Chapter 12: Ch. 12 SOUL BOND

As the wolf's eyes searched his, a flicker of hope igniting in their depths. the raw vulnerability he saw in her gaze was impossible to ignore and the yearning for companionship that had been gnawing at his heart since he sarted talking to her tugged at him with a force he had never felt before.

Finally, he made his choice. "I name you..." Black began, his voice low and deliberate.

"Red," he murmured, his voice firm and echoing through the underground chamber as he gave the creature a name. It was a name that spoke of power and passion, a name that matched the fiery hue of her eyes and a name that resonated with her nature.

Red whimpered softly, a sound that seemed to carry the weight of a thousand unspoken promises. Her eyes never left Black's, the intensity of her gaze speaking volumes.

As both of them stared at each other, something unpredictable happened, her body unexpectedly began to glow in a eerie illustration. The magical energy in the stygian atmosphere churned and twisted like circular coiling serpents. Causing a sense of unease to will up in her,

"What is happening" Alamed, she asked Black in a shaky breath. The wolf's body stilled, her fiery amber eyes gleaming with a mix of hope and trepidation.

"I don't know what is happening either" Black replied, confused. This was not the result he had anticipated, nor did he knew why it happened. how could simply naming her.....cause such an unnatural phenomenon.

He took a deep, shaky breath and nodded, his voice stronger now, "Don't worry, everything is fine Red"

Senseing her unease, he considered for a moment before speaking "there is no need to worry Red, it's might be happening because of your evolution, since you have evolved to Rank Four not that long ago".

The wolf's body stilled, when she thought about how she had evolved to a Hurricane wolf instead of the frozen tempest wolf her mind relaxed 'yes it must be because of that' she tried to reassure herself despite her growing unease.

They were both right it indeed was something related to her evolution but it was not related to a mere Hurricane wolf. Her species was evolving to a higher level, her entire being was transforming into something Grater, something that would change her Fate and the way she looked at the world.

As the magical energy gushed into her body like a heavy downpour. She could feel the mysterious energy in her body becoming restless. Then it stilled, and stared devouring all the magical energy gushing into her body. The scale of the magical energy being absorbed into her body was so large that it created a storm of magical energy in the larg underground chamber.

All the magical energy around the cave system stared to move towards the direction of the large chamber and increased the density of the magical energy in the large chamber to an astronomical level, if any Rank five magical beast were to come here now it would instantly die even Rank six magical beast wouldn't be spared from death if they were to stay in the large chamber longer than a minute only Rank 7 magical beasts would barely be able to survive.

The unexpected thing was that Black was completely unharmed in this storm of energy like he wasn't even there. Why it was the case he didn't know.

Black watched as Red's body began to grow brighter in a dark-amethyst hue. The transformation was unlike anything he had ever witnessed. He was stunned and awestruck it was as if she was being reborn.

It was as if she was merging with the very fabric of Frost and Wind creating a froststorm in the surrounding, one could even see small layers of ice forming on the ground like the earth itself was cursed with the curse of frostbite. As small cracks began to form in her immediate surrounding.

The glow grew brighter, painting the surrounding in an eerie light, enveloping her in a cold embrace creating a cocoon of dark-amethyst color enveloping her whole body as the magical energy rushed into the cocoon from all direction creating a supernatural atmosphere.

He could feel a power surging within her, a force that resonated with the beating of her heart. The air grew electric, and the ground beneath her trembled as if in response to her metamorphosis.

Then suddenly he felt a Bond forming with her, Black felt the connection to Red deep within her, a bond that transcended the physical and spiritual. A bond that would change her Fate, he could feel the power of the name resonating within her, a gift that he unknowingly bestowed upon her that transformed her from a wild creature to something.....more, something unknown.

Black could feel the intensity of her emotions like, The fear of what is happening to her, The confusion and The truth she had unexpectedly placed on him through the Soul Bond he had formed with her.

As the density of magical energy increased in the five meter tall dark-amethyst cocoon, to prevent her soul sea from collapsing the mysterious energy in her body supposed it and indused hibernationin her.

Her body twitched, then stilled. Her consciousness drifted, barely regaining her mind.

She felt extremely sleepy, but a sudden warmth spread through her body, as if the very essence of her soul was alight with the power of her newfound identity. The name 'Red' seemed to echo and pulse in time with her racing heart, imbuing her with a sense of belonging that she had never felt before.

As she also felt the birth of the Soul bond between her and Black. She was no longer just a wild Hurricane wolf; she was something more, something bound to this enigmatic Creature by a thread of fate and survival.

It was a mysterious feeling she felt for the first time or rather they both felt it for the first time. being connected so deeply to each other, even able to read the other thought and able to sense there emotions.

The energy between them shifted as the name took hold, and the invisible tether grew taut. Red felt the connection to Black deep within her, a bond that transcended the physical. It was as if she had been given a second chance, a chance to be more than just a creature of instinct.

After sometime the wolf's body stilled and her senses were veiled in a haze of amethyst darkness of the cocoon embracing her and the world faded into an indistinct blur of coldness and silence.

And like that Red fell into a long slumber.
