SCP: A TRUE ANOMALY

After SCP-9743 relaxed momentarily in his containment cell, he was leaded for another experiment, and Dr. Alexander Grimm told him that would be an expert fighter. SCP-9743 knew he was being used to show what he was capable of, and prepared himself for what fighter he would have to face.

As SCP-9743 was leaded to SCP-076-2, Dr. Alexander Grimm told SCP-9743 about SCP-076-2. And all SCP-9743 had to say, was how many sadistic were there in the facility, and the description about SCP-076-2 seemed to be about a megalomaniac, and that it reminded him about someone else he knew.

Dr. Alexander Grimm and the Research Team got intrigued, but decided to wait to know, as SCP-9743 after that being said, didn't said anything else.

After a moment, SCP-9743 entered the containment chamber of SCP-076-2, where also SCP-076-1 was. SCP-076-2 instantly brandished its sword, what made SCP-9743's pupils vanish once again, and have a dead serious stare at SCP-076-2.

SCP-9743: "So, you're just a dirty killer, huh?"

SCP-076-2: "No, I'm not a killer, I'm a proud warrior, determined to exterminate all of his enemies."

SCP-9743: "I know what type of determination you have, I don't need to see the future to already know how is this going to end."

Quickly, the fight began. At first, SCP-9743 seemed to have the clear upper hand and advantage, as each time SCP-076-2 swinged the sword, SCP-9743 dodged very quickly, with a speed that neither of both Research Teams, of SCP-076-2 and SCP-9743 could see, almost if is he was teleporting in short range of distance.

The containment chamber quickly got full of cracks and bones all over, and with high difficulty, suddenly, SCP-076-2 fell for a trap of SCP-9743. SCP-9743 took a moment to take a break, and catch his breath, but then saw how SCP-076-2 quickly got out of SCP-076-1, and was ready for round two.

SCP-9743: "So... Is that your way to Reset? You're just another megalomaniac in search of power by killing your adversaries. No matter how much pride you have in being a warrior, you are nothing more than a dirty killer with a megalomaniac mentality."

Then, SCP-076-2 ignored SCP-9743, and charged back again. The fight was long, and each time, SCP-076-2 seemed to slowly obtain the upper hand, as seemed to have learnt SCP-9743's tricks. Slowly, SCP-9743 started to sweat more and more, and then, after a while, for surprise of SCP-076-2, and both Research Teams, SCP-9743 started cracking himself, as cracks started appearing over his body, visible even through his clothes as if the cracks also affect the clothes he was wearing. From the cracks, white and blue light appeared, but also faint red light. SCP-9743 also started melting slowly, more and more, and from his head, eyes and mouth, blue flame started to drop out.

The fight seemed to slowly be in favor of SCP-076-2, until finally, SCP-9743 got slashed, but after that he remained trying, but not long after, he got slashed again, now, with a X in his torso, and bleeding all over, he coughed, and whispered "I guess... Despite hoe much I tried... I'm still lazy...", and then, dusted away, as his body vanished in front of SCP-076-2 and both Research Teams. But almost instantly, where SCP-9743 was standing, was now a floating red heart with two white lines inside recreating another heart inside, but then, the heart started shaking and broke in half, but it didn't stop there, and started shaking once again, but now, it fixed itself.

After the heart got fixed, a red crimson potent light blinded SCP-076-2, and covered the view of both Research Teams. After the light was gone, they saw SCP-9743 standing again, still with the two slashes in X in his torso and bleeding, but now, his eyes were complete black darkness, and his hair more dark brown instead of having the dark yellow color, and his pupils were red with purple outline.

SCP-9743: "Despite him, I'm not lazy, and much less passive."

After talking, SCP-08743 instantly opened his mouth, and from his mouth and eyes, big amount of black liquid started to drop, and his pupils disappeared, while he was yelling a deep distorted creepy strange sound. And then, he acted as grabbing something with his right hand, and a strange red bright knife appeared under his right hand, and SCP-9743 instantly grabbed it, and in a second, already dashed against SCP-076-2, who barely got time to block, but then, it's sword got pierced with ease, and SCP-9743 kicked SCP-076-2.

SCP-076-2 smiled, happy to see SCP-9743 was no longer as himself, but more as itself, showing a more warrior self SCP-9743 seemed to be have hiding all this time, but something inside both Research Teams was telling them it wasn't like that.

The fight started with the real round 2, where red slashes flied all over, piercing all the walls, ceiling and ground. Bones flying all over and appearing, and skulls flying and shooting. The containment chamber was soon enough, very short for the combat, but yet, both remained fighting inside.

SCP-076-2 died multiple times, over and over, as getting overkilled almost constantly. SCP-9743 wasn't fighting by any tactic anymore. After a moment, SCP-9743 seemed to also be striking SCP-076-1, and Dr. Alexander Grim decided to end the experiment. The guards entered with all the caution they could have, and grabbed from behind SCP-9743, who tried to resist and keep slashing, but got successfully out of what remains of SCP-076-2's containment chamber.

During the walk travel back to SCP-9743's containment cell, he remained observing first at the guards, but then, stared directly at Dr. Alexander Grimm. His grin was wide open and large, and slowly, Dr. Alexander Grimm saw how SCP-9743's face darkened until only saw two red intense lines as eyes, and another one as mouth, but quickly, Dr. Alexander looked away, and after a moment, SCP-9743 was left inside his containment cell, and seemed to just sit, stare at the camera, holding the red bright knife with his right hand, and smile wide openly with wide open eyes.
