Chapter 53: Volume 1: Chapter 54 - Morgan: I'm Going to Make You Watch Me and En From the Side

The setting sun was like blood, its lonely light shining upon the lion-helmeted knight holding the Holy Lance.

Artoria's mind was a complete blank. She remained frozen in her thrusting posture, not moving an inch.

Pregnant? She could understand that.

Having a child? She could understand that too.

But what on earth did it mean that the child was hers and En's?!

After a long while, the girl seemed to snap back to her senses. In a panicked tone that said, "I must have heard wrong," she sternly questioned her.

"Don't joke with me! Do you think I'm some ignorant child!? Even if you really were having a child, how could it possibly be mine and En's!? Th-Three people can't have the same child together... I see through your stalling tactic, Morgan!"

"It seems you're not a complete fool. You know that by common sense, this is impossible."

Morgan looked at the tip of the Holy Lance, which was only a few centimeters from her chest. From this distance, she could even feel the storm-like sharpness of the lance faintly stinging her fair, delicate skin.

But she did not move her body. Instead, she leaned forward slightly, puffing out her chest, causing Artoria to subconsciously pull the Holy Lance back an inch. Her red lips curled up slightly, a flash of triumph in her eyes as she chuckled.

"But who says that something impossible by common sense can't be achieved through magic?"

Morgan folded her hands and placed them gently on her lower abdomen, her head slightly bowed as if sensing the fluttering of a new life. A gentle, virtuous smile graced her face.

The rose-colored sunset shone quietly through the scale-like clouds, bathing her in its light. At this moment, Morgan looked like a Madonna, glowing with a maternal radiance.

Artoria's pupils trembled violently. As if in disbelief, she staggered back a few steps, shaking her head in denial.

"N-No, impossible. It shouldn't be like this, it can't be..."

The girl's voice was filled with helplessness. In the end, she didn't even know what she should be more concerned about: the fact that Morgan was pregnant, the fact that Morgan was pregnant with her and En's child, or how any of this could have possibly happened...

Her head was a complete mess, her mind so confused that she was about to faint.

"What's so impossible about it? Did you really think I just took En away last night and did nothing else?"

Seeing that Artoria was clearly wavering, Morgan delivered another blow with a light laugh.

"D-Don't tell me..."

As if a thought had struck her, Artoria subconsciously tightened her grip on the Holy Lance, her eyes widening as she stared at Morgan, who was now lightly licking her red lips with her pink tongue as if savoring a memory.

"That's right. Last night, the three of us were together, and we had a very 'enjoyable' time, you know~? Of course, you weren't conscious at the time, which was a little regrettable... my dear sister."

"You—!"

Morgan said with a sneer, finally causing Artoria, who could no longer withstand such shocking words, to have her brain short-circuit for a moment. She subconsciously took a step forward, slightly raising the Holy Lance in her hand.

But at that moment, the corners of Morgan's lips curled up slightly as she scoffed.

"You fall into a panic the moment you encounter something you've never seen before. You really are a fool, Arthur!"

"What?!"

Artoria froze in astonishment, as if she hadn't expected Morgan's attitude to change so quickly.

And in that very instant, the moment she stepped forward, the ground behind her erupted!

Countless thorns of earth and rock burst from the ground!

In an instant, they struck her in the back, knocking the Holy Lance from her grasp and binding her tightly, suspending her in mid-air in a spread-eagled position.

"...You bastard! So everything you just said was a lie!"

She subconsciously tried to struggle free from her bonds, only to find that she couldn't break loose. Only then did Artoria realize that she had fallen for Morgan's "trick" again.

But for some reason, she felt a sense of relief in her heart. At least, it seemed her adoptive brother remained pure and had not been taken advantage of by this evil woman.

Yet, for some unknown reason, a hint of regret also flashed through her heart. It seemed there was still a small part of her that cared about the possibility of the child with "En" that Morgan had mentioned.

"So what if it was? Think about it. If the three of us had really had such an 'enjoyable' time last night, do you think you'd have the energy to come here and cause a ruckus today?"

Morgan casually dusted off her Mystic Code dress and stood up. She controlled the earthen thorns to move Artoria's body in front of her, knocking off her helmet in the process and revealing the girl's shamed and furious expression.

But Morgan's own words did, in a sense, put Artoria's mind at ease.

However, before the thought "this woman still has some shame" could even form in Artoria's mind, Morgan's next words shattered her fleeting hope.

"However, seeing as you look a little expectant, why don't we just do that tonight?"

Morgan tilted her head slightly, her long, slender white fingers tapping her red lips. The hint of soft, snowy skin peeking out from below her fair, slender neck looked even more delicate under the setting sun.

She blinked her azure eyes, her long lashes trembling lightly. Though she possessed a cold and bewitching face, she feigned a look of innocent purity, yet the words that came from her mouth were ripe with suggestion.

"...It's just that tonight, you'll most likely only be able to watch me and En from the side, while you grit your teeth and cry into your pillow all by yourself~! Hahaha!"

Watching Artoria's face turn ashen in an instant, the half-length strand of hair on her head quickly wilting, Morgan could finally no longer hold back and burst into wild laughter.

King Arthur, the King of Ideals, the hope of the people of Britain... Looking at her now, she was nothing more than a homeless dog that couldn't even guard its "bone."

In that moment, Morgan felt an unprecedented sense of glee.

All her past jealousy and resentment, in the face of Artoria's devastated and despairing expression, transformed into pure pleasure.

"N-No! How could you do that!? You can't do that!"

At the thought of that image, Artoria felt her brain begin to boil. She gritted her teeth and tried to break free from the earthen thorns, but for every one she broke, another would wrap around her, leaving her completely immobilized.

"Oh, but I will! Not only will I do it, but I'll also make you watch every second! Of course, if you're willing to lower your head and beg me properly, maybe I'll give you a chance to participate too."

"Ah... I can't wait to see En call me Sister in front of you~!"

Morgan folded her arms, laughing freely. Seeing that Artoria's entire complexion had turned almost grey, the excitement in her eyes grew even more intense.

But before she could continue to provoke the girl, a clear and youthful voice suddenly sounded from behind her.

"Sister! Miss Morgan! Please stop!"
