"One Piece: Sign-In at the Start to Get Ryūjin Jakka"

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Arrival at the Island, Mastery of Binding Arts

Ding! Sign-in mission issued: Ohara. Reward: Mastery of Bakudō #99. Time limit: 3 days!

The mechanical voice of the system echoed in Roya's mind.

Unaware that a bounty of 2 billion had already been placed on his head, Roya was currently rushing full speed toward Ohara.

Just as he had this thought, his eyes caught sight of something in the distant ocean—a beautiful woman, drifting on a wooden plank.

Without hesitation, Roya rescued her.

Olvia slowly opened her eyes. Seeing only the cloaked Roya aboard, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank you for saving me. My name is Olvia."

As she finished speaking, she noticed the ship's course—it was heading toward Ohara.

Alarmed, Olvia warned Roya, "Are you going to Ohara? It's extremely dangerous there right now!"

After hearing the words of Nico Robin's mother, Olvia, Roya replied calmly, "It's fine. We're both going there anyway, so let's not waste time."

Two days later, at dawn, several warships bearing the World Government's flag slowly docked near Ohara.

Standing on the deck, Spandine gazed at the island, shrouded in thick mist, and grinned sinisterly.

His chilling smile made one's skin crawl.

"We've finally reached this sinful island, Ohara. I wonder if that woman who leapt into the sea back then is still alive. It's such a pity I didn't kill her with my own hands."

With those words, Spandine left the deck and led his men toward the island.

As he stepped onto Ohara's soil, he held his head high in disdain, clearly looking down on everything about the island.

"This island is so pitifully barren. I don't even understand how people survive here. Frankly, it would be better if I just killed everyone on it!"

His subordinates broke into a cold sweat at his words. Based on Spandine's previous actions, they genuinely believed he was capable of such cruelty.

"Sir, we should go to the Tree of Knowledge at the center of the island and investigate whether Olvia left behind anything else that threatens the Government."

Before the subordinate could finish speaking, Spandine drew his pistol, aimed it at the man, and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

Watching his subordinate fall, Spandine sneered, "You think I need your advice?!"

With that, he marched toward the Tree of Knowledge.

Ding! Congratulations, host! Sign-in successful. Reward obtained: Mastery of Bakudō #99! Bakudō is a branch of Kido from the Bleach universe, primarily focused on defense and restraint. High-level Bakudō can immobilize thousands in a single thought!

As the system's message rang in Roya's mind—

A sudden gunshot shattered the quiet atmosphere of Ohara.

Roya smirked and muttered, "Looks like we arrived just in time. This won't take long."

Unlike the calm Roya, Olvia panicked upon hearing the gunfire.

Her eyes filled with urgency as she ran toward the Tree of Knowledge.

Roya watched her gradually disappearing figure, then strolled after her leisurely.

At that moment, Spandine had already arrived at the Tree of Knowledge.

Just as he got there, he saw a little girl running toward the great tree.

Seeing this, Spandine waved his hand and commanded,"Special Intelligence Unit of the World Government—execute a classified mission. Any unauthorized approachers are to be shot on sight!"

His subordinates hesitated, one frowning as he said,"B-But sir, she's just a little girl…"

SLAP!

Spandine struck the man hard across the face.

"You want to join the guy who just contradicted me—six feet under?"

"N-No, sir…"

The man shook his head vigorously. Compared to a child's life, his own was clearly more important.

"Then shoot! All of you—shoot! We can't show any mercy to the people of Ohara!"

Spandine's expression twisted with cruelty—he was eager to see blood splatter!

The soldiers didn't hesitate any longer. They raised their rifles and took aim at the little girl.

The scholars inside the Tree of Knowledge were often so immersed in research that they didn't notice what happened outside.

Kind-hearted Robin had only wanted to warn them, but never expected this.

Faced with the dark muzzles of the rifles, Robin's heart trembled.

"Am I… going to die here?"

Her tiny fists clenched tightly. She thought of her mother, whom she hadn't seen in so long—perhaps she never would again.

"Robin!!!"

Suddenly, Olvia's desperate cry reached Robin. She rushed forward with increased speed and threw herself toward the girl.

She pulled Robin into a tight embrace, turning her back to the gunfire, shielding her daughter with her own body.

As Olvia's voice echoed, the soldiers pulled their triggers.

Bang.Bang.Bang.

Gunfire roared across the island, flashes lighting up the barrels, smoke rising as bullets flew toward Olvia and Robin.

In that moment, time seemed to stop.

Robin felt the warmth of her mother's arms, and tears streamed down her face."No!!!"

Just then—

Roya raised his hand and pointed at the air, muttering softly:

"Bakudō #64 – Reverse Mirror."

A translucent disk appeared in front of the two women, effortlessly deflecting the bullets—and then firing them back!

The bullets returned even faster than they had come.

Seeing this, Spandine's pupils shrank in horror. He instinctively yanked a nearby subordinate, using the man as a human shield against the reflected gunfire!

The pain never came.

Olvia and Robin slowly opened their eyes, stunned as they looked in Roya's direction.

They never imagined that the man who had saved them… would be this powerful.
