Naruto: Uchiha Survivor Forced to Save the Shinobi World

Chapter 462: Ch.462 Lockdown and Convergence

Neither Nagato nor Obito had anticipated that the mysterious figure could pursue them into the Kamui dimension!

For Obito, in particular, this was a shock. Since awakening his 'Kamui' with the Mangekyō Sharingan, aside from a minor setback against his teacher, the Fourth Hokage, he had roamed the shinobi world unchallenged for over a decade, manipulating various factions with ease.

The key to his dominance was 'Kamui,' an exceptionally rare space-time dojutsu, even by the standards of the shinobi world!

Thus, he never imagined that the trump card he relied on to reign over the shinobi world would be so effortlessly countered by this opponent.

Even the Fourth Hokage, who mastered the 'Flying Thunder God Technique,' couldn't achieve such a feat!

"Damn it!"

Beneath his spiral mask, Obito's face was grim. He was always the one scheming from the shadows, but this was the first time someone had torn down his curtain and confronted him head-on.

Though Nagato was also caught off guard, his expression quickly returned to calm.

He had absolute confidence in himself!

The mysterious figure scanned their surroundings, their gaze lingering briefly on Obito before glancing at the 'lamp' hanging at their waist with the corner of their eye.

The lamplight at their waist was now extremely dim.

The golden 'embers' in the lamp's vessel were nearly depleted.

"One battle to decide it all!"

Muttering to themselves, the mysterious figure raised the 'lamp' at their waist, urging its dim light to shine in all directions.

Nagato and Obito's attention was instantly drawn to the 'lamp' in the mysterious figure's hand.

Though they didn't know what the 'lamp' was, an instinct from their souls told them it was no ordinary object!

"What…!?"

Obito's expression tightened.

In the moment the dim lamplight illuminated the surroundings, he realized his 'Kamui' was being disrupted, rendering it unusable.

He was now trapped in his own Kamui dimension!

Outside the 'Infinity Castle,' Tsunade's team, racing toward their destination, spotted the massive 'Infinity Castle' looming abruptly on the grasslands, its expanse almost endless to the eye.

Shizune's face was filled with shock. "Is that it?"

"Yes."

Tsunade nodded.

As someone of her rank, she had access to the classified report detailing the joint forces' brutal battle with 'Upper Rank Two' in the 'Infinity Castle.'

Yakumo asked, "Is everyone inside that castle?"

Tsunade explained, "What we're seeing is likely a special dimensional space. The Hidden Sand army and the Akatsuki members are probably trapped inside."

"Shinji…"

Yakumo's face filled with worry.

They had encountered the shadow clones Shinji had sent out, learning the battlefield's latest developments and that Shinji's true body was near the battlefield. Now, with no sign of him, it was almost certain he was trapped in this bizarre city, just like the Hidden Sand army.

Tsunade said, "No time to overthink. Let's go in!"

With that, she accelerated, charging toward the distant 'Infinity Castle.' Shizune and Yakumo hurriedly sped up to keep pace.

Just as the trio was about to enter the 'Infinity Castle,' they noticed two figures on the other side also rushing toward it at breakneck speed.

"'B'?"

Upon recognizing the figures, Tsunade was taken aback.

Shizune added, "That's… a spirit body? It's the Akatsuki's 'D'?"

Undoubtedly, Tsunade's team had run into Karin and Hidan, who had hurried to the scene under Uchiha Shinji's orders.

Karin, spotting Tsunade's team in the distance, paid them no mind and charged into the 'Infinity Castle.'

Hidan, trailing behind Karin, made a provocative gesture toward Tsunade's team before flickering and following Karin into the 'Infinity Castle.'

Seeing Hidan's taunt, Yakumo's expression darkened, and she thought to herself, "Why are they here? Could the boss be here too?"

Shizune asked, "Lady Tsunade, those were…"

Before Shizune could finish, Tsunade nodded. "Yes, the Akatsuki's 'B' and 'D.' They're likely here as reinforcements. Let's go in!"

At another end outside the 'Infinity Castle,' the Hidden Mist elites, led by the Fourth Mizukage, arrived at the castle's perimeter after a rapid march. The towering 'Infinity Castle' in the distance didn't slow their advance; they maintained their high-speed formation, racing toward it.

At that moment, the Fourth Mizukage suddenly halted, raising a hand to signal his elite Mist shinobi to stop.

After stopping, the Mist shinobi noticed two figures in the distance, also heading toward the 'Infinity Castle.'

Both figures wore hooded red-cloud cloaks and masks, unmistakably Akatsuki members.

"Akatsuki members?"

"They're converging here too?"

"So the intelligence was accurate!"

The Mist shinobi, including the Fourth Mizukage, warily observed the two Akatsuki members rushing toward the 'Infinity Castle,' refraining from any rash moves.

If they had harbored doubts about the intelligence regarding the Akatsuki's all-out war with the 'Upper Ranks,' the sight of the 'Infinity Castle' and the Akatsuki members converging on it dispelled much of their skepticism.

"Mist shinobi? And the one leading them… is the Fourth Mizukage?"

Sasuke, charging toward the 'Infinity Castle,' caught sight of the Mist shinobi in the distance, a complex mix of emotions stirring within him.

With his Mangekyō Sharingan, he could clearly see the wariness brimming in the Mist shinobi's eyes as they looked at him.

Even the Fourth Mizukage's gaze was heavy with caution.

He knew, of course, that their wariness wasn't directed at him personally but at the red-cloud cloak he wore and the Akatsuki it represented.

"So this is what it feels like to be an Akatsuki member…"

Suddenly, he found himself savoring the sensation.

The feeling that even a Kage-level powerhouse, standing at the pinnacle of the shinobi world, would hesitate and halt out of fear when facing him!

Haku, noticing Sasuke's distraction, quickly warned, "Don't lose focus!"

"I know!" Sasuke replied, turning his gaze to the 'Infinity Castle' ahead. "What is this place?"

"It's probably a dimensional space created by the demons. Be careful—don't die in there!"

As he spoke, Haku glanced at the Mist shinobi in the distance.

As a spy sent by the Hidden Mist to the Hidden Leaf, Haku still felt a sense of belonging to the Mist. But with the demons' invasion of the shinobi world at stake, he couldn't afford to care about village rivalries. His only thought was to rendezvous with the leader as quickly as possible and eliminate the invading demons.

With that, Haku and Sasuke, one after the other, charged into the 'Infinity Castle.'
