SWNOVELXO Chapter 66: Family
Garp is in front of Luffy who is running up to save Ace, Garp doesn't want this to happen because he's his grandson and the worse is that one of their family members is going to die.
Garp was going to attack Luffy, memories of the good times he had with Luffy and Ace. He don't want to hurt his grandson so the best solution is to take the hit.
Garp closed his eyes and took it, people were dumbfounded that Garp was punched or knocked away by Luffy, but some understand that Luffy is Garp's family so he wouldn't hurt him.
Popeye grab Garp and groans at the pain, strain on his body because of Whitebeard and save other Marines. He's not someone to go down easily and he hasn't showed his full power because Garp sake him to so his other grandson can be saved.
Kizaru use his devil fruit to quickly pass Buggy and gets ready to fire a laser, but Buggy quickly kick him to the area they were before and Whitebeard has a small cut on his arm because of Buggy kick him away and causing the laser to just barley hit his arm.
The laser caused the bridge to turn into collapse rubble, but Luffy continue on going with the hint of giving up. Step by step Luffy was going close to Ace and he made it to Ace with a smile.
Luffy begins to try to free Ace, Sengoku was not going to give Luffy to chance to, he used his Buda form to attack, but Luffy used Gear 3 to match the attack.
The somewhat even attack destroyed their platform and they begin falling towards the sea and Luffy noticed that the two guard were Bon Clay and Mr. 3.
The two were planning to free Ace by being the two executioners, they will fake swing and will reveal themselves to they will be focus on them and so they can secretly give Ace a wax key to escape.
Mr. 3 give Luffy the wax key and Bon Clay turn into a large bird so Mr. 3 can hop on and they can fly away. A bunch of bullets and cannonball are coming toward Ace and Luffy, but in the last second luffy free Ace.
Both were caught in the explosion, smoke was covering the two from other and suddenly fire replace the smoke. Ace grabs Luffy to luanch both of them to solid ground, everyone expect most of the Marines are happy that Luffy saved Ace or they are both alive.
The Marine are were ready to fire, but Ace use his devil fruit powers to make a fire pillar to blow away the Marines. Marines are surrounding Luffy and Ace, many Marines were defeated or attack pirate like Lu Bu and Bullet who are easily taking them down.
The Sphinx is eating the weaker Marines because he hadn't have a decent lunch in a while so the Marines are the second best thing. Hater,, Peepers, and the Watchdogs are slowly reaching the main fight, but they have to deal with the many Marines who are in the way.
Buggy is dealing with two Admiral who are struggling to even figh5 Buggy because Buggy's strength can't be match with anyone like Garp or Sengoku, but they have to hang on and at the same time they are getting stronger.
Ace's attack are powerful that no Marines around the area can't take a hit of him, even if they try a sneak attack with sea stone weapons Luffy has Ace's back.
Aokiji quickly when Kizaru distracted Buggy, he use his devil fruit power to attack Ace and Luffy, however Ace wins in the clash of ice and fire. Aokiji don't have time to attack again because Buggy use his Chop-Chop Cannon to luanch at Aokiji to give him and bring him back.
The other part of the battle is that Whitebeard's ship has begin to move and the cause of that action was Squard, he is now trying to redeem himself for his action from before.
Squard is ready to die for his father that for what he do, Whitebeard stopped the ship from getting any closer because the parents should be the first ones to die before their children.
He order his children to survive and go back to the New World for safety, " I am a ancient remnant from a old Era so don't worry about me and just GO!!!," Whitebeard used his devil fruit powers to destroy the main navy base.
Whitebeard is remember all the good times that he had with his children, their laughter, their smiles, and their annoying actions that get on his nerves, but he just laugh at how ridiculous they look.
He remember the word that he said back in the Golden Era, " I'm not interested in treasure, but what I am interested is a family," he has that today and he is going to protect even if it's his last breath.
Marineford is collapse by the second if they don't finish Whitebeard off, but he is to strong to deal with and Whitebeard is taking shot after shot after shot and he stay isn't going down.
The world outside of Marineford is surprised, terrified, amazed at the war that's happening and the power that the pirate has over the Marines, they are being outmatched at this point.
For example, Buggy D. Clown is surprising the strongest because he is the only one that don't take damage, fighting two Admiral and not using his devil fruit to help him out, this tells about Buggy's physical strength.
Jinbe, Ace, and Luffy run away from the scene, but before they can do that Akainu insult Whitebeard's name and calling him a loser. The more Akainu insult Whitebeard, the more Ace's angry was boiling and he attacked Akainu.
Akainu easily outmatched Ace's flame, Akainu was going to attack Luffy, but Ace tried to blocked it and was going through Ace.
A hand stopped Akainu's attack and the hand look that it had some burn scar on his hand, it's Buggy's hand and it seems that he separated his hand so he don't let the other Admiral join the fight.
Whitebeard see what Akainu was going to do and Whitebeard walks towards menacing with a face that tells you that you ROYAL FUCKED yourself.
