Was George's body in this world considered a genius?
Naturally not. Both his memory and comprehension were actually quite ordinary.
However, his body in the Marvel universe, having inherited Professor X's genes, could indeed be considered a genius in terms of memory and comprehension.
If it were just that, he naturally wouldn't have the confidence to become the most formidable and gifted student in Hogwarts' history.
His confidence primarily stemmed from two points.
Firstly, he didn't have just one brain. His will was one, but now, after skillfully operating two bodies, it was equivalent to simultaneously running two brains for memory, analysis, and comprehension.
For example, when his clone in the Harry Potter world saw a math problem, if he only used the clone to calculate, it might take twenty seconds to do it mentally.
If he simultaneously had his main body in the primary world awaken and join the calculation, with two brains working together, it might take less than ten seconds to mentally arrive at the result.
Similarly, when he was researching and learning a spell, learning with two brains together was much more effective than with one, making him comparable to some top-tier geniuses.
For this reason, he even specially adjusted the main body's schedule in the primary world. In the future, while the clone attended classes during the day, the main body would act as a second brain in the Marvel world at night to assist in improving learning efficiency, and then catch up on sleep during the day.
Secondly, in the days leading up to school, he did one more thing.
He used the supercomputer in the mutant academy's basement to record all the books and textbooks he had read in the Harry Potter world into the computer.
In the future, he didn't plan to let any knowledge points from classes or books in the school library go unrecorded.
Having two brains operating together made him a top-tier genius, but it didn't grant him photographic memory.
Forget him, even the top wizards and legendary wizards of the wizarding world couldn't remember every single word in every book they had read.
But now it was different. All the content was inputted into the supercomputer. As long as he searched for keywords, relevant information would immediately pop up.
As for security, not only was the supercomputer independent and offline, but even if it were somehow leaked, it couldn't be used without wizarding blood. Regular people would probably just think those magic books were pure nonsense.
So, in the upcoming classes, for any questions asked by teachers, if he couldn't remember, he could use the supercomputer to search and quickly get the answer, thereby scoring full marks.
In exams, anything involving theoretical knowledge would be like an open-book test for him.
In the next seven years, he would undoubtedly be among the school's most outstanding students.
As for why he was doing this?
Of course, it was to acquire more resources and better magic. Only by being sufficiently outstanding could he gain more privileges.
If Hermione hadn't been exceptional enough, how would she have gotten a Time-Turner?
If Voldemort hadn't been exceptional enough, how would he have gained the adoration of so many wizards and the favor of teachers, learning so many powerful dark arts spells?
So he also had to be exceptional, excellent in all aspects.
Even if this might make Dumbledore think he was like Voldemort, it didn't matter.
Given Dumbledore's personality, as long as he didn't commit crimes, even if he resembled Voldemort, Dumbledore would at most be wary and monitor him, but wouldn't nip him in the bud.
And speaking of resembling Voldemort, how many top students in Slytherin didn't resemble Voldemort?
"How do you think they'll accurately sort us into Houses?
It won't be some kind of test, will it? Besides a lot of magical history, I haven't read anything else."
Colin's expression was subtly uneasy.
Young wizards from Muggle families usually had very little magical foundation. If it was a test of that sort, he really wouldn't know anything.
"Ron told me it's a terrifying test, but I don't believe it. How could the school do something dangerous to students?
If it really is, I don't think Ron would pass."
Ginny had an indifferent expression, as if no test mattered. She believed herself to be much stronger than her timid brother, Ron.
Luna still maintained her ethereal demeanor:
"Father didn't tell me exactly how the Sorting works, but he said the whole process is very simple, and we'll be sorted into the House that suits us best. No need to worry."
"Oh, is that so? That's good. Which Houses do you all want to go to?"
Colin immediately relaxed upon hearing this, then grew excited again.
"I want to go to Gryffindor. Harry Potter is in Gryffindor, and they say the greatest wizard, Dumbledore, also came from Gryffindor."
"I want to go to Gryffindor too. All my brothers are in Gryffindor."
Ginny replied, her face slightly flushed.
The more important reason, of course, was that her favorite Harry Potter was in Gryffindor.
"Any is fine."
Luna and George spoke simultaneously.
"Ah!!!"
Just then, a scream suddenly erupted in the small room. A group of ghosts had passed through the wall and appeared, startling the young wizards.
The ghosts chuckled and critically appraised the young wizards. Upon seeing Professor McGonagall appear, they scattered and vanished.
"Now, form a single line and follow me."
Professor McGonagall said with a serious expression, then led the young wizards out of the room and towards the Great Hall on the other side of the main hall.
"It's truly magnificent."
As the group entered the Great Hall, George's eyes also lit up.
First to catch his eye were the thousands of magical candles floating in mid-air, then the breathtaking illusion of a starry sky on the ceiling, created by magic.
Below were four long tables, each representing a House, and each filled with wizards from all six years.
On the tables were gleaming golden plates and goblets.
Opposite them, on a raised dais, was another long table, where the school's teachers were seated.
The oldest and most prominent figure in the middle was likely Dumbledore, with Flitwick, Sprout, Lockhart, and others seated on either side.
However, he didn't see Professor Snape, the Head of Slytherin.
He thought back carefully and remembered that Professor Snape was probably currently patrolling the castle, looking for Harry and Ron, who had already made the news.
Because the Malfoy family's house-elf, Dobby, was worried that Harry would face dangers from Voldemort's diary if he came to Hogwarts this year, he had sealed off the entrance to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters when Harry and Ron entered.
The two missed the Hogwarts Express and had to illegally drive Arthur's privately modified magical car to Hogwarts.
However, due to Ron's inexperienced driving, he forgot to turn on the invisibility charm when they first took off. Many Muggles witnessed the miraculous sight of the car flying through the air, and the incident even made it into the Daily Prophet.
At this very moment, the two had probably already arrived at school, but had missed the Sorting Ceremony.
He turned his head and scanned the windows around the Great Hall. Sure enough, in one window, he saw two boys peeking inside, but they were quickly yanked away by a large pair of hands.
"Poor little fellows, my condolences for two seconds!"
Harry and Ron, caught red-handed by Snape, were surely in for a very unpleasant time.
Because Lily was Harry's mother, Snape would protect Harry even at the cost of his own life.
But also because James was Harry's father, Snape genuinely disliked Harry.
