Chapter 26: Not A Normal Dungeon
Oscar was looking at a Dungeon key, this was after he had done his day's daily quest were he went over board and did 200 push up, 200 sit up and 20k run yesterday, he had checked the gift, other then getting a new tracking skill this one was new, as he checks it's description
[ A rank Dungeon Key, this opened a gate to an A rank Dungeon Key but unlike that of a normal Dungeon Key that do A Rank this is a Special type location of the Dungeon alli ways of Vale ]
Oscar looked around a bit as he twisted the key, as a red gate opened he went inside as he opened his eyes he looked around her was in the Allie way so he walked out and saw the Streets had zero people no life, fogs were in the roads and looked like to was our of a horror movie or even that of a certain Game Bloodborne scratch that it seemed like it was out of Bloodborne even do the game didn't exgist in this Universe and Oscar has no ideas about.
Oscar pulled out Midnight Fang and Crimson trigger. "This doesn't seem like a normal Dungeon".
He then saw the Dungeon key turned to red dust and then blow away. "This is not helping, what is this"
Oscar stood in the eerie silence, his hand gripping Midnight Fang and Crimson Trigger tightly. The streets around him were shrouded in an unnatural fog, thick enough to obscure his vision beyond a few meters. The air was heavy, the kind that pressed down on you, making every breath feel like a struggle. There were no sounds of birds, no distant chatter, no wind whistling between the buildings. Just dead silence.
"Is this really part of the dungeon?" Oscar muttered under his breath, scanning the environment. His footsteps echoed eerily as he walked deeper into the fog, the weight of uncertainty pressing on his chest. The streetlights flickered weakly, casting long shadows that danced unnaturally in the mist. It was a far cry from the usual bright and lively streets of Vale. There was something... off about this place. It was like the world had forgotten to breathe.
Oscar looked down at the now-disintegrating Dungeon Key, the red dust scattering into the air like some cursed relic. The key had dissolved completely, leaving only the faintest trace of its presence.
"Guess that means I'm stuck here," Oscar said, more to himself than anyone else. He didn't know what kind of dungeon this was, but there was no turning back now. Whatever this was, it felt wrong.
As he moved forward, the fog seemed to grow thicker, obscuring his vision further. Oscar's hand tightened around his weapons. The faint rustling of the wind seemed to whisper from every corner, but there was nothing to see, no sign of life.
His mind raced, trying to piece together what he knew. The description of the dungeon had said it was special—different from the usual A-rank dungeons he'd encountered. But this… this felt more like a nightmare, a twisted version of reality.
And then, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. He wasn't alone.
Oscar's eyes darted to the side as he heard the faintest sound—a low, guttural growl, barely perceptible through the thick fog. His heart skipped a beat, and he spun on his heels, expecting something to leap from the shadows.
Nothing.
"Great. Now I'm hearing things." Oscar chuckled nervously, but his voice was drowned out by the suffocating silence that surrounded him.
He took another cautious step forward, his senses on high alert. The fog seemed to shift as if it had a mind of its own, swirling and moving around him. There was no discernible source, but Oscar could feel the presence of something—something sinister—lurking just beyond the veil.
Suddenly, a loud crash echoed from a nearby alley, the sound of metal scraping against stone. Oscar's eyes widened, and without thinking, he dashed toward the sound.
Rounding the corner, he froze. Standing there, in the dim light of a flickering streetlamp, was a creature unlike any Oscar had seen before. It was a towering, monstrous figure, cloaked in shadows and dripping with a viscous black substance. Its limbs were elongated, its eyes glowing an ominous red, and its jagged teeth glistened in the dim light. The creature let out a low growl, its gaze locking onto Oscar with terrifying intensity.
"Not your average dungeon monster…" Oscar muttered, his grip tightening on his weapons.
The creature let out a deafening roar, and before Oscar could react, it lunged at him with startling speed.
Oscar sidestepped just in time, narrowly avoiding its claws as they slashed through the air. He could feel the heat of its body as it brushed past him, and the stench of decay filled his nostrils.
"Okay, so this is real," Oscar said, his heart racing as he spun to face the creature. "Guess I'm not getting out of here without a fight."
He leapt into action, summoning his agility and strength. Midnight Fang flashed through the air as he aimed for the creature's exposed side. The blade made contact, but instead of slicing through flesh, it only seemed to bounce off with a sickening metallic sound. The creature howled in pain, but the wound quickly began to heal, the flesh stitching itself back together in an unnatural display.
Oscar cursed under his breath. "What the hell is this thing made of?"
The creature snarled and lunged again, but Oscar was ready this time. He sidestepped its attack and used the momentum to slam Crimson Trigger into its chest. The blast of energy sent the creature stumbling back, but it quickly regained its footing and roared once more.
"Alright, enough games." Oscar gritted his teeth, stepping back to gather his thoughts. He needed to think of a way to deal with this thing, and fast.
As he considered his options, the fog around him seemed to grow denser, and the streets became more distorted, twisting in ways that defied logic. It was as if the very environment itself was conspiring against him.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Oscar muttered, preparing for the next round of the fight.
Just then, the creature stopped. It froze in place, its glowing red eyes narrowing. A low, rumbling voice echoed in Oscar's mind, sending a chill down his spine.
"You are not meant to be here, human."
Oscar's blood ran cold as the voice reverberated through his skull. He took a step back, his mind racing. What was this? What kind of dungeon was this, and who—or what—was controlling it?
He didn't have time to answer, though, because the creature charged at him again, its claws extended, ready to strike.
Oscar barely had time to react as the monster barreled toward him. He raised Crimson Trigger, firing a shot just in time to blast the creature back once more, but he knew this fight was far from over. This wasn't just another A-rank dungeon. This was something far worse.
And Oscar had no idea what he was truly up against.
The creator then moved trying to attack Oscar again, but then Oscar used Crimons tiger and blasted creator with his shot gun as it was sent black, Oscar then actived his [ Agility Skill ], as he dauged the creator attack as he moved away as he cames under another Lamp he then quickly sense something

Oscar just sigehd as he got up as he looked at the streets. "This is gonna be a long Dungeon".
He then walked, he then saw a house wanting to check something he kicked the door of house opned but there was noting there, he made a small fir with fire ball and kept in his hand as light source as he started to explore the house
Oscar carefully stepped inside the decrepit house, the dim glow of his [Fire Ball] illuminating the surroundings. The wooden floor creaked under his feet, and the walls were covered in peeling wallpaper, revealing cracked and decayed wood beneath. It felt as though no one had lived here for decades.
The silence was unnerving, broken only by the occasional drip of water echoing from somewhere deeper inside. Oscar swept his makeshift light around, revealing overturned furniture, shattered glass, and claw marks etched into the walls.
"Yeah, definitely not a normal dungeon," Oscar muttered to himself, keeping his senses sharp.
As he ventured further into the house, he found himself in what seemed to be a living room. The fireplace was cold and empty, and a dusty, torn rug lay sprawled across the floor. He spotted an old, broken table with an unlit lantern sitting on top of it. The entire room gave off a heavy, oppressive atmosphere, as if the walls themselves were watching him.

Objective: Explore the house and uncover its secrets.

Oscar raised an eyebrow. "Investigate, huh? Fine. At least the system's giving me something to do."
He moved cautiously, checking every corner and doorway. As he entered what seemed to be a study, he noticed a strange symbol carved into the wall, glowing faintly red. The symbol was circular, with jagged, interlocking lines forming a sinister pattern.
Ding!
[New Discovery: Cursed Rune]
Description: A remnant of dark magic. Interacting with it may yield rewards—or consequences. Proceed with caution.
Oscar narrowed his eyes, gripping Midnight Fang tightly. "Rewards or consequences? Great, as if I didn't have enough problems."
Despite the warning, he decided to examine the rune. Carefully, he reached out with his free hand, the glow of his [Fire Ball] flickering as he got closer. The moment his fingers touched the symbol, a wave of cold energy shot through his body.
Ding!
[You have activated the Cursed Rune. Proceed to the basement to uncover its secret.]
Oscar stumbled back, shaking off the chill. The glow of the rune faded, but a creaking sound echoed from behind him. He spun around, Midnight Fang at the ready, but saw nothing.
"Basement?" he muttered, glancing around the room. A sudden draft caught his attention, and he noticed a door in the corner of the room, slightly ajar.
"Of course, there's a creepy basement," he grumbled.
Oscar cautiously approached the door, pushing it open with his foot. A narrow staircase descended into darkness, the faint smell of damp earth and decay wafting up. He tightened his grip on his weapons and stepped down, his [Fire Ball] lighting the way.
The basement was a stark contrast to the house above. The walls were made of stone, and the air was heavy with moisture. He noticed more of the strange symbols carved into the walls, glowing faintly. In the center of the room was a stone altar, and atop it lay a small, black crystal pulsating with a dark energy.
Ding!
[New Discovery: Dark Core]
Description: A fragment of pure dark magic. Consuming or destroying it may yield significant power—but beware the consequences.
Oscar approached the altar, wary of any traps or hidden dangers. "Significant power, huh? Sounds tempting, but I'm not an idiot."
As he reached out to inspect the crystal, the air grew colder, and a deep, guttural growl echoed from the shadows. Oscar froze, his instincts screaming at him to prepare for a fight.
From the far corner of the basement, a figure emerged—a monstrous being even larger than the creature he had fought earlier. Its body was covered in black, tar-like substance, and its glowing red eyes locked onto him with murderous intent.
"Of course," Oscar muttered, raising his weapons. "Couldn't just be a creepy crystal. Had to come with a boss fight."
The creature roared, shaking the very walls of the basement, and charged at him with terrifying speed.
Oscar fired a blast from Crimson Trigger, aiming for its chest, but the creature absorbed the hit without flinching. He activated [Agility Skill] and dodged to the side, slashing at its arm with Midnight Fang. The blade cut through, but the wound quickly began to regenerate.
"Regeneration again? Seriously?" Oscar growled, jumping back to create some distance.
He summoned [Fire Ball], launching it at the creature. The flames engulfed its body, and it let out an ear-piercing scream.
"So fire works on you too," Oscar said, smirking. "Good to know."
The creature lunged at him again, its claws swiping dangerously close. Oscar ducked under the attack, rolling to the side and unleashing another barrage of [Fire Ball]. The flames consumed the creature, and it howled in agony, thrashing wildly.
Oscar seized the opportunity, running toward the altar. He grabbed the Dark Core and held it in his hand, feeling the pulsating energy coursing through it.
"Time to end this."
He activated [Fire Ball] once more, channeling the flames directly into the Dark Core. The crystal began to glow brighter and brighter, emitting a high-pitched whine.
The creature let out one final roar, charging at him in desperation.
"Not today!" Oscar shouted, throwing the overloaded Dark Core at the creature.
The moment the crystal made contact, it erupted in a massive explosion of fire and dark energy, engulfing the entire basement.

Oscar stumbled to his feet, coughing as the dust settled. The creature was gone, and the basement was eerily silent once more.
"That… was way too close," he muttered, brushing himself off.
He climbed back up the stairs, relieved to find the house intact. Stepping outside, he looked around at the fog-covered streets.
"This dungeon better be worth it," he said, preparing to continue his journey.
