wistful look in Bree's eyes, knowing just how rare a sight it was to see her mistress change her facial expression.

"No," Bree replied as she finished the pie and moved on to the none meat bacon and the Mantite meat, "Just reminiscing on times of old, don't mind me Annie, how about you try your hand at fixing up that bed, I saw how much you disliked the look of it upon us entering,"

Annie hurried to do as she was told, but stopped for a moment and looked back at her mistress, whose face had returned to normal.

"I should mention this to Winnie when I get a chance," Annie decided as she continued to the bed and set to work trying to make it less pathetic.
