Chapter 153: Volume 2 Chapter 32: Nhentai Tag: Kristen, Wardrobe, Binding
In a mobile city, every square meter of land is precious.
Owning property in such a city is the dream of nearly every working-class family.
Kristen still remembered the early days of founding Rhine Lab with Saria after they had just graduated. At the time, they rented half a floor in an office building near Trimounts Institute of Technology and lived together in an old apartment nearby.
Back then, Rhine Lab was far from the success it is today. It was just a small group of young people united by their ambitions, establishing a company in pursuit of their dreams.
Such companies were registered in Columbia by the hundreds every day, and just as many faced bankruptcy shortly after due to various pressures.
How carefree those times were! There wasn't much to worry about—just one thing: keeping Rhine Lab afloat.
Only by doing so could Kristen access more experimental materials, better equipment, and hire more talented researchers.
The sound of warm water cascading down Kristen's exquisitely proportioned body filled the bathroom. Her golden hair clung to her rounded hips as the water soaked it. While letting the water flow over her, Kristen's fingers traced her smooth, fair skin—
from her neck to her collarbone, and from there to the soft curves of her chest.
Kristen wasn't particularly well-endowed, but her chest had an appealing shape—round and full, its pale complexion akin to the frost of deep winter and the softness of freshly picked cotton in early summer.
Her hips weren't especially pronounced, but they were round and firm. Her long, slender legs stood straight, her bare feet in contact with the cold floor tiles.
Compared to Saria—a robust, exercise-inclined Vouivre woman—Kristen was quite frail.
Years of relentless research and experiments left her lacking in physical strength.
If a robber broke into her home, Kristen wouldn't have much choice but to raise her hands in surrender.
However, this was her and Saria's house. Apart from the two of them, no one else knew the door code.
The villa was equipped with a top-tier security system, and professional guards patrolled the premises. The possibility of a break-in was practically zero.
Suddenly, Kristen turned off the shower.
Time was precious to her, so she rarely wasted it on meaningless tasks. However, even the busiest mind occasionally needed a break.
For Kristen, staying at Saria's house was a break.
Ten minutes was neither too long nor too short.
Grabbing a towel, Kristen opened the bathroom door and stepped out while drying her hair.
As she began contemplating her research topics for the next day, her mind, as usual, dismissed unnecessary distractions like common entertainment.
Until she looked up—
And saw a crocodile man standing in her bedroom.
The crocodile man saw her too.
Kristen froze for a moment, momentarily forgetting she was completely naked. For an instant, she thought it was a hallucination caused by overwork.
But Kristen quickly realized—this was no hallucination!
It was the crocodile man she had met earlier that afternoon, standing in her and Saria's home. How had he bypassed the patrols and security system to get in?
Kristen's lips parted slightly as she processed the situation. No matter how this intruder had entered, her first priority was to ensure her own safety.
In Columbia, kidnappers were usually after one thing—money.
What Kristen couldn't understand was why this crocodile man would take such a risk. In just a few months, once Rhine Lab's financial situation stabilized, she would have access to an astronomical sum of money by ordinary standards.
Why couldn't he just wait? Why resort to such reckless measures now?
No matter what, Kristen's priority was to protect herself.
However, just as she was about to cry out, the crocodile man moved.
Silent as a still lake one moment, swift as a thunderbolt the next.
Kristen hadn't even managed to utter a sound before the crocodile man closed the distance between them, pinning her to the floor. His large hand clamped over her mouth, and the pressure of his grip made it clear—if she so much as made a peep, her life would be in jeopardy.
Not here for money!
The thought exploded in Kristen's mind.
"Apologies, but as long as you don't struggle or make noise, I won't hurt you," the crocodile man, Garde, said in a calm voice.
Under his imposing grip, Kristen's last shred of modesty—a towel—fell to the side, leaving her entirely exposed. Garde's gaze, though neutral, took in every detail.
Truthfully, Garde hadn't intended to be this rough. But when he saw Kristen about to scream, he acted instinctively to prevent what could have been a much more troublesome situation. Left with no other choice, he subdued her immediately.
How was he supposed to know Kristen would be taking a bath at Saria's house?
Hadn't Saria said she lived alone?
With his hand still covering her mouth, Garde watched as Kristen blinked her eyes rapidly. It was clear to her that her life was now entirely in his hands. If she wanted to survive, she would have to comply with his demands.
When Garde finally moved his hand away, Kristen quickly spoke, her voice trembling but determined.
"As long as you don't hurt me, you can do whatever you want. I can even tell you about some of the company's collaborations with the military. If those details were exposed, it would cause immeasurable damage to Rhine Lab."
So it's not about money—it's about my body!
Though Kristen had spent most of her life immersed in research, she considered herself reasonably attractive. Still, no one had ever dared to pursue her seriously.
She couldn't have imagined that this crocodile man—whom she had only met earlier in the day—would be audacious enough to break into her home and assault her by night.
Were all Sargonians this barbaric?
Kristen saw no other way out. She couldn't die—not yet. If sacrificing her body would allow her to survive, then so be it.
To her, the body she had kept untouched for over twenty years was a small price to pay if it meant she could continue her research.
She even considered handing herself over willingly to earn Garde's trust, all while plotting how she might turn the situation to her advantage later. A dozen plans formed in her mind in an instant.
Hearing Kristen's words, Garde immediately realized she had misunderstood him.
"No, no, I'm not interested in you—"
Garde began, intending to clarify his lack of interest in Kristen. He even reached for her fallen towel to cover her up.
But before he could finish, he sensed something amiss.
The water in the bathroom, which hadn't fully drained yet, suddenly became unnaturally active.
A chill ran through Garde's spine.
Without hesitation, he tore the towel in two, stuffing one half into Kristen's mouth and using the other to bind her hands and feet. He then threw her into the wardrobe and shut it tightly.
Just then, a familiar voice sounded from behind him.
"Huh? Garde, what are you doing?"
It was Muelsyse.
