Victor and Tessa walked over, and Master Hulk introduced them to the burly man sitting beside him.

"Waveguides are one manifestation of psychic energy. Both humans and Pokémon can possess waveguides. For example, the Lucario family are known experts in using waveguides."

"Most humans do not have the same innate power as Pokémon. My own waveguide power, for instance, can only extend about two meters around me at full strength. I cannot turn it into a wave missile to attack like Pokémon can."
