Naruto: Saving the Universe by Stealing Attributes

Chapter 467: Chapter 467: The Three Great Sacred Grounds

After the end of the great war, the Ōtsutsuki Clan was completely wiped out, and humanity of the shinobi world finally became the true masters of the universe.

Under Mirai's command, the five thousand remaining Six Paths-level shinobi forces began spreading across the universe, moving in teams of three.

Inevitably, over the long stretch of time ahead, they would discover countless planets teeming with life.

And humanity would take root on those planets, expanding and flourishing until it covered the entire universe.

Mirai gave these dispatched troops a name: the Vanguard Corps.

As for the possibility of betrayal...

Uchiha Mirai wasn't the least bit concerned.

From the moment they were born, everyone marked with the Engraved Tsukuyomi blemish—an imprint that allowed him to control every aspect of their being whenever he wished.

Besides, unlike the Ōtsutsuki Clan of the past, none of these deployed soldiers possessed God Tree seeds that could convert planetary energy into their own strength.

Without Mirai's aid, these artificially made Six Paths-level beings had little chance of advancing on their own.

Not to mention, the steady supply of resources being sent back from Planet One, Planet Two, and Planet Three...

It was safe to say that, at this point, the shinobi world was enjoying abundance—both in population and in resources.

Through Mirai's machinations, the shinobi world had replaced the former Ōtsutsuki dominion as the new center of the universe.

And Uchiha Mirai—was now the one and only Emperor of the Cosmos.

...

Time passed peacefully. Everything had fallen into place.

No more hatred to consume them, no more resource scarcity to hold them back—

As long as they were willing to put in the effort, anyone could live the life they wanted.

True peace had come to the shinobi world.

Uchiha Mirai sat alone atop the Hokage Rock, downing the last of the sake from his gourd.

Looking down at the flourishing village below, a deep sense of satisfaction filled his heart—something he had never known before.

In his previous life, he had often raged against the injustices of society, but it had always been just empty venting.

So on those sleepless nights, he would imagine himself wielding absolute power—strong enough to fight for what was right without fear, to crush any enemy standing in his path.

Now, that fantasy had become reality.

And he had built a world perfectly aligned with his ideals.

The satisfaction from achieving this dream was second only to the joy he felt when doing team-building activities back home.

"...Still, there's one last loose end I need to deal with."

A few images flashed through his mind—and in the next instant, Uchiha Mirai vanished.

...

Shikkotsu Forest.

Outside the forest, the air was thick with poisonous mist—but deep within the mountain gorge, birds sang and flowers bloomed. The scenery was calm and idyllic.

The Slug Sage was lounging in its carefully tended back garden, dozing off, when a presence suddenly made its heart race.

Its eyes flew open—only to find Uchiha Mirai floating in front of it.

"Mirai-sama? What brings you here?"

Mirai hovered mid-air, his tone calm. "There's something I want to understand. Come with me."

With a single thought, the scene changed in an instant. Mirai and the Slug Sage were now in the damp, shadowy caverns of Ryūchi Cave.

No sooner had they arrived than snakes began slithering away in all directions, fleeing in panic.

Tagorihime, Ichikishimahime, and Tagitsuhime all appeared with grim expressions, only to immediately drop to their knees in reverence.

"L-L-Lord Mirai…"

Their voices trembled with fear—they knew just how dangerous this man was.

After all, Orochimaru had mentioned more than once that Uchiha Mirai's favorite dish was snake soup.

And while the three of them didn't mind eating their own kind from time to time, they certainly didn't want to end up as someone else's meal.

Mirai paid no attention to the three prostrated women. His gaze turned instead to the distance, where a massive snake lurked.

"Manda, it's been a while."

The enormous serpent stiffened, quickly responding, "Mirai-sama… It has indeed been a long time."

Mirai nodded and continued forward, the Slug Sage following behind as they entered the temple within Ryūchi Cave.

There, the White Snake Sage had been curled up on its throne. The moment it saw Mirai, it slithered down and asked nervously,

"Emperor… what brings you here?"

"Come with me. We're going to Mount Myōboku."

Without another word, Mirai activated his powers and vanished, taking both sages with him.

...

Once they were gone, the snakes of Ryūchi Cave gathered around Manda, wide-eyed and full of questions.

"Manda, you know Mirai-sama?!"

Even the White Snake Sage's most trusted attendants—Tagorihime and the others—looked at him with envy and awe.

If Mirai took the initiative to greet him, they must be on close terms.

Note to self: Never mess with Manda again.

Sensing their gazes, Manda lifted his head proudly and laughed offhandedly.

"See this scar on my forehead? Technically speaking, Mirai-sama and I have shared blood."

Back during the Third Great Ninja War, Orochimaru had summoned Manda to the battlefield. Manda had mouthed off—and Mirai had given him a deep cut across the head with a blade.

But hey, blood was spilled.

So technically… that was a bond of blood, right?

Now let's see who in Ryūchi Cave still dares to mess with him!

...

Mount Myōboku.

Fukasaku and Shima gaped in shock as the Slug Sage and White Snake Sage suddenly appeared in front of them.

The three great sacred grounds had never been particularly friendly with each other—so what were the other two sages doing here?

"Hey! You two little ones, go wake up the Great Toad Sage."

Fukasaku and Shima hesitated. "The Great Toad Sage is still resting. We can't disturb him."

"Hmph! If you won't fetch him, we'll go ourselves!"

The White Snake Sage was never known for patience. It immediately tried to force its way in.

Fukasaku and Shima didn't know how to respond.

But before things could escalate, an ancient voice echoed out—

"Mirai-sama has arrived in person. Forgive me for not coming sooner."

The two toads turned, their faces filled with disbelief.

The Great Toad Sage had never left his seat—not since they were children.

And now, he was coming out on his own?

Unbelievable.

Only after hearing the old sage's voice did Uchiha Mirai slowly reveal himself.

He stood between the three sages, tiny as an ant—but each of the ancient beings held their breath, standing respectfully still.

They all understood one thing clearly:

Uchiha Mirai, the strongest being in the world, would never summon them without a reason.

Whatever this meeting was about—it could very well determine their futures.

Sensing the tension, the Slug Sage spoke first.

"Mirai-sama… may we ask what purpose brings us here today?"
